You will get the latest speed AX from the old AC. The only bad thing: You can not use the old router as a mesh now, You need to use the same model now as the mesh.

I have noticed a difference on my wi-fi signal strength in comparison to my old Net Gear wifi mesh network. Highly recommend.

I was having issues with connection inconsistency and kept needing to restart my whole network more than weekly. After the upgrade, I have better speeds, more reliable ping in online games, and haven't restarted in over 2 weeks.

One level house but router is located on on side and other side speeds were awful. Do recommend 3 pack to be safe

Easy to use to the point its lacking features

Wish it had a desktop management app. Everything is done in the google home app. I wish there was a good way to setup multiple ssids and edit the radios in use for each. Most internet provides have that with included equipment now. As for the wifi quality, it’s hard to beat. Handover between points is uneventful and it does a great job of putting devices on the correct band when i check. We have over 40 devices on the network and 5 Xbox's and it lets us all play at one time without and crazy port forwarding or things like that.

A touch dodgy on initial build from the previous system, but it worked out fine. Performance enhanced!

I can easily view and control access of all the devices on my network. I had a Linksys system prior to this one and it was not as user friendly.
