Its a neat box, it doesnt make sense not to include the gamepad because most games need it . Netflix works fast , other tv apps work just fine

Purchased as an upgrade to my Chromecast and could not be happier. Android TV is still young and has plenty of room to grow.

Much better streaming and consistency over the Amazon fire stick.

I bought one for my office and every since my co workers seen how much this can do they've been sending me to pick them one up too. We don't even need that high cable bill for the office with Hulu and Netflix

The player is easy to set up and use. It has a great picture It is small so you don't need much space. My family and friend want one.

I was an early fan of Google TV. Got the Logitech Revue and enjoyed it until it wasnt supported, then moved up to a Sony G box. While I do miss the live TV/cable guide integration of the old GTV platform, I must say, the new slimmer Android TV platform is much improved when it comes to app quality and operational speed. Huge difference in these regards, and with native ChromeCast support it makes it even better for playing music along with photos from any device/app that can cast. When the price dropped to $50 it was a no brainer. Great deal for the best in Android TV boxes.

It works good with HULU and Netflix, allows me to connect to Google Play Music and listen to the albums I have loaded into the cloud.

Must have for any Nexus user and the average user fast reliable and just super cool and the price is just right buy this and you won't be disappointed

The unit was easy to set up and start using right away. It is very small, compact and out of the way. Simple to operate and intuative operation. I would recomend to a friend. Well worth the price.P

The Google - Nexus Player Streaming Media Console is a great alternative for streaming media on your TV. You can also play video games and download apps from google play. Controller sold separately.

I have bought a total of 8 Nexus players. They run Kodi extremely well, I also have a Hdhomerun Prime I use it to watch live TV on them. I absolutely couldn't be any happier than I am with them!

I got this on a really good deal, works as you'd expect a Google Android based Device to do. was a bit of an issue with the Bluetooth Remote and Marshmellow but it appears to have been resolved if you have a SiliconDust HD Homerun Device, the App will even Pull TV Listings and everything, even for the HBO and Showtime Channels. Also easy to install Kodi if you're into that type of thing.

If you are into tech and android - this is the unit. It is actually a small android computer capable of being rooted and can run full lollypop. If you understand what I just said you know that this unit is customizable and therefore much better than Apple TV or Roku. It is also not a bad media device either.

Works great for most media streaming sources. Play store has various apps to satisfy almost all streaming requirements.

This player has its benefits but lacks in available apps. However, you can cast to it just like the standard Chromecast.

This is a wonderful Kodi device. Just download it from the Google Play store and you are set. As far as the Android TV part it is very weak. The Intel processor limits the applications that you are shown in the Play store. The remote feels cheap and brittle. If Kodi is not your thing then I would suggest a Roku.

If you don't have a Chromecast this is next best thing for watching movies, listening to music and anything Google.

Easy to learn and use the stock services, and once I'm thru the learning curve, I'm confident I'll be able to view all my favorites. Saving tons of money since I cut the cable cord.

Nexus player works great. Seamless casting from phones. The app selection is very limited. Many other apps work on the device , but need to be sideloaded which can be a pain.
