Haven't used many features of the phone because the battery drains so quickly. I have to charge the phone mid day. I start with a fully charged phone in the morning, after reading t news and catching up with text, the battery is at less than 70%. I have had this phone for 16 days. I contacted Google, their solution is to reduce the usage of all my apps, even though I am using the same settings as I used with my pro 9. They suggested that I change the settings for my screen to turn off after 30sec to save battery. Now if I hesitate when writing a text, my screen turns off. I told them it was unacceptable. They suggested I return the phone so it can be replaced under warranty. Asked for a copy of my receipt. I sent a copy of my Best Buy receipt and was told that was not an acceptable proof of purchase and that they would do nothing to help. I am 70 miles from the closest Best Buy store , as soon as I can get back to a Best Buy I will have no choice but to exchange it for a Samsung phone. I will be out of the restocking fee, but I have no choice since Google doesn't honor my Best Buy receipt.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS. @BestBuy has the worst, most customer-hostile trade-in policy. Their impossible 13-day mail-in window has cost me the $140 total credit on my Pixel ($110 promo + $30 trade-in value). I tried resolving this in-store, and the transfer to a supervisor via a polite phone call was DROPPED THREE TIMES. No other major retailer has a window this short. Best Buy publishes an extended return policy but uses small print to make an exception for these devices. Fix this system failure and honor the original deal, @BestBuySupport! #BestBuyFails #TradeInScam #WorstCustomerService

In the box is the phone, USB-C to USB-C charge cord and informational guide. First Impression - The phone is similar in size to my current Google Pixel 9a. The camera is different as it is raised and the weight is still the same as the 9a. Phone Quality - The phone seems durable and is sleek. The buttons on the right side of the phone have a nice raised look and feel. There are dual speakers on the bottom and there is no SIM card slot as the phone has the eSIM. Also, I would like to add that there is no memory expansion slot like the 9a. The camera button is a lot bigger on this phone but it does house a bigger camera as well. The camera works even better as it takes super high resolution photos and with Gemini’s assistance with tasks, searches and daily needs, I feel like the Pixel 10 Pro is a true personal assistant. (I took a photo of my finger tip and you could see all of the lines and grooves of my finger.) I wish that I could recycle my current cases to protect the phone as the phone is the same size and shape but the camera bump is different. Ease of Use and Product Function - The installation/setup was seamless as I am already a Google Pixel user, so all I had to do was connect the phone via cellular provider and everything else was already saved from my previous phone, so signing into apps and the WiFi passwords were already saved and ready to log on. Battery Life - I charged the phone to 100 percent after unboxing and the battery life has been impressively better as I am currently still using the same battery life from my unboxing today. Overall, I am enjoying this new phone and I would highly recommend to friends and family. I would definitely purchase again.

Google did not mess around when they came out with the updated Google Pixel 10 Pro phone, the many upgrades have made me really excited to upgrade and make this new Pixel 10 Pro phone a part of my new daily routine. My phone background history includes the original Google Pixel phone, as well as a slew of Samsung phones, never an iPhone so that is what I have to compare this Google Pixel 10 Pro to. This phone was very easy to get started, the Android updates upon startup and getting my account set up went very smoothly. While the updates were taking place I was looking the phone over and could not help but notice just how nicely designed this phone is. It has a very minimalistic and clean appearance, the bezels both look and feel nice, and everything is very appealing to the eye. Once I was able to start using this phone I knew I had several features I had to check out immediately. I always like to put on a 4k or 8k youtube video and turn the quality all the way up. I took it even a step further and compared my old phone with the exact same video next to it to compare screen quality. I must say the Pixel 10 Pro has a noticeable edge on the roughly two year old Samsung, it is just a bit sharper and seems to be brighter, or have a wider range of brightness adjustments. As I watched more on the phone I also noticed that the speakers sound excellent, easily the best speakers I have ever heard from a cell phone. There are speakers on both the top and bottom of the phone. I am still waiting for my case to be delivered but it does not appear that the speakers would be covered with an even moderate protection case so that's a relief. I also really appreciate the fact that this is the most advanced camera system Google Pixel has put out yet, as camera quality is usually my number one factor or important feature with my phone. Starting with the front camera, it is drastically better compared to my older Samsung phone. My friends have always complained about the quality of my front camera, saying it has a strange look to it, somewhat along the lines of a fish eye look but not full on. I purposely took a few selfies with them with this phone and had them take a few of their own just to see their thoughts and they all agree, it does not have the strange distortion that they have complained about, and the overall quality is definitely better. As far as the back cameras, the improvements over my old phone are not as drastic, but still an improvement nonetheless. The Pro Res Zoom feature is fun to use, as I tend to catch myself in situations where a really good zoom would be useful, and now having this feature in my pocket at all times is so exciting. And as a semi-professional photographer that does prefer a full size camera for photos a lot, especially for portraits, I was curious to test out the 50mm portrait feature this camera has. It comes out with a very high resolution, even higher than I was expecting, and the depth of field is impressive and better than I was expecting as well. Google just keeps knocking it out of the park with their camera quality with the Pixel phones, and this felt like a huge leap for them. Again, coming from my roughly two year old Samsung, which the battery life was not necessarily bad on, but the battery life of the Google Pixel 10 Pro is very noticeably better. I tend to top off my phone's battery throughout the day just out of habit but just to put it to the test, I have not been plugging in my new Pixel 10 Pro just to see where it is at at the end of the day with my normal usage. I have been consistently ending the day with thirty to forty percent battery life left, for comparison, my Samsung usually ended the day around twenty percent with its quick little boosts throughout the day. And probably obvious but I will note, the phone charges extremely fast, and without getting hot. Overall, I have enjoyed switching back over from Samsung to the Google Pixel family and seeing how far the Pixel phones have come is awesome. I highly recommend this phone to just about anyone, and seeing how the competition of the phone industry expands from the big two to the big three is an exciting thing for us as consumers.

I have to say I was excited for the Pixel 10 series but I have mixed feelings. I used to love Pixel back when I had my 4xl, then I swapped to galaxy phones for a few years. I feel like you get so much more for your money. Now that the tenth generation is out I wanted to try them again. The first thing I noticed when I took the phone out of the box is the feel of the phone. It is weighty and feels substantial in the hand. Very comfortable to hold on to. I always go for the biggest screen I can get but was confused this time. Google keeps swapping what xl and pro means so I ended up with not the biggest screen. So far I'm good with it. The pro xl is about half an inch taller and I think it would be harder to use and hold one handed. The pixel 10 pro size is good, still a nice big screen. And the screen is beautiful. Deep rich colors, gets nice and dim at night also very bright during the day, and mostly smooth and fluid. I have noticed a few apps where the scrolling is slower and choppy but that should get resolved with updates. During set up I had some reservations about the 10 pro being e-sim only (lots of negative reviews about it) but there's no problem with it. Couldn't be easier to swap to new phone. A couple button presses on old phone, accept on new phone and it's done! Call quality is great. Speakers, both earpiece and speakerphone get nice and loud. I do really like the phone app on the Pixel, having the spam detection baked right in is wonderful. If you like a more pure android experience, this is a great phone. The material you design Google has is nice but it doesn't let you get super customizable. That's where samsung has them beat. I like more options on things I can change. And little goodies built in. Tap for screen off, no leading 0 in the clock, layout of the home screens, changing font to name a few. Also the design of the system ui isn't great, some elements look childish and the buttons are sometimes huge(Gmail in landscape) hopefully just bugs that will get worked out. Now the camera(s) Google pixel does make amazing cameras and software. The pro res zoom at up to 100x is quite unbelievable. I took a photo of my neighbors house number 250 feet away through a glass window and a screen. The Ai made it as clear as if I was standing in front of it! And the AI being most of what this phone is about is astounding. I've barely made a dent in what it can do. I have to watch many hours of YouTube videos to learn it. I am impressed with it so far. At first I was a bit worried about the battery life, I know with set up, the first day or 2 would be bad but it was several days and I couldn't get through the day. Then something clicked and now I can go a full day and a half on a charge. That's really good! What's not good is how to charge the phone. If company's are going to make it so complicated to rapidly charge your phone, they need to include the proper chargers in the box again. I have purchased proper wattage chargers with all the stupid acronyms (PD, PPS) and I can only get the Pro 10 to charge at 21 watts wired and 12 watts wirelessly. That's still good but not what it should be. Pixel snap. Love it. Should have done it years ago. Soo much easier on stands at home and in the car. Nice accessories and hopefully more to come that can just magnetically snap to the back of the phone. I haven't made my mind up yet on the over all design of the phone (Same as last year) I preferred the more squared off corners. I think the pixel is losing identity by copying the iPhone. The super round corners cut off usable screen real-estate. I'm also not hating the bigger screen bezels it still has. When you put on a case, they help so it doesn't cover the screen. And if you use gesture navigation, it's better not having the case right on the edge. I do think this is a really nice phone and will definitely get better with time but they should have given a few more upgrades for the premium prices they charge.

As a longtime Pixel user—this is my fourth since 2019—I've come to expect a certain level of performance and seamless integration from Google. I’m not in any danger of switching to another phone, as I'm a partisan when it comes to Google’s approach to productivity software and service integration. But this also means that the bar for a new Pixel to impress me is quite high. Despite my high expectations and the relatively recent upgrade from a Pixel 9 Pro XL, the Pixel 10 Pro has proven to be well worth it. The most obvious and impactful upgrade is the camera. While I wouldn’t call myself an enthusiastic photographer, the new portrait mode is fantastic. The AI-assisted zoom is particularly impressive; it’s so good that it’s given me a few existential moments, making me question whether the end result still "counts" as a real photograph. I've only used the AI-assisted "add me" feature as a party trick, but I can already tell it's a tool I'll be glad to have in my back pocket for serious use down the road. Battery life is another area where the 10 Pro shines. This was one of the few detractors of my last phone, but the new battery has consistently impressed me. Several times, I’ve braced myself to charge the phone, only to find it well over 60%. I use a lot of apps, including the localized AI features, and placing it on a wireless charger overnight is all the power it needs. The new AI features, specifically the deeper integration of Gemini, are a noticeable improvement. The voice assistant is tripped up far less often, and I’ve retrained myself to expect more from it. Giving it longer, more detailed instructions for things like calendar events is now well within the “Hey Google” boundaries. There are, however, some drawbacks. The Magic Cue feature, which promises background AI assistance, is undermined if you use third-party applications. For example, my messaging app aggregates SMS, Google Messages, iMessage, and Discord into a single chat interface. Because of this, I don't get the benefit of Magic Cue intuitively picking up details from my text messages. It’s a bit of a letdown, and I feel like I'm leaving some of the phone's best features on the table. Still, the AI translator feature got a lot of amazed reactions from my bilingual coworkers, so I know the potential is there. Physical design and UI response are also fantastic. The phone looks and feels great, and there's a noticeable difference in responsiveness from my last phone, even though I wasn't dissatisfied with the previous version. Despite my small reservations about some of the AI features' practicality for my specific use case, the Pixel 10 Pro is a solid and impressive phone.

This review is on a Google Pixel 10 Pro 128GB (Unlocked) - Obsidian. I am upgrading from a Pixel 6 Pro. First look at the phone, I could see there are changes. It has a silky matte glass back with a polished metal frame. I also noticed the redesign to look more like another brand. The sides are flat instead of rounded. I turned it over and took one look at the camera lens and could tell this looks like a serious camera. It is Wi-fi 7. The memory and storage is the same and it took me years to fill up my previous Pixel so it is enough. The screen auto adjusts between 1 - 120Hz variable refresh rate which is top of the line. Google really makes swapping phones so easy. This phone doesn't use a SIM card but uses an eSIM. This is one less step to have to take when setting up your phone. You will not have to remove the SIM card from your old phone and put it in your new phone. To start off when turning on the phone it gives you a QR code to scan. So you use your old phone to scan the code and it will ask you to continue setup. It grabs all the info it needs from your old phone to sign into your Wi-fi without entering anything. Then it adds your account without having to sign-in. Next, it knows your phone number already and begins to activate the eSIM. It transfers all the info from your SIM to the new eSIM while you continue to setup the rest and will tell you when it is activated. It then gives you the option to copy all the pictures, messages, settings and apps by two methods. Express or customize. Express will only copy recent photos. Customize will copy everything but my old phone was full so it said it didn't have room to copy everything to my new phone so I had to use express. There are a lot of questions and screens to go though to continue setting it up while it copies but both didn't take too long. I found that some of my apps would already sign straight into my account without entering anything. It is spot on, like just swapping phones and it is ready to go just like on your old phone. Photos look great and you can make changes to them just by asking. I took a picture of my bed and told it to remove the comforter. It is kind of scary what it can do. The comforter was gone and the sheets were an exact match in color even with wrinkles in them. It looked so real. This camera has an awesome 20x zoom and it still looks good. Performance is about what my old phone is like. Sound is better than my old phone. There are many new features that AI offers that I still haven't tried yet but look forward to using them. This is a great phone that I look forward to having for a few years.

Upgrading from a Pixel 7 and all I can say is WOW – What a difference. This product looks and feels like a premium product and quite aesthetically pleasing. Packaging and Unboxing – Very minimalistic packaging of all recyclable content. In the box was the phone, quick set up guide and and a USB cable for phone to phone transfer of data. Simple and very welcome! Setup – Very simple and quite streamlined as I was going from Pixel 7 to this new offering. The phone easily walked through the steps to transfer all data – photos, music, messages, accounts, contacts etc. As I had quite a bit of data (100GB or so) it took about 40 minutes over wifi. Be sure to have both phones fully charged to accommodate the transfer process. I also really appreciated the wase of converting to esim from the physical sim card on the pixel 7. The Pixel 10 pro does not have a physical sim tray slot. I had my new Pixel 10 pro set up through t-mobile via esim in about 60 seconds. Not sure how esy other carriers would be but T-mobile was a breeze. Performance – The phone connects to my wi-fi 7 set up in house and is extremely fast with no lag on page downloads. Over the air I connect to T-mobile 5g AC, also very fast. The screen is a super bright 3300 nits OLED and I have not turned up the brightness to its max setting, even in sunlight. Cameras are stellar for a phone set-up but and I have not seen anything better. Battery lasts me a full 2 days easy and recharge time is rapid. The AI is Google Gemini which I actually have grown to appreciate and is conversive in a way I did not expect. Could not be happier with this Pixel 10 Pro. Well done, highly recommended.

This is my review of the new Pixel 10 Pro. In all fairness I should say I'm 70 yrs. old, suffer from hearing loss & don't like changes. For starters, I had a difficult time in the beginning with getting info from old phone transferred to new phone. The Esim transition did not work & I had to get Verizon involved. That only made matters worse because they screwed up my wife and my cell numbers on our phones. Once we got that all straighten out things got simpler. Positives for the phone: The Camera takes better quality photo's than my old phone. There's also a bunch of features, like a Telephoto lens for zooming in, an add me feature we you can add yourself into your photo. You also have an option to take panoramic photo's. Battery life is awesome, I can go a couple of days without recharging. Plenty of Storage & Memory room for all my photos & info from old phone to be transferred over & I still have tons of space. Display is improved over old phone. While there's still room for improvement I can now see my screen even in direct sunlight. Negatives for the phone: Ring tones, I feel like the choices are boring & limited. Also the available volume for the ring tones is low. Weight, you'd think the phones would get lighter & smaller. While the size is basically the same as my old phone, the weight has increased. In closing, this phone has options I'll probably never use but my kids & grandkids would love. I would recommend this phone. The quality of the phone calls has been awesome. No dropped calls or service.

Firstly I received my pixel 10 pro in perfect condition from the carrier. Unboxing has the phone and a charger cable only no box included for your wall outlet. I have been using iPhones for the last 15 years and my son and my sister both have had pixels after iPhones and swore to me I would love this better. They call this the iPhone killer and welp I gave it try. The screen and functionality is similar to my iPhone and using the phone was easy and simple. Adding apps from the App Store was seamless and I was surprised to find out all the date from an iPhone could be easily transfer with a cable between the two phones. I got all the same apps and contacts and photos etc. My two favorite things about the pixel 10 pro are the cameras and the speakerphone. The cameras are stunning. The zoom is phenomenal. The editing capabilities are vast and all photos seems to look incredible. I tried low lighting , zoom 100x, everything looks good. I will say on 100x zoom the picture gets a little cartoony. The speakerphone.. wow so much better than my other phone. When I’m using it the speaker changes depending on how I’m holding the phone so I’m always getting crisp clean dialog. The thing I dislike most about this phone is it would get really warm, probably because it’s mid grade processor has a hard time keeping up. While I can open 10 browsers and navigate them seamlessly, the phone warms up when throwing a lot at it. Overall this is a cool phone and the android 16 software is optimized to this phone so the OS works really really well. I guess I’m a slave to iPhone though.. not able to fully switch and I missed my iPhone while testing the pixel out. I will recommend to friends and family it’s a great phone just not for me

Congratulations Google; you have just near perfected (nothing is ever truly perfect....but this is darn near close) an android phone. Before I start my full review I think it is important to mention that I love this phone so much, that I ordered a Google Pixel 10 Pro 512GB version last night just so I can have another with more on hand storage. The phone is packaged beautifully in the most minimalistic and slim style packaging. Inside the box, you are greeted with the gorgeous Pixel 10 Pro in Obsidian which is a very rich looking black. Inside the box is also a USB-C charging cable. Set up of the Pixel 10 is just as easy as it always is and if you are an iPhone user making the switch to android then you will have the ability to transfer over your iPhone contents via USB-C to USB-C (phone to phone). If you are a current android user its transfers everything over seamlessly. The phone also now has e-sim so future Pixel upgrades will be seamless when transferring your cell phone number over. The Pixel 10 Pro has many incredible features so allow me to walk you through my favorites before I hit some other incredible Highlights. AI: Artificial Intelligence has been one of the most talked about tools that Humans can tap into on a daily basis and because of Google Gemini, you can now too, directly on your Pixel. Gemini has officially replaced google assistant and comes with a year free subscription from google when you purchase the Pixel. After that, I believe it will cost a few hundred dollars a year. Let me tell you, this thing is absolutely worth it. To have the power of Gemini on your cell phone it is unbelievable. My first test was uploading a photo of my coffee mug. It not only recognized the character but laid out every single detail of the image. I also asked Gemini what type of bread my dog was and it nailed it. I am super excited to see how Gemini keeps on improving. Up Next....The Camera: Google has always had a top camera on their Pixel line of devices but not only do I feel like they enhanced this camera but they use the power of Gemini to really enhance your photos. I personally have ZERO editing skills or really how to frame a nice photo. Well, Google solved this with "Camera Coach". When aiming your camera at a person or a scene, you can press the camera coach icon and it will literarily guide you to take the best photo possible. To test this out, I took two photos, one photo exactly how I would take it and the other with camera coach guiding me. Camera Coach easily outshined me and it is a tool I am going to use a lot. Pro Res Zoom is another incredible feature and I tested this with a flag that was on my neighbors lawn four houses down. I zoomed in 100X and took the photo and of course it was extremely blurry but you can easily tell it is a washed out color photo of a flag. Within seconds (it takes a bit to render) AI enhanced the entire image perfectly...It actually opened my jaw up. The flag had gorgeous and naturaly looking colors, the grass was not pixelated and a vibrate green, the side walk looked exactly as it does. I was mind blown....bravo google.I have noticed that this works better when you are photographing something colorful and not a human being but this will improve. Next is the portrait photo mode which is something I have always used frequently. The 50MP camera captures so much depth of detail its wonderful. When taking a photo of a group or anything at all, you can actually have AI add you into the photo. I tested that out and it is pretty wild. Magic Cue: Using AI, Magic Cue will actually make suggestions during texts, calls or just generic searches. I love this feature. If I call an airline to adjust my flight or book a ticket, my flight numbers automatically come up on the phone. If someone texts me where are we eating dinner tonight, then magic cue provides the information in the text for me to select (as long as this information is on the phone it works well). Google Pixel has many incredible features and I am so excited to continue using this phone as well as the 512GB I ordered. I cannot recommend this phone enough and thank google enough for sending it. I highly recommend this, go out and buy it.

Right off the bat the Pixel 10 Pro looks identical to last year’s design. This isn’t a bad thing but there isn’t anything that immediately sets the two apart physically. The display is the same size at 6.3 inches bit the display did receive a brightness boost to 3,300 nits. The Pixel 10 Pro is noticeably thicker by about 1 cm which could be due to the improved camera, wireless charging components (which are absent in the previous version), and slightly larger battery. Finally, the Pixel joins the likes of Apple, where the Pixel 10 introduces Pixelsnap, a magnetic system based on the Qi2 wireless charging standard, enabling seamless alignment with chargers, wallets, and mounts. Identical to MagSafe. The Pixel 10 Pro sports a triple-lens camera setup for the rear facing cameras: a 50 MP wide, a 48 MP ultrawide, and a 48 MP telephoto (5× optical zoom) lens. A front facing 42 MP dual phase detection auto focus selfie camera completes the package. What sets the Pixel apart the AI-driven camera features from the purported 100X zoom, and the AI photo editing which was extremely useful. It’s easier to tell Gemini what you want edited vs doing it yourself. I am sure more professional users want to edit everything, I don’t. I want camera to give me real time framing and lighting guidance, take multiple group shots and merge the frames to give the best photo possible, and finish it off with me editing via voice. In all low light situations the Pixel 10 outperformed my wife’s iPhone 15 Pro and I was able to edit the photos quickly. I also was able to take photos from farther away while at the beach without any substantial distortion from the Pixel 10 Pro. It wasn’t even close. The Pixel 10 Pro is powered by the Tensor G5 chip with features such as Magic Cue which proactively suggests relevant smart actions from Gmail, Messages, Calendar, and more. Voice Translate lets you conduct real-time translated phone calls in your own voice just make sure you’re phone’s software is up to date and you downloaded the appropriate language packs. The battery life is nothing to boast about but the battery will get you through the day. When you do need to charge you’ll be subjected to 30W wired charge speeds and slower speeds via Qi2. The charging speed isn’t a deal breaker for me but under heavy usage I needed to recharge. The Google Pixel 10 Pro is a refined flagship which excels in AI usability and photography. Some other android based flagship devices have better hardware, but the Pixel 10 Pro looks sleek, is compatible with magnetic accessories thanks to the Pixelsnap function, and the build quality is definitely premium. Just remember those high quality photos take a lot of space and the 128GB base model’s storage will get eaten up fast.
