Was told it had gorilla Glass but it slid down my leg hit the floor and shattered the screen on very low impact paid $200 for the protection plan and within a week had to replace the phone. No accessories inside the store 4 glass protector or phone cases to prevent it from happening again.

The first day I owned this phone, it fell out of my pocket and the glass cracked. It only fell 1-2 feet! I've never had a phone crack on me before. I am so disappointed. Of course, the warranty doesn't cover this of course and I can't return it. I wish I could just replace the glass because the screen and everything else still functions.

I've had this phone for nearly two years now and it's probably my least favorite phone I've owned. Including the cheaper Alcatel and lower end LG phones I've had. It's not bad but not what I'd call great. Wouldn't reccomed to people who are looking for a great phone. But would reccomed for sonone looking for a meh phone.

Oldest son has a pixel - lives it. Bought my daughter one & it was good. No problems til she dropped it. Had insurance so replaced it with the purplish - had for 9 days when it started seriously malfunctioning. Took it to Best Buy & they swapped it out for a new. Fingers crossed that the 3rd one lasts!

I really like this phone but I'm leaving a two-star review due to the ringer, alarm, and speakerphone not working after two months. I can still listen to music or watch a movie on my phone but the ringer no longer functions (just vibrates). Thankfully I found this out on a weekend when I didn't have to work. Otherwise, this phone is great!

Spent hours trying to unlock the phone but wasn't able to so I had to return it to the store. They didn't even want to give me my money back. Finally we had to get a manager involved. Very back experience at best buy. No idea how the phone works as I could never get it unlocked from best buy.

First off, Best Buy is great, but the phone I wanted was wrongly documented as to being unlocked. So I had to choose the Pixel 3A. I liked the look and really liked they fact that it has a single rear camera (instead of 2 or 3). But I dislike using it or the interface and will be looking for a phone more like the one I initially opted for.

WIsh I could give this thing a lower rating. First of all, if you have one already, get a cardboard box to protect it from falls of 2 feet or less. Mine cracked from such a distance and became unworkable. The replacement phone was even worse, as it drops calls in the middle of conversations and the battery charger connection has to be wiggled in order to start charging. It makes notification noises all the time; however, half of that time, there is no indication of what it was. Then if you using the internet or some other program, you only get about 3 seconds to push the answer button before it gets lost. You can't just swipe the phone to answer, either.

Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent mobile device. The camera is amazing. Unfortunately, manufacturers try to make the most fragile screens possible, so, of course, the screen shattered the second time my girlfriend dropped her phone. This isn't necessarily the fault of the Dragontrail glass... even the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 is rated for only 15 drops (how many times will you drop your phone over its lifespan?). My budget Moto G4 Play has been forcefully propelled into the ground countless times and run over by traffic... TRAFFIC, and the screen is still fully intact. Although this isn't a "flagship" phone, I still consider it "high end" and therefore I expect more from it. A broken screen defeats the purpose and a durable screen is essential to a mobile device. I don't recommend purchasing this unless you want to constantly be repairing a screen or handing out money for someone else to do it for you. Get the insurance.

One of the best budget phones in USA

The pixel 3a has met my already very high expectations I had for it. It has an excellent screen and battery life, along with the camera that made the pixel 3 so famous. Great camera + great screen + headphone jack for $399 makes this phone the winner in my book in the budget phone market.
