I love this phone. The camera is excellent. Battery life is great. Despite the mid-level processor, I'm not noticing any lag. (Note: I'm not a gamer.) I also always use a case, so it being plastic is really a non-issue for me. Pure Android is the way to go. Granted, I wasn't coming from a flagship - I think paying that much for a phone is coo-coo bananas - so I'm not missing the bells and whistles I never had in the first place. My only real issue is with the relatively small internal storage, but since getting the phone I changed carriers. The deal I got more than tripled my data for only $5 extra a month, so I'm getting used to streaming my music via Spotify all the time now, when I used to keep my massive library locally. I'd definitely recommend the phone.

I'm a Google Fi subscriber, so I have a pretty limited number of phones to choose from that take full advantage of the network. After paying top dollar for the Nexus 6, and then again for the Nexus 6P, I eventually decided to scale back and went with the Moto G6. It worked well enough for a budget phone, but it still felt a little barebone compared to my previous models. I've had my eye on the Pixel line for a while, but price alone held me back. That is, until the release of the 3a. It's essentially a luxury device for the cost of a low-to-mid-range model. The screen and camera are spectacular, the processor is snappy, and even the plastic shell---it's one drawback---looks amazing in light purple. Suffice it to say, I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent camera, perfect size, excellent signal & call quality, speedy processor, works on all US providers - no wireless charging but the price makes it by far the best value phone on the market

Great device. No frills at a good price. Same camera as the Pixel 3. I've had it for almost a month and it performs great. I don't stream many videos and don't game on it. I regularly get 30 hours of battery life.

You can't go wrong with this phone. Takes awesome pictures, doesn't feel cheap in hand, and the speed of the device is not too bad. For $400 (and if you buy it early enough, get $100 gift card back) making the phone $300. This is a no brainer. Especially if you need a backup phone, or if you want to play around with the latest versions of android. This device, as promised by Google, will be supported for minimum of 3 android releases.

Got this phone for my wife. She likes it alot. Great price and battery life. Only wish it had wireless charging, but we expect the usb-c port will hold up much better then a micro usb.

I purchased the pixel 3a after being a long time ios user (on the iphone 5se) and had decided that the price tag of the new apple phones proved too steep for me to climb.  Also it has an audio jack! What attracted me to this phone was the camera and the fact that I primarily utilized google apps in general as a smart phone user.  The pixel 3a came in with a very clean and easy to use android system that made using all the google apps a lot more streamlined. Saving photos for example on the google photos app has also made storing and organizing photos so much easier. The only drawback was that I could no longer use the apple facetime app and had to convince family members to get google Duo which so far is working just as well.

It has been 2 week that I am using this phone. I usually do a lot of research before buying any electronic product. Similarly I did lot of research before buying this phone. There are lot of YouTube videos available which can surely tell you the capabilities of this phone. My utilisation was not that complex, it just the routine usage like calls, texting, videos calls, listening to songs, casting over WiFi network, using GPS, photpgraphy and some browsing. The battery lasts for one day and it charges quickly too. The price is very less as compared to the features that are provided and it beats the competition. I am happy with this purchase and I would like to recommend this phone to everyone.

I'm so glad Google realized people are tired of paying $1000 for cell phones that last 2-3 years. This phone has an amazing camera, fast charging, long lasting battery, perfect size and weight too.

The price is right, the camera is VERY good, and it has a headphone jack. It's google so it spies on you but that's any android. The new one is coming out in a month or two.

Although this smartphone doesn't have the latest (i.e., fastest) processor or wireless charging, this phone will meet the needs for the bottom 90% of users (i.e., all but the most demanding users). The camera is great (it is claimed to be the same as the camera on the Pixel 3 which is usually considered the best smartphone camera on the market as of May 2019). I don't see how you can go wrong at the $400 (or less) retail price. And you get 3 years of operating system updates directly from Google which is undoubtedly the earliest you can get updates. Since this phone has been out only a month or so, there are no reliability statistics but so far it is great. Highly recommended!

Pros : -Amazing camera, the best in the class. Better value for money than Pixel 3 as you loose features which u can live without. 3-year update guaranty so we can use the phone for long term. -Good screen size which can used at ease with only one hand Cons : -Decent battery but not good enough for day use . Need to charge daily. If you need a bigger battery then I suggest buying the pixel 3a XL. -Large bezels on the sides which makes video viewing, not a great experience. Neutral : -Performance is hit and miss. Works well at times but i have had few restarts .

I picked up a Pixel 3a the day it was released. My primary reason was to be able to get the Android Q beta to get familiar with the new features that are coming in that version. I didn't want to put the beta on my primary phone and felt this was a good choice at the price point for the Pixel 3a. The phone has turned out to be better than I expected. The camera is amazing with a ton of features and Google Lens built in. The lack of wireless charging and plastic materials that make up the back of the phone are not issues at all for me. This is truly a solid phone that will get all the updates for Android first. And the price is the icing on the top.

I recently upgraded my current Google Pixel 2XL with this Pixel 3a. The size of the phone is perfect to use with one hand while the screen is still big enough for me to enjoy online experiences as well as gaming. It's a little lighter in the hands and in pocket which is nice. Love the speed and color of the screen. My 2XL was nice but there were a lot of blue tones in the white colors. Camera is amazing as I knew it would be with true to life colors and sharp resolution. Charging time is very fast with USB type-c charging. I would recommend this Google Pixel 3a to anyone looking to upgrade or switch to something different.

I had a Google Nexus 6p before and I love that phone. so when the new one came out and I needed a new phone the 3A was just what I was looking for. It's quite easy to use. Price is very nice. And it's well worth the money. Takes great pictures.

I got this phone to replace an Essential PH-1. I'd been on the fence about getting a Pixel 3 but the higher price was put me off. The Pixel 3a gets back to the things I loved about the previous Nexus line. Decent specs at a reasonable price with some nice features. The camera is the standout feature but everything else about the phone feels great. The case is a little slippery, I'd recommend a thin case. But the weight is good. They battery life has been great for me. Easily 24+ hours with plenty of screen time used.

I use Google phones because I don't want to use iPhone. I don't want to buy Samsung or LG, so it seems there aren't many choices in the market. I always buy unlocked. The previous one I had was Google Nexus 6P, but all of a sudden it started to not able to run normally after about 3 years. This one works great! It's not so big, but good size with light weight, and also not so expensive. When I buy phones, I want to have something good to last few years. There are too many apps that come with the phone, which I most likely won't use ever. I wish I could uninstall them all, but that's okay.

This replaces a Nexus 6x that was worn out. Checked reviews on line from as many DIFFERENT sources as possible and with other people I know that have the 3a. I prefer close to "pure android" as possible so based on all this I went with the Pixel 3a. Reasons to get this phone are Price, Quality and Features including the camera. Out of the box with Pie and got the OTA update to Android 10 September 3 along with the other google phones. It has the old plastic case but when wrapped in a cover it doesn't matter. The display is good and there is NO NOTCH intruding on the screen.Over all a GREAT phone hope the trend continues.
