Great Camera/Phone, Money Well Spent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Pixel 3a-XL on a whim with my tax refund back in February. My Google Nexus 6P had run out of Android OS updates, and I love my no-nonsense carrier Google (Project) Fi. The Google Assistant works effortlessly with both my Android-TV Sony Bravias. Wonderful camera takes great photos, especially low-light shots. An improvement over the 6P, which was considered the best in 2015. The 3a-XL boots up quickly and has a fantastic 12 hour charge span. Has stereo speakers & headphone jack; easy to link with Spotify Premium. And yes, it's really Purple-ish. Thanks BBY Mansfield, MA.

Fabulous Phone!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What isn't there to like about this phone? Fast, Pure Google OS, Amazing Camera, Great Screen, and Price! I went over to an iPhone from Android a while ago, and decided to try Android again! I was simply blown away at how nice the OS is now...This phone is great, and NOT ONLY for the price, but also the performance! There isn't a phone out there today, that packs as many features for the price that this phone does, not to even mention how amazing the camera is! You can pay a premium price for a flagship phone, but if you are just a normal phone user, that uses your phone for phone calls, surfing the web, doing email, social media, etc, and want a camera that will simply blow you away, then this is the phone for you! If there were 10 stars to chose, I would give it a solid 10!! Oh and not to mention that it has a headphone jack, so I can leave my dongles at home when listening to my music! :)

Great phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little hesitant; wondering if this phone would be as fast as my 1st Gen Pixel. No problem....it seems snappier. Handles the games and other apps I have tried with ease. Display is great. I saved $250 not going to the 3 XL. Has a headphone port! Lack of SSD port or wireless charging not a problem for me

Execellent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good phone with good battery life and no need to mention about stock android which is cleaner OS. Display is OK and could be little better. Liked to finger print security which saves lot of time to wake up the phone. Way to go Google!

Good fun but just 3 months in and doesn't wanna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I was in love with the phone and it was my first high-end expensive phone. It worked great, pictures and videos were good. It does glitch a little bit yesterday about to be 3 months into having my phone the charging port didn't work. Now if you have a regular google pixel 3 xl you can use a tray to charge it well i happen to get the 3axl and it is not compatible for it. So if you still wanna get this phone though a lot of people are having this issue after a while of owning their phone then try to get the regular google pixels and make sure on the spects.

Best value phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really good phone working on AT&T. Has a great screen, stock Android , AT&T wifi calling working right out of the box and the best camera on the market. Has world wide band support for those of us traveling internationally. No wireless charging but hey I can live without that. I would have went for the Xiaomi but those Chinese phones are missing important frequency bands needed for AT&T. I made the right choice with this phone for sure . Highly recommended

Best mid range phone !!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought a pair of these a couple of weeks ago, we were switching over from Motorola Moto G5 Plus......so this was a very big upgrade in terms of quality and price. It's been a long time since I've spent this much on a cell phone.....and it was worth every penny. Too this point I haven't found a single thing to complain about, switching phones was VERY simple, connect a cord and everything is swapped over.

Broken in 4 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had terrible problems with my Pixel 1 phone, it was replaced 6 (six) times. I bought this Pixel 3a phone 4 months ago only because my Pixel 1 was dead and I needed a replacement ASAP. And in the beginning I thought it was a huge improvement, especially the camera. But now the speaker is working strangely: I can speak on the phone, but speakerphone is not working, I can't use Skype or Whatsapp. The alarm is not working, the phone is not ringing on incoming calls. The battery life became shorter and shorter every day. The phone is over hitting a lot. Google suggested a replacement, and I am afraid that they will send me a refurbished phone again. Now I am stuck with a malfunctioning device for I don't know how long.

Great camera, great battery life but......
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be fair the phone has been great for 4 months, the camera the battery life, the fluid stock Android. But there is a known issue with the bottom speaker malfunctioning and causing none of your notifications or calls or alarms to work. Google has known of this issue since the pixel 2 and haven't addressed fixing it even the pixel 4 is having this issue. If you buy this phone from Best buy beware because Google will NOT send you a replacement phone until you send them your phone so they can run diagnostics on it, to see if you qualify for a replacement, so you can be phoneless for up to 10 days which in today's world is not good, not Best buys fault.

Very disappointed in build quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have wanted a Google Pixel for a very long time. I decided to dip my toes in the water by purchasing the Pixel 3a XL. I was steered towards it by the Best Buy rep who was very helpful. I believe he knew what he was talking about when we discussed the pros and cons of the 3a XL or the regular Pixel 3 (they're about the same price right now). I have had the phone for two days. I haven't watched many videos or listened to music until today. At Max volume, the top speaker makes a high pitched robotic crackling sound. I thought perhaps it was just the audio from the video I was watching, so I watched three more. Nope. It's the phone. I hadlve read that Google's build quality is subpar, though their software is amazing. I was hoping I'd find both to be reliable, but I see the reviews are right. I will be returning this to Best Buy tomorrow as a defective device. I'm super bummed, because I LOVE the software. I also understand that at a total MSRP of $479, this device is considered "budget", but I have a OnePlus 6T that is at MSRP of $500, and it has performed flawlessly to-date. Well, at least I tried...

Should have come with a second adapter.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone comes with USBa fem to USBc male adapter but the adapter I found that I needed when my phone ran out of power at work was a USBc fem to USBa Male so I could use my car charger. For 479.99 + tax I feel like both adapters should have come with the phone, I'm very disappointed.

Solid device, just don't drop it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical from the outset when I read the screen isn't Gorilla Glass, turned out it was with good reason. I stumbled while walking up stairs, it popped out of my hand, fell maybe 2-3 feet and landed face down (it's in a bumper case with a raised lip around the screen). Picked it up and the screen was a mess; splintered bits, fine dust/sandy particles. I've cracked a gorilla glass screen, but at least that always seemed to try and stay together. I'm relatively hard on my phones, but I take care of them. This is far and away the fastest I've had one crap out on me (~2 months). I can accept root cause was "user error," but I've had many phones that took much worse, so it will definitely be the last Google smartphone I buy.
