I've kept this thing relatively well protected. It's slid of the couch and fallen in the car. Typical non-negligent abuse a phone should hold up to. Not a scratch or dent exist on it and after 6 months the camera and flash has stopped working (crashes). Going through to possibly factory reset the phone is a nightmare. From most others it seems this won't fix it and requires the phone to be repaired. Back camera works but is useless in most places. My pixel 2 held up much better. Losing the finger print scanner in these times is a real pain. Have to pull down face coverings in order to login to my phone or type the code. I'm disappointed for a $1k phone.

Huge upgrade from my pixel one xl the face unlock is so fast.

Google's maintained the standard set by the Pixel line. Not quite enough of a value add to upgrade if you've just purchased a Pixel 3/XL...but worth a look if it's been a few years since your last upgrade. GREAT Android phone for current iPhone users looking to switch due to it's clean implementation of Android and frequent updates directly from Google

This phone is easy to use; takes great pictures and is reasonably priced compared to some phones with similar features and capabilities. It is actually my 2nd one- the screen shattered on the first and I replaced it through the plan I had with a deductible, so I actually had it over a year. I liked it enough to get it again!

Regardless of any of the negative reviews, this phone is fantastic! Especially at the reduced price that you can currently find. If you have ever wanted a pixel or just want to experience pure, bloat ware free android, this is the phone for you. You can watch and read reviews all day long, or just get the phone! You won't regret it.

Generally this is a good smart phone. Lots of great features and functions. The problem I have stems from being used to my fingerprint unlock from previous generations. Now it's unlocked by your face, and it doesn't function well. I literally have to stare at it straight on to unlock, and it will randomly unlock when my face is not directly looking, when I'm not using it. The most irritating thing is the "back" function. Nearly ever app on every phone has a side swipe function, so when you try to use back swipe, it will do the apps programmed function instead of "go back". I miss my old phone, but I guess I have no choice with this being paid for now.
