Would not recommend this phone. Face recognition doesn't work efficiently, photo quality is not great, voice sometimes echoes for people on the other side of the call. I-phones are much better.

So disappointed that I missed the return day by two days...Bought this phone in February under the recommendation of a Verizon "expert" at Best Buy. It was recommended over a Samsung.....that "expert" was so wrong its not even funny. Like I said, bought Feb 15, it's now June 16, and yesterday, the 15th, happy 4 month phone day....this pile of, I can't even think of anything bad enough to describe it, pathetic excuse for a phone is THE worst purchase I've made at Best Buy...and I buy everything electronic from there. So in short...DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!! Stick with Samsung or Apple.

The phone works like a charm but I had to purchase this phone and wait to get a refund for the same phone due to a system issue. Manager was not sympathetic and treated me as if it did not matter.

Great pure android experience. But, Amazon app on this phone is somewhat slow comparing to my old oneplus phone. Not sure what's going on there. It is just not as responsive.

    Worst Phone Ever

After a little over a year with this phone I can without a doubt say that this is by far the worst phone I have ever purchased. So far I have had two RMA devices due to motherboard defects. I am attempting yet another RMA as yet again there is an issue with the motherboard. This time Google is trying to claim that it isn't covered even though their authorized repair center said it would be covered. For those curious my phones were RMA'd for the following: 1) Wouldn't charge 2) Face unlock wouldn't register a face 3) Device would randomly shut off The one star I have to give to the phone will be towards the phone when it actually worked. Many of the features were pretty cool and worked well. I do love the stock Android OS. Unfortunately it was broken more than it actually worked. If you are thinking of buying a Google Pixel phone, please reconsider. I had the original Pixel and it was great. My wife still loves her Pixel 2. I can't speak about the Pixel 3, but after that Google has stopped caring about their customers. I will be going with another manufacturer for my next phone.

In the box is the Google Pixel phone, charging cord, wall plug and usb adaptor. There are still some of the things you already know, like the delicate Google assistant. This is my first unlocked google phone and I already see that this phone is right up front with no clunky add-ons here. With a light squeeze of your hand you will be up and running.  From lunching apps to taking pictures, a squeeze is all you need. The multi camera setup is a thing of beauty, no more security footage style photos for me. With this pixel there’s face unlock feature, with the face unlock it works to memorize the pattern of your eye. So not only are you getting your face recognized, but your eyes as well. The Pixel is equipped with a 12.2-megapixel (standard), 16-megapixel (telephoto) and a 8 megapixel (front facing lens) this being said it falls in the middle of the pack, but with what can only be called wizardry. Its photo quality is is excellent, it excels in video and photos. The camera has a second lens, giving photos a DSLR- like quality, it also enhances the zoom quality of photos. The pixel having 64 or 128 GB is more than enough, especially since you can save things into a google cloud, in the cloud there is unlimited storage. The pixel camera is also super responsive, so no more missed shots. Especially with the action button feature, just hold down the shutter button and pic the best memory to hold on too. The new pixel has updated version of what it had on the other 3 phones, which is the mode called Night Sight Camera, where you -can shoot a photo in the dark without flash. This is definitely achieved due to the 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor that's on board. I know what your thinking 8 cores must cause serious battery drain, but I'm here to say that’s not the case. The 3,700 mAh battery keeps even the 6.3 Omed screen in top performance ranges. That is with impressive, 90 times per second refresh rate with a current class leading 537 ppi. The pixel phone has an 12 hour continuous battery life, but it can last up to 34 hours! The audio performance is a great proportion to the phones, there are dual embedded speakers. Keep in mind there is no headphone jack, but that gives you an opportunity to use wireless headphones. There’s also a USB-C adaptor that you can pull up your old trusty headphones and pull them in. There’s a Quick Switch Adaptor, it allows you to use any cord to charge the phone. So you could use your old phones charger to charge your new pixel 4. This is a major turning point for the out coming phones. Especially knowing this is not an entry level device(meaning that it has occasional updates to the device itself) This can be phone for an android veteran. That being said, the new passive radar is a function is amazing, I would have liked this phone a long time ago. The phone allows you use air jesters.  So no more cookie dough on your phone while following those recipes.  Just a quick swipe and you’re on to the next step. In summary the pixel being a top tier phone, has these new features. PROS: MotionSense/Very snappy response time /Sound output via Bluetooth/ Night sight camera/ Unlimited Storage/ CONS: (very little but) No thumbprint scanner/No headphone Jack

I read many reviews on this phone before I got it. Don't get turned off by all the negativity. I'm not going to jump on the "hate train". I was getting a bit worried but this is the best phone I've ever used. Getting a phone at this level, it's soo nice to have something that just works. I'm a decently heavy phone user(calls, emailing, texting, surfing the interwebs, streaming radio) and I get a whole day easy from the Pixel 4 Xl. If battery life is an issue just have a car charger and one at the office. This thing charges soo fast its really a non issue. My last phone was all screen and I loved that. I wasn't too keen on the "giant forehead" but another review said you didn't notice it after a short time. This is true. The tech that is packed in there makes it bearable. The screen is beautiful and I really love the adaptive brightness. I can see it outside and it gets super dim for when you wake up early in the morning. This screen is super sharp and colors are rich and vibrant. The always on display and "now playing" are fun features. I can't believe how fast it is. It takes seconds to start up and has handles all apps I use flawlessly. The radar and face unlock are perfect. The phone knows as you reach for it and unlocks as you pick it up. Fast! I don't miss my fingerprint scanner at all and the last one I had in the screen was terrible. I'm really looking forward to Google coming up with many more uses for the radar in the near future. The phone feels great in the hand. Comfortable and heavy. A nice premium device. Maybe the storage is a downside. Get the 128 GB, 64 goes pretty fast and I would like to have seen a sd card slot. I also don't think the lack of a headphone jack is that big of a deal. Bluetooth headsets are the way to go anyway, I hate cords. It's also amazing to have a device that is guaranteed to be supported for years to come.

This phone is a straight JOKE! The battery doesn’t last, the pictures aren’t all that good as the people getting paid to say they’re good. Trust me, they’re not that good. There is a open space that nasty things from your pocket or hands can get into. This phone should be $199.99 retail. It’s not worth the price.

All the hype made me jump ship from major competitor. overall awesome experience, too bad the hardware couldn't keep up with promised hype. Camera, meh.... only thing I really miss after dumping it was the alarm clock mated with the pixel stand. then again maybe better off without nerds watching me sleep all night without my permission

Great upgrade from Pixel xl first gen. I had and issues with mine freezing up and this didnt happen until after the 14 day best buy return policy. (go figure). Best buy wouldn allow a return or a replacement. So if you're going to make a big purchase like this dont go to best buy and make it as there return\replacement policy is a joke. I will never make the mistake again. (taking my business else where)
