I upgraded to the Pixel 5 from the Pixel 2, which I'd had for almost 4 years. The old Pixel worked mostly fine, just a little slow and the battery life was going, so I wanted to upgrade. For those of us with Google/Gmail accounts, it doesn't get easier to use a phone than a Pixel. The battery life of the 5 is AMAZING, up to two days on extreme battery saver, and the 5G does seem to help make the calls clearer and data better. The phone is a good size for those with small hands without sacrificing resolution and photo quality. Oh and it has wireless charging (I'll never go back to plugging in my phone to charge). Compared to iPhones that are almost twice the price, the Pixels are a great value for a powerful phone that has better battery longevity and systems over years.

I received this item for giving a honest review. It seems like a very nice phone out of the box ii smaller than my current phone but I like it better too. It was easy to set up and get started. I used this as my primary phone and my carrier has 5G here and was able to get a 5G signal. It was fast and make me wish I had purchased my own. All things considered it is a very good phone takes good pictures has good reception and looks nice. I would buy this for myself . This phone also came with the latest Google Software.

This is a great phone. I have had three Pixel phones now and this is the best so far. The battery life is excellent! I can easily go the whole day with regular to heavy use and still have juice left. I have no worries about going the whole day without having to top off, which was a concern with my previous Pixels. The screen is clear and vibrant and I haven't seen any performance issues even though it's not using a flagship processor. It continues to have the best camera in the business, especially with point and shoot pictures. Highly recommend for those people who want premium features in a phone without a premium price

This year's Google Pixel is not a flagship device. With the mid-range processor, it competes with more "budget devices". However it definitely has flagship performance. The Snapdragon 765 processor is more than capable. This phone is fast and does not have any lag on stock Android. Great camera as to be expected from a Google Pixel device. 8GB RAM is appreciated, allows for quick multi-tasking and speed. The device is small and not a behemoth of a device. This has GREAT battery, can expect upwards 6+ screen on time in a single day's use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone. Great value.

This phone is perfect for your everyday use. The price is great, it does what I need it to do. Camera is better than what I ever had in my personal smartphone experience. I highly recommend. I have had the most expensive phone on the market and the only difference is in price not performance. The only thing I did not like was the Google search at the bottom, because when I wanted to see all my apps that were not on home screen, you have to swipe up to see them and I would inadvertently hit the Google search bar, but since then I have learned where to swipe.

Using this phone from last 2.5 years got issue as below. Battery drain quick but reason could be multiple app running in back ground. So i can't confirm it. in sunny days can't see the display as it need to be more brighter. I placed this phone in protected case and while driving and if car ac not on. phone switch to dark mode to cool down. like dark mode for google maps. Sometimes can't hear caller until i turn on speaker.

Good phone, best for receiving timely security updates and other improvements. Unlocked means I can take it anywhere, but I'm sticking with my current carrier. Slightly smaller than Pixel 4 XL, but lighter in the hand and has great battery life. Camera seems pretty good (I'm not much of a shutterbug), Also works with my old Samsung Galaxy Buds bluetooth earbuds with no issues. Works great with that Google Pixel Stand and charges quickly--even in the Spigen case!

Sooooooo I've been wanting a pixel since the pixel 3 but never made the jump because I've been a dedicated iphone guy since the iphone 4. I had the iphone x and didn't see the hype on the new iphone for $1200. I'm not a video editor or a professional protographer. I don't need the best phone out there. Anyways I bought a he dang pixel 5 and I couldnt have been happier. It doesnt really feel like android. It's very similar to iphone in regards to thumb gestures keyboard etc. The best thing about this phone are all the little features exclusive to the pixel.phone screening, google assistant holds for you calls, you'll find them if you get the phone. Ive had this phone for 14 days and only 1 issue. When texting my wife who has iphone her texts weren't coming threw. Restarted the phone and no issues since. I really recommend this phone especially at the price point. You have all the great features you want. 90hz screen great battery sleek design AMAZING camera. And the biggest thing for me was the weight difference from the iphone it's like a feather!! Just buy it. Guarantee you will fall in love P.s. get the google pixel buds! And your still under the price of a new iphone 12 pro

I have been android user for a long time. Normally I go for the top of the line Samsung like the S20 5g which turned out to be a huge fail. Its fast, will run the latest games but had terrible issue with autofocus and could not take a clear picture and dropped wifi all the time. So now rather than looking for specs, I was looking for what is the most polished experience out that will take great photos and run great because honestly I really dont game on my phone. I need it to work, be reliable and be best camera out. Well from what I read latest Iphone and pixel 5 take best photos out and some say pixel 5 is better. All I can say is WOW. On paper if you just read specs, this seams lower end with memory compared to flag ship samsung and CPU. However the experience you get with Google Pure android is night and day difference. The Camera just works and takes some of the best photos I have ever seen. Everything is lighting fast even though specs are lower than samsung phone I came from. This is due to Samsungs UI interface is so slow and just bogs the phone down. WIFI is top notch, and the Google assistant call screening feature is a GOD SEND! Everything about this phone is amazing and I cant say really anything wrong with it. On paper I know I am missing out on top CPU and has less memory but in real life use its faster than top of the line samsungs so please try this phone you will be happy you did and this is how ALL ANDROID PHONES SHOULD BE!

Battery swelling is a likely eventuality I'll include pictures of that. The phone was laggy at times from day one. Camera quality is as good as expected but the night mode is way too slow. Battery life a little below average. A year and a half in the battery started swelling (google support should help you with that). Phone heats up extremely easily. Overall mediocre performance and great camera. Will do the job.

Can definitely tell this doesn't have a top tier precessor as the phone seems delayed at times when doing daily tasks. That said, still takes great pictures, has a nice display, and the battery life is solid. If pictures is what you care about it is definitely worth saving money compared to other brand's flagship phones. Overall good value for the price.

Android user here and 4 months in. It's way too expensive for what this is. Camera is good but not as hyped up as fanboys make it to be. Battery is excellent! Screen is too dim! Speakers are underwhelming. Screen is too dim! Size is what I convenient (coming from a Note 9!). Screen...it's too dim... Software lacks features and it's buggy. Pure android is no longer the standard for a good android experience I am sad to say. I will probably use this until the end of 2021 after the next set of Pixels, Notes, and oneplus are released but I don't recommend it.

Google has decided to ditch the high specs of other flagships, and instead take a middle of the road approach in order to make the their phones more affordable. Do not let that fool you though, as you would be hard pressed to notice unless you are a power user who pushes their device to the bleeding edge. The phone feels quick and fluid, and everything just works. Of course, you are also getting the pixels great camera as well. The camera is basically the same as the one found on the 4/4XL, though they replaced the telephoto lens with a wide angle. I do hope the next phone finally upgrades the sensor, but it certainly still one of the best camera's on the market. The phone feels solid, and the coating on the aluminum frame gives it some grip. If you want a lightweight android experience without all the bloat you get with other phones, then look no further.

I'll be upfront: I am not a phone power user. I watch a ton of youtube, browse the internet while pooping, and maybe get suckered once or twice a year with a "free" game. I bought this phone because I had a pixel 2 that finally started to get battery issues. I really like stock Android over the Samsung shell and I've never had an LG, OnePlus, etc. As for the pros, the upgrade was seamless. Swap sim, download apps, profit. The battery life has this far been incredible. 1 full day is all I hope for with a phone. I listen to spotify or podcasts for 8-10 hrs a day a work, the occasional phone call, some texts, email, and a few videos. Somehow this guy gets a day and a half. For my needs, this is the selling feature. I don't always have access to a charger and the longer I can get, the better. It's waterproof and initially durable as it still works after being dropped in a pot hole puddle. Screen looks fine as mobile youtube has never looked better. My pictures of spreadsheets have never been so clear. The size is also remarkably close to the pixel 2 so many accessories and cradles have been compatible. The cons: With a bezeless screen, it's harder for me to one handed type. The front facing camera, while not a notch, is still noticeable and sometimes makes my brain think there is something on the screen. With the screen being slightly larger, it's harder to high score frantic tapper games. If you're after an ol' reliable and are coming from an older phone, this is a great product. The battery life is stupid good, and it does everything else a normie might want to do. The price point is acceptable to me because I know what I'm getting. You won't wow your friends and you'll still be the awkward color bubble in imessage, but get past that and this looks like a phone I keep for another 3 years.

At first glance, you might think the Pixel 5 is a step back in some ways from the Pixel 4/4 XL. Technically you'd be correct on some fronts. But in actual usage, the Pixel 5 speeds along just as well and in some cases better. The camera hasn't really improved when it comes to still photography (although some would call the wide angle lens an improvement over the telephoto), but that still keeps it towards the top of the pile compared to other smartphone cameras. Video has gotten slightly better, but it still doesn't match up to its competitors. Battery life is fantastic, and in these pandemic times, the fingerprint sensor is a welcome change. If you're looking for a solid, pure Android experience with great battery life and a fantastic camera, you've found it right here.

I guess Google just did it again by keeping a low profile, sensible, user friendly and medium-high budget. I've been using this phone for almost a month now and being an average user, one who doesn't play cgi or high end games, browses the internet, WhatsApp, Facebook, slack, emails kind of guy, I'm impressed. I bought this to replace my 3 year old Pixel 2 and have been delighted by the fact that - Wow! That's an awesome battery (goes for almost 36-40hrs+, where I've seen it do a 48hrs too), excellent camera (I actually loved the pixel 2 more than 3 (my wife has that)), pleasant refresh rate, great bluetooth and 5G connectivity (Google Fi) and all the other greatness of Google. Must have actually. Could just be the most underrated, but user friendly phone!

Had this phone for about a year now and overall extremely happy with it. The battery life is still pretty great. The pictures are generally great and night sight produces some nice pictures. I got the phone for one handed operation as I loved the size of my LG G6 previously and it accomplishes that fairly well. I had to get a case as my fingers were almost constantly touching the screen giving false touches due to thin bezels. After that it was great. Downside is that even with a case my rear camera glass now has a crack going down top to bottom. It sometimes effects pictures, sometimes not. I like what I see with the Pixel 6 but the phone seems just a little too big so I'll be sticking with the Pixel 5 for a bit longer.
