Nice upgrade from a pixel 3xl

Coming from a pixel 3 xl was a huge change in the screen size and the heft of pixel 3. However, the light Pixel 5 with its long-lasting battery does not make me miss the extra screen size. The Bad recording at 60 fps in 4k tends to overheat the phone The good recording 60 fps in 4k

Great phone. I love the tactile feel of the back (not glass, almost feels like cardboard or rubber). I still feel like the rear finger-print is the best location for it. Works really flawlessly in most ways, takes great pictures, and feels great in the hand (not to big, not too small). Many reviews ding it for the under-screen speaker as the ear-piece (they say the sound quality is muffled) but I have honestly never had a complaint about it. I strongly prefer this version/skin of Android to Samsung's OneUI. AND OH MY GOODNESS THE BATTERY! This phone lasts me almost 2 days with normal use. It's great. Oh but by now you should totally not buy this phone. Get a Pixel 6, or better yet wait for the Pixel 6a or the Pixel 7 later in 2022.

I saved over $50 buying this from BestBuy instead of Verizon. Activation was a breeze using my existing Verizon account and number. It took only minutes. There was also a nice process that brought over all my apps, pictures, contacts, etc. It was simple and worked flawlessly. The phone is great. I was a little concerned about the fingerprint scanner based on some reviews I read, but I have found it too work perfectly. The screen is really nice, and also the camera is spectacular. Overall I think this is a really great phone for the price, and the purchase from BestBuy was very smooth. I was up and running within a couple hours from making this purchase, and never had to leave my house!

This was not the best phone in the market, but in the price range, it was the best. I love it because I never ran out of space due to Google's unlimited space provided to pixel users.

Upgraded from my Pixel 2 and so glad I did. While it feels and operates like the same exact phone, it's clearly new, the photos are amazing, and the finger print scanner is a must-have. Happy to grab an upgraded Pixel without it costing an arm and a leg.

Broad 4G/5G Band Coverage - Useful for Internation

I purchased this phone primarily to upgrade from 4G to 5G, and to have a phone with a wide spectrum of 4G and 5G band coverage. This phone has the widest band coverage of any that I've seen which makes it more usable for international travel and justifies (for me) the premium price. Plusses: Battery life, quick charging (and aftermarket rapid chargers that work for this phone are fairly inexpensive), storage capacity. Battery charge seems to hold up well and the rapid charging does charge rapidly. Minuses: A bit smaller screen size than what I had hoped for, for the money, single SIM (my previous phone had a dual SIM, which was great for international travel). Otherwise, the phone performs as I had expected it would. I've not run into any issues with the quality of manufacture or the functionality. Android 11 seems pretty solid.

Amazing phone for its price. It does not fall behind the expensive flagships. Great camera, even for low light photos. Very resistant body and it's not too big and doesn't make a big volume in your pocket. Working great on 5G networks.

I love this phone! It has a great camera and battery life. Small things I like, is when you go to make a call there is a search bar where you can type in a company and it will find the number. Very happy with my purchase.

Just made the switch over from Samsung Galaxy to Google, absolutely love my new Pixel 5! It has none of the stupid bloatware that Samsung carries, easy to use, great camera and easily integrates with other Google applications.

Very satisfied with this open box item from Best Buy. Item was categorized as open box - excellent. Came with original box, charger and information packets. Phone was also in brand new condition The Pixel 5 is a great phone for the money. The 90hz screen is a major plus. So far I have not been able to kill the battery in a day with extremely heavy usage. A day for me is taking off the charger at 5:30am and putting back on at 9:30pm. Don’t let the snapdragon 765 processor scare you away, even if it technically is a weaker processor compared to some other flagships. If you’re trying to save some money but still want an android phone with plenty of horsepower this is the phone for you! My only complaint is the quality of the Bluetooth audio driver. The sound is good, but is noticeably weaker/less quality compared to my iPhone

It's not the fastest phone, but the build quality is nothing to complain about. For the price as Google's flagship phone it's nice for once not to pay $900+. The hole punch camera noticeable-ness does go away after time.

This is probably the best bang for your buck android phone on the market right now, Pure Stock Android, no bloatware, fast snappy phone and overall the best point and shoot phone out there for pictures, you'll love it.

Great upgrade from Pixel 2 XL

Upgraded from my Pixel 2 XL I bought at launch. Phone's over all footprint is smaller than the XL but the screen is not noticeably smaller. It is a great phone and an improvement over the Pixel 2 XL. I do miss the ability to squeeze the phone for the Google Assistant. I never realized how much I used that until it was gone. The phone does have a "bio resin" back (plastic) and it is not aluminum like the box says. It doesn't detract any points in my book but I just wish Google was more forthcoming with that. The battery is the biggest feature for me. I can go twoish days on a charge with moderate to heavy usage. My Pixel 2 XL was a beast in this area but the 5 is just another level. Google really has the battery usage down really well.

The Pixel 5 is a really really nice phone. Fast, good battery life, zero lag, awesome camera, and the "smooth display" feature makes a really noticable difference. Also, the build feels really sturdy and you may not need a case of you only use them to protect from scratches and scuffs. The only probablem I had was the price compared to competition. There are two nearly identical Pixels out right now, the 4a and 4a 5G for a much better price. They are both missing different features - but 5g isn't too important right now, and unless you've had a fast/smooth display you won't know what you're missing out on yet. Check those two phones out first!
