I replaced a Pixel 3. I really like the 6. Vanilla Android and snappy quick. Camera is good, but telephoto is average. The flat screen is nicer than the Pro. I would prefer a slightly wider aspect ratio 2:1 would be better.

Pretty fancy phone compared to the Pixel 2 - Still working on learning the phone - cameras are MUCH improved! Charging the phone is HORRIBLE! Takes a LONG time for it to be charged full, but battery life thus far is pretty awesome!

This phone was definitely a bang for buck Android device. 90hz screen makes screen swiping buttery smooth. The camera and battery life is definitely its strengths. Occasionally with a lot of background apps open, I will notice a small stutter during transitions from app to app. Overall, very happy with this device for its price point.

I've use iphone for a ling time then moved to android and never looked back. Ive always liked the google software and how easy it is to use. I always told myself if google pixel only had a samsung hardware it would be perfect. This one feels like it finally is. With all the new features of the android 12 thia is almost perfect. The only problem is the finger print scanner. Didnt figure out 'til a few days later that you kinda have to press down firm for it to read well. I used a samsung s20 fe for a few monhs before this ànd yhe finger print scanner on that worked well without pressing firmly and you get a face unlock aswell. If only pixel 6 at least have a better working finger print reader or at least pair it with dace unlock like the s20 fe. This would be 5 star perfect

Works very well with no problems so far. Nice camera and very similar interface as other Android phones. Bought the unlocked version and it came with a Verizon 5G sim card. The Verizon locked version was much more for some reason. 6 months later and battery life is excellent.

Pixel 6 major flaws

I've used Samsung for a long time, my last phone until now has been a Galaxy S8+ (Just so you can see what I am comparing the 2021 Pixel 6 with)
The pixel feels good on your hand and has the basic functions but lacks major functions that make a phone stand up. All the reviews show and talk how nice the phone is, the camera specs and the chip but none of them mention a lot of important information.
The lack of a separate sound app, the ability of turning off your phone from the lock screen without asking for your password, the sys UI crashes, the pixelated photos that won't refresh until you exit the photo app, the settings button that was added all the way to the bottom of the notification window, the sudden crashes of YouTube red when using Android Auto, the easily scratch screen (literally I've been putting it in a cloth pouch and it's scratched), the annoying square that appears around the front camera when the sun hits the screen directly (I use my phone outside unlike all the YouTube reviewers), the "charging rapidly" problem that won't allow me to fastcharge my pixel 6 using my old fastcharge gear, and the worse of them all, not been able to mirror my screen to any of my smarts TVs just because they do not have Chromecast and they use a different technology for it like Miracast or Intel's WiDi.
These are the main reasons why I'll be changing my phone to a Samsung phone. I did give this phone a try but unfortunately the Google pixel 6 was a total let down. I am a loyal Google customer but their phones are nothing special.

Honestly, the biggest issues that I'm having is probably software issues. Mostly due to the fact that when I'm closing applications, it's having a hard time. Same with the fingerprint scanner.

I really like this phone. I used LG phones for a few years, but when the company decided to stop making phones, I didn't know what to get. My LG G7 had not received updates since 2020, the battery ran down quickly, and the apps didn't work right anymore. I'd tried Samsung, but they come with a lot of bloatware and are really expensive. While at Best Buy looking for a replacement, the salesperson suggested I look at the Pixel 6. He had one and let me see his. It looked good and was on sale for $500. I was so impressed with his phone, I decided to get one for myself and am really glad I did. The battery stays charged for a long time, recharges quickly, and comes with very little bloatware. I don't take a lot of pics so am not sure about that feature, but everything I do use, works really well. In fact, I'm already planning on getting another when this one wears out.

The pixel 6 is my first Google phone. It has been the best phone I've owned. Battery life is great; you need to allow a couple of days for the phone to learn your usage. Once it does, you will notice longer battery life. With the redesign, bigger battery and 90hz screen. It was a no brainer for me.

Everything is really good on this phone. Haptics, camera, screen. Battery could be a little better, but still really good. Design is beautiful. The spigen clear case shows it off really well.

Excellent camera quality and fantastic battery life! Just have to give it a week to settle down. The display does have some problems but my unit didn't just be on the lookout for green tint issues

It's too early to pass final judgement but over all my experience has been good. We Pixel 6 buyers are early adopters of a new processor running a new OS with a new UI. Experiences free of problems are too much to expect. Despite this and issues reported early on, including Google's mistakes, I'm less apprehensive about Pixel 6 after the first month of use. Except for the fingerprint reader, which has 'lowest bidder' written all over it.
Supply and demand for Pixel 6 has been a roller coaster. One morning Best Buy is out of stock, later the same day they were back in stock in all three colors. Received mine three days after ordering. Five stars for Best Buy.

The pixel 6 is great especially for the price. With the new tensor processor from Google the phone has a nice speed to it. I finger print scan isn’t the best but it still works most of the time.

This is a great phone for the price! The battery life could be a bit better but the camera and the display is great. I was worried about not having the option for extra storage and headphone jack but I was able to purchase a headphone jack adapter for less than $10 and I have a ton of apps and pics on my phone and I'm not even close to hitting my storage limit. The only thing I didn't like was that the camera is not flush with the phone but I was able to get a case for my Pixel which solved the problem. I've only had the phone for a few months but so far so good!

Always been a fan of Google's software. However, their Pixels never quite had the hardware to match it. Until now, that is. The Pixel 6 is incredibly fast for any day-to-day uses, with a solid battery, and the trademark camera. Love the whole package, finally seems like a complete flagship.
