I not an Apple guy and this phone is the best direct from Google. The camera is incredible but the interaction with my accounts on different devices is great and they are constantly updating the operating system.
You should consider this phone (or the newer model) if you have never thought about Google phones. I didn't have it on my radar until I ran over my LG (which I loved) and needed a replacement. I looked at the usual Android suspects and this one stood out even though I didn't even know anyone who had one. A leap of faith that rewarded me well! And I forgot to mention great battery life.

Great phone for the price. The camera (combination of the hardware and software) in my opinion is handsdown the best. Besides the great icture quality, AI features in the camera is not just amazing but actually useful.
Can do better with battery life and finger print reader (which lags a little more than it should even for this price)

The Pixel 6 is a great smartphone overall with a top tier camera, good performance, build quality, and battery life. What differentiates it from other Android phones is the custom Google software and features, allowing the Android OS to shine without the clutter and frustrating design choices of other Android vendors. The weakest point of the phone is the fingerprint reader, which has been fairly consistent for me, but on the slower end. The size may also be a turn off for those who don't like larger devices or have smaller hands.

The Google Pixel 6 is a solid device and, one could argue, the best device yet from the company. It has a unique design with the camera visor, takes outstanding pictures, and is smooth and plenty fast for most any task a user would throw at it. The new Tensor chip is almost as fast as the Snapdragon 888 on competing devices. The chip allows for contextual input and it does an amazing job here. If you own a Google device, hands free operation is excellent.
Is it my favorite Pixel device? Honestly, no. I actually prefer the previous Pixel 5. Why? While the build quality on the 6 is arguably better, it is a boxy and heavy device. The back returns to glass, whereas the more midrange 5 has a metal back covered with a textured plastic. I prefer the simpler design of the 5. I prefer the fact it is a much lighter phone and, therefore, more comfortable to use. I also prefer the rear fingerprint sensor on the 5, which works flawlessly. The in-screen scanner on the 6 is mediocre. It works most times but can be finicky.
At a $599 price point for the 128gb model, however, you won't find a better value. I give the Pixel 6 a four star rating.

After having mostly Samsung phones and one iphone, I wanted to try something new and I love this phone. The battery life is pretty great, camera takes excellent photos and I love the interface. As this phone has been getting older, I have noticed a slight decline in battery life but with power saving mode I've had no issues. Definitely would recommend this phone to someone looking for something reliable and someone looking for a good camera.

The new Pixel 6 finally delivers the "umph" we've all been waiting for. Coupled with its hardware and mpressive new suite of features in Android 12, the phone really shines.
The hardware is a step up from previous Pixel phones. Seems like Google finally took the time to deliver what we've always wanted. The battery is exceptional, lasting a while day of use with still some left in the bank. The camera has many added new features that makes taking pictures a joy. The design makes holding the phone feel perfect on the hands.
Why 4 stars then? It's the fingerprint reader. That's the only complaint I have. From what I've read, it seems to be a prominent issue amongst many. I'd say the fingerprint reader works about 75% to 85% of the time on the first try. Even if it works, there's a delay of about 1 to 1.5 seconds where the phone finally unlocks. It may not seem like a long time, but it's definitely noticeable when using.
All in all, for the price, it's an absolute steal of a phone. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

On the exterior, the sorta seafoam glass color is a look. With the subtle two-tone that's iconic with this line of Pixels, the primary material reminds me of a soft jade color. I wish I didn't have to cover mine up with a folio case because I really love the visual appeal of the back.
Soon after unboxing this device, I had it with me at a wedding, where I took photos that absolutely blew everyone away! They came out looking professional and stunning, especially when the subject is close-up. After showing off the pics, it actually convinced two guests at the wedding to buy the Pixel 6 when they got back home.
Despite having lower speed benchmarks than the high end Samsung and Apple flagships, the real-life usage of its apps was considerably speedy, a noticeable boost from my Pixel 3XL I had previously.
I do have strong positive and negative feelings about the fingerprint reader. On one had, they've designed an almost fun experience when the on-screen sensor lights up your thumb like an E.T. finger, and it makes in-app biometric verification feel like a just another tap of a button. However, there have been a rare instances where it doesn't accept my finger for the unlock the first time, which can be very annoying.
Overall I'm having fantastic experience using all the new functions this device has to offer, from photo editing to language processing by the tensor chip. I've already wow'ed some die-hard iPhone fans.

It's been about 3 years now with this phone and I have zero complaints the camera quality is better than my girls iPhone and she got the newst one!!!! That plus it's super easy to use and has a great feel for it. I definitely think its one of the best phones I've ever had and I'm definitely getting the 8. I didn't get the 7 because this one is still kicking butt!!!

I upgraded from a Pixel 3A phone. This phone is fast. The screen is beautiful and colorful. Battery life is great. The camera is excellent. There's not much more you could ask for. It'd be nice to have a telephoto lens and the fingerprint sensor can be a bit finicky, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better value high end phone.

If you're buying a Pixel, you're probably watching some tech YouTubers like I did.
Anyways, it's a solid phone. Great cameras, good screen, and generally fast with no lag. Battery life is pretty decent and can get you through an entire day.
That being said, Pixels are known for some bugs pretty frequently. The OS has gotten a bunch of big fixes that make it great to use with no bugs. The only thing that's buggy for me is Hold my Call and Direct My Call smart features, which will not stop downloading after 2+ days.
Beside that, everything else is great so this ends up as a 4-star review. After they fix that, then I will give them a five star.

Nice phone but lacking on the fingerprint reader. I switched from a Galaxy S10+ with the ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The Galaxy fingerprint reader worked so much easier than the in display optical reader of the pixel 6. All aspects of the Pixel are great. The battery life, picture quality, smoothness of the OS. Only reason I give a 4 star instead of 5 star review is the fingerprint reader. When working I normally find myself trying to scan my finger with enough incorrect times it asks me to enter the unlock code instead. When trying to use wireless pay, it gets annoying if you can't quickly scan your finger to pay. I would actually return this phone and go back to my S10+ if Best Buy wouldn't charge a high restocking fee.

This is my first Pixel phone and it is a good one at that. Google has done a good job making the phone easy to use and is solid with their new Tensor chip. The camera quality is one of the best and the best one at this price point. The UI is easy to navigate. I never had an issue with the call quality. The only thing is that connection to the mobile service and to internet is sometimes not the best. Speed for some of the applications are not as quick as it is on other phones. Other than that, it is a wonderful phone to use.

I love this phone, stock android at it's best! Love the fingerprint reader being under the screen, the camera is the best in the business, and the battery had no problem lasting all day with moderate use.
Also, this is absolutely the best phone you can buy for $600 or less.

The Pixel 6’s display is solid, and plenty sharp at 1,080 x 2,400. The AMOLED panel is a pleasure to look at, and it’s bright enough for outdoor use. A 60-90Hz refresh rate successfully keeps everything feeling smooth. It’s not as fast or versatile as the 120Hz displays with wide variable refresh rates showing up on the market, though those displays are almost all reserved for the higher tiers like the iPhone 13 Pro or Galaxy S21 Ultra. Google fitted a fingerprint scanner underneath the display, and it works surprisingly well compared to others I’ve used, though it’s still not lightning fast.

This is Google's best Pixel, IMO. They addressed most of the concerns from previous models. Battery life, price, high-end specs, and design..they nailed it. For $599, with pure Android experience without bloatware and exceptional camera..they did it.

it gets hot when its being used, and could not receive call when it is hot as well. Good photos. Too heavy and the way it is made, the camera bar is at the upper back, if you put it on am arm chair, the gravity pulls it down and it just falls down due to being heavy.

I decided that I needed to upgrade my nearly four-year old Motorola G6 and preferred to stick with an Android phone rather than go with Apple. After much reading and researching, I decided to give the Pixel 6 a try. I thought the Pixel 6 Pro was a bit too large and I didn't want to wait around for the 6A.
I purchased my Pixel 6 from Best Buy, getting it on sale and by use of some of my Rewards points, specifying it for use on the T-Mobile network. The phone came very promptly to my home and I took it to a local T-Mobile store (much closer to my home than my local Best Buy--which I have used in the past for phone setup when I was with Sprint and never had a complaint) to make sure it was properly up (since I'm not exactly a techie).
So far I've been very happy with the Pixel 6 and with the 5g signal I've been using with T-Mobile. The phone itself is a little bit larger than my old G6 and a tad heavier, but not significantly so. The screen resolution and colors are quite nice; I chose to use a liquid screen protector rather than a physical screen protector and I've been pretty happy with it (my fingerprints are not nearly as noticeable).
Battery life is quite good (though I do tend to keep it plugged in while driving at in my office), but I am by no means a power user, gamer, or downloading a lot of videos. Network speed has been quite good with no complaints and connecting to local hotspots or the wi-fi in my built-before-wireless-was-a-thing workplace hasn't been a problem at all.
The camera has, so far, been easy to use, though I haven't tried out the Eraser feature that has been ported over from the 6a model. Resolution looks quite good.
I matched the phone up with a SaharaCase GRIP and have been quite happy with it, since it gives a needed "grippiness" to the phone that was a tad on the slippery side.
The Pixel 6 was certainly a bit more expensive than my old Motorola G6, but it's still less than a comparable Samsung or Apple and I doubt I'd notice any real difference given my way of using it.

I do not know how good this phone is long term, since I just got it, but short term it is amazing. One of the best - if not the best - camera phones out there, easy to use, slick design, awesome features, fantastic quality over all, bluetooth connects fast and it does not lag.
The only downside is the battery and the keyboard. But definitely not deal breakers, since over all it is still way better than it's competitor that also costs twice as much!
Last but not least, big shout out to the amazing Ralph Ramirez for making my day, for truly valuing me as a human first and then as a customer. I was rushing it, I was lost, I needed a phone ASAP, and he really delivered.
