Great phone, pros outweigh the cons
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is buttery smooth in speed. The AI is fun to mess around with like the magic eraser or instant voice to text. A few things should be noted though. The security on the pixel 6 might be too advanced for its own good. Google is forceing greater network security in its latest update. Which means you can't connect to Wifi from super dated wifi. One such issue to connecting to the Common University campus wifi called Eduroam. So UNIVERSITY STUDENTS BEWARE. The second con is more of a suggestion, the inscreen finger print reader is not my favorite thing. Make sure to get a screen protector that works with the finger print reader.

Amazing phone for a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is simply amazing. It can handle many apps at a time and the performance is excellent. I am looking forward to getting the new Pixel to see how they can top this one

A few glitches, but overall enjoyable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice phone, I bought it after a recommendation from my cousin. I got the color sorta seafoam, with a clear case (which there are limited case options, so I'm glad it's a nice color). The main issues that are happening is it doesn't get as good of reception as my last phone, it drops calls more often than I am used to with the same provider. It will also randomly make a long buzzing noise in the middle of calls anywhere from 5 seconds to a minute which is very inconvenient, but I do not know what is causing it. It takes nice photos, and has a lot of tools many phones do not. You can set alarms to play Spotify playlists which has made it easier to wake up. It also has an option to screen calls through google, and has been giving me warnings for potential spam which my last phone never did. The only other negative is the thumb sensor is very picky about the position and amount of time you have to leave your finger on it to unlock.

Great phone at great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google flagship beats it all. Purchased for my wife and so far enjoyed a lot. The standout features for me are the camera and design. It takes such stunning pictures even at low light, completely blown me away. Also, the design is a hit for me,it looks absolutely distinct in this era of identical looking phones. The only bottom side for me is the fast charging. Would have expected a faster charging time from a flagship

Superb and awesome phone great for value and perfo
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off saying that the pixel 6 is an outstanding device and a great deal for money having previous pixels like the 5 an 4xl nothing tops this I also want to start out saying it might not be for some people but I am getting about a day or more out of the battery the design takes some getting used to but after you do the performance an the shape about the phone grows on you definitely will recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a flagship phone without breaking the bank

A Great Phone with a few issues....
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: + Camera with Google Ai optimizations/processing makes pics look amazing...for most part. + Butter smooth UI experience. + Best phone to get to feel assure of great support & updates. + Android 12 + 1080P 90hz OLED is fluid n colorful. + Speakers sound Good. + WIFI 6e Support Negatives: + Battery. It isnt terrible but seems to last only around 8-9hrs in my usage. though there is settings to improve this a lil bit like disabling 5G. + Display brightness. While colors look nice OLED, its a lil bit dimmer than i would like. (if want a bright vibrant phone, stick to samsung/Oneplus phones imo) + Camera at Night/low natural light. While google AI fixes this issue with the AI processing (impressively) after taking pictures, the cameras seem to have noticable noise/haze (pre snap). a bit of a turn off and google AI processing dosent carry over to other APPs that you may use selfie camera for example on google duo voice chatting somebody. ^ Only three issues for me. Camera & Battery issues will surely get better with Google great support with frequent updates and overall the Tensor CHIP through andriod 12 learning to Improve on the matter.

Getting there, but not ready other than camera
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 1st Google phone. Bought because of price and because Google has least bloatware of all major us brands. Did not like it at 1st at all. But after changing some settings and getting used to it, will probably go back to Google around pixel 10ish, when they are making own chips and kinks start getting figured out after 1st gen of them. I believe looks like pixel 9 may have 1st in house chips, if so the 10 should be when I leave Samsung for good and go pixel

Quirky!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this phone a few months. Its snappy, with good reception. I fund the screen not as sharp as say Samsung, and the battery seems very sensitive. Sometimes it will charge and them drain very quickly while getting quite hot while charging. Other times it is fine. The design is unique and the camera is decent. I guess I woul term this phone 'quirkly'

Good value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a phone with a good camera, decent battery life, and update protection for a few years. The camera is great, but the phone feels a little off balanced without a case. The battery has been good so far, but I hope it improves by following my habits. The sound quality is great and the new Android features are surprisingly useful. I do wish casting was a little easier without a chrome device.

A bit too big, poor fingerprint sensor imho
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid phone. Great build and feel to it. The bezels are a little noticeable and not as sleek as the Pixel 6 Pro. The screen is very nice but the on screen fingerprint sensor is slow and often it takes 2-3 attempts to unlock the phone. Too bad because it is in a rather good location. The camera is as good as they were on my Pixel 1, 3 and 4a. Very solid with mediocre zoom ability. The phone is not good for one handed use. After 4 days with it I popped out my SIM card and went back to my Motorola Razr 5G for better one handed use and the ability to fit the phone comfortably in my pocket. I will gift the Pixel 6 to a relative for the holidays. He seems to have huge hands. No joke.

DISAPPOINTED
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVED my Pixel 3XL but disappointed in the 6. The fingerprint sensor STINKS!! The 3XL worked on the first try every time. This one rarely reads my print and I have 3 prints installed. It was also much easier having in on the back. Very easy to know EXACTLY where to touch just by feel. Pick up the 3XL with your finger on the sensor and it is open already when you look at the phone. And, with no back "arrow" on the 6 it is much harder to get out of some things. I love Pixel over iPhone but PLEASE go back to some features on the 3XL that were MUCH better! Display, camera and battery are good on the 6 but they were good on the 3XL too.

Good phone closer to potential with March Update.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is the tool for my use. The size of the screen makes texting much easier than on a Pixel 4a. Placing the cursor for an edit is easy. Not so on 4a. The phone features are really appreciated. The phone does well at managing Robo and Spam calls. It will allow you to intervene if you think it is appropriate to take the ? call. Android 12 is feature -rich and the Pixel 6 takes advantage of them. The March update cured many of the issues mentioned on the web. Happy with the purchase.

Excellent camera, great display quality!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted the Sorta Seafoam unlocked version, and while they didn't have it in stock it was a quick wait for the phone to be delivered to my door. The light color above the camera is a lot brighter than I anticipated from the web image. This phone is quite a bit larger than my former Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, but so far it hasn't been an issue, and I have appreciated some of the added text it allows in various apps. I am loving the new camera and features!

I wanted to love it but Tensor is a non-starter
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love this phone because I prefer stock Android, but no matter how many cool commercials Google makes: 1) Magic eraser is just not that great. Nothing like what you see on the commercial. You will get serious blur where the object was. 2) No face unlock, and a bad fingerprint reader. 3) This is the big one: with all the fanfare regarding the tensor chip, it is not flagship level. So what you are getting is midrange performance for an "almost-flagship" price. It cannot compete with the big boys. So, while the camera is good (but they definitely dropped behind both Apple and Samsung) and the Android experience is excellent, it's not worth the price.
