Classic Google Pixel experience, except this time with premium hardware to match the plethora of features that come alongside the Pixel lineup. My only complaints are its average battery life, how slippery the phone is, and Google support which can be hit or miss.

Excellent phone. Great screen, great cameras. Getting the pure Android experience is way better than getting the "customized" (read: crapware) Android phones from other manufacturers, and none of the trash the cell companies add. The phone is fast and responsive, and I can easily use it one-handed, thanks to using my thumbprint as an unlock tool. I easily get two days out of the battery. The only complaint is having the power button on the same side as the volume buttons, which makes it tricky taking screenshots.

What can I say? This is a great phone! For me, choosing an Android phone meant choosing only a Pixel. This one is a huge step up from my first Pixel (the first one introduced, which Ive had since 2016) and even from the Pixel 5, which my husband replaced his own Pixel 1 with. The camera is true to the Pixel excellent reputation. Call quality is clear and connectivity is transparent, especially when having to switch to wifi calling, which is the only way to call when we are out of cell service upstate but have wifi.

I have my new Google -Pixel 6 Pro. The picture quality and clarity is awesome. The added features are user-friendly. However, I do not like the fact taht to restart and shutdown the phone one has to hold down both the power button and the volume up button at the same time and pray to God that it works. What happened to the good o'le days one just taps the power button and the options buttons of restart, shotdown etc pop up? Something really needs to happen to address this grave inconvenience.

Disclaimer: I have gone cold turkey from a Samsung to a Pixel First of all, the camera and camera audio is great, and the general feel of the UI and phone is sleek. But, the screen is either not sensitive enough or too sensitive at a lot of points - especially after adding a screen protector. And horizontal app navigation is difficult with the side-swiping "back" functionality which is very different from my previous phone. I had A LOT of trouble with setup to my provider at the start, and I have noticed my 5G connection cuts out frequently. Far more frequently than ever with my old phone with the same provider. That is why I'm giving it a pretty lack-luster review.

The phone is great overall. Hold battery well and the back camera is wonderful. That being said the front facing camera leaves something to be desired. It is very grainy and forget about using the nightsight feature, the picture will look pixelated and blurry.

If you are an Android fan, this phone is for you. I tried the iPhone 13 prior to this and I found the Pixel phone to be just as fast as the iPhone. I have found the fingerprint reader to be a pain. It works correctly about 60 % of the time, this is after the January update. Photos are excellent and it has a built-in spam blocker for calls. I haven't had any screen issues as reported by other users. Overall, the performance and features overcome the issue with the fingerprint reader.

For most Android users, switching from an older Pixel to this phone would feel like day and night. It's an absolute joy to hold the phone in your hands, however, you definitely need a case because this is one of the slipperiest phones I've ever held in my hands. The optical fingerprint scanner does its job (it's not great, but maybe a couple of software updates ought to improve its performance). Battery life is average. Camera is stellar. Certainly a good phone for its price point.

I love this phone and haven't experienced a lot of the negative things that people say about it. I get all day battery life with the adjustment of some settings and I added 2 fingerprints of the same finger so I don't have to many issues with the fingerprint reader and the bootloader is unlocked and it's got 5g mmWave and sub 6 and I use dual sim with Verizon and TMobile.
