The worst fingerprint reader I've ever used

This phone has the worst fingerprint sensor I've ever seen. I've exhausted my efforts, all of the fixes online are either extremely temporary or simply do not work at all. I have registered the same fingerprint multiple times, and the phone still almost never recognizes my fingerprint. The bottom line is that this phone has a fingerprint sensor that is not functional. This is such a critical feature for Google to get right, since it is the thing you will be doing every time you use your phone. I've previously owned the Pixel 3 and 4a, and I never had this issue with those. What happened, Google? We'd all rather have a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone that works than one under the glass that doesn't work at all.

I switched from a iPhone 13 Pro Max which is also a great phone. Comparing the two both devices take wins in certain cases but overall are close in every category. Android finally feels polished enough to live with and has way more usable features than iOS. Notifications in particular are just plain better and more useful. Overall glad I gave it a shot!
