First time Pixel user here and was surprised there was a bit more of a learning curve than I expected, despite being very familiar with Google products and the Google ecosystem. However, the phone is loaded with helps for newbies. And while this doesn't have all the highest end featuers (90mhz refresh instead of 120mhz, for example), this is probably the best value for the money in the Pixel 7 lineup so far. Have loved the phone so far - not too small and not too big, bright colorful screen (although you may have to turn up the brightness by a significant amount in direct sunlight)... and its a flat screen, unlike the Pro that has slightly curved edges which is more of a personal turn off. Excellent integration with Google Assistant and tons of Pixel-exclusive features make this phone super handy beyond just calling and texting. The face ID is super quick, but the finger print reader (which is what the phone uses for biometrics) can be difficult at times, especially if you are using a tempered glass/plastic screen protector so utilize the Screen Protector Mode in the display settings to help. Coming from Apple and a long history with Samsung phones, I have been really happy with the phone and I may have just become Team Pixel for life.

Pretty Average phone. I had to make an upgrade from my previous phone and this is one is nice but my main gripe about it is the thumbprint reader. I have been locked out of so many apps due to this fingerprint reader not wanting to work its frustrating especially when my previous phone which was over five years old did it fine every time. I would Say if that feature doesn't matter its a great phone if that feature does matter I would get something else. Other than that the battery and everything else works just as it should and the camera takes some pretty good pictures

i would say that its the best phone you can buy at this price. The camera's are very good, the battery life was good, the built quality and display quality were so good. i couldn't complain about a single thing about the phone. It would have been nice if google included charger in the box. i bought one separate.

Great upgrade over the Pixel 6!

I upgraded to a Pixel 7 from a Pixel 6. Although there are marginal improvements in terms of hardware, the Tensor 2 processor is definitely faster than its predecessor. The pixel 7 also has face unlock, which was missing in the pixel 6. The battery life is great as well, and although I'm not too much into aesthetics, the Pixel 7 definitely looks better, is slightly smaller and thinner, and is about 5% lighter in weight. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, considering the $480 trade in credit for the pixel 6.

Probably the best value smartphone there is, display could be brighter, can be dim in high sunlight. But battery life is more than enough phone plenty fast and the pixels smart features are 2nd to none

Great phone for the average user. Budget friendly, good camera - though wish it had a bit more macro focus range on it. Oh - it also needs the ability to cast/mirror to a TV like Samsung. Would be nice to share photos on screen that way. But as far as daily driver - no problems. I'd buy it again.

BYE SAMSUNG -> HELLO PIXEL 7

My wife was using a S22+ I bought her in May because she has been using Samsung since the S8. Anyway It was her phone but it was getting on my nerve (go figure). She would come home and tell me "please fix my phone". My line of work isn't tech support... Mostly she was dealing with texting lag or not receive them at all.. The last straw was we went on a vacation in August, she has had her s22+ for about 3 months and it just wouldn't "super charge" anymore. Hours later talking to Samsung going no where to finally tell us we would have to send the phone in for diagnostic, wow a few months with this phone and $999. Prior that she was an iPhone user, had the 4s and 6s plus. Threw those in the garbage. I told my wife I was tired of her Samsung phones and I would look into the pixel 7 once it comes out but she would have to stick with her s22+ until then.. Anyway, pre-order the pixel 7 256GB, got $670 trade in value for s22+ and a $100 gift card and told my wife "let's cut our loses with this s22+ and i''ll cover the rest. My wife has been using the pixel since and she couldn't be any happier and she said the camera quality is great, better than the s22+, can't even compare. Everything else is pretty much as you would expect from a pixel phone = NO MORE BLOATWARE. I honestly thought the battery of the pixel 7 was going to disappoint because of the bad reviews of the pixel 6 battery and it is a bit smaller than the s22+ but so far so good. She charged it full Sunday morning at about 8:30am, it is now Monday 11:50pm and it still has 17% of battery.

I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The build quality was perfect, the performance is top-notch, and the clean base install allows these to shine without the bloatware present on android phones from some non-google manufacturers to bog it down.

This is my 3rd Google Pixel. It is very easy to learn and use. The camera features are the best. The negative is trying to find accessories for the phone as most are for Samsung or Apple. Price for the phone is almost always less expensive than Apple or Samsung.

I really love this phone, it's solid, it's fast, it's got a super camera, long, long battery life and fast charging. Previous phone was a Pixel 2xl which I loved but the 7 is way better.

Pixel's AI features are second to none. Still photography is also praise worthy. While the phone is not "perfect", it does most things right and fits my needs very well. I've used Pixel 3 before and switched to an iPhone to try out iOS. Have been waiting for the Pixel 7's release to switch back to the Pixel. While the iPhone is a good phone, I found Pixel's stock Android more resourceful than iOS, at least for my needs. My only gripe so far is that the battery life could have been better. It's decent for a normal day use, but if you're a power user, expect it to drain out by evening. For most people, it should be ok.

I've never owned a Google phone prior to buying the Pixel 7. Having owned it for 3 weeks now I do really like the phone but I personally dislike how slow the phone charges compared to the other big flagship phones. And also how hot the phone can run, I sometimes can even feel it through my phone's case so the other reviews and complaints that other owners were talking about it true. Camera is really good that's probably the best thing about the phone but the functionality is also really good so overall it's a solid enough phone for me.

I like the Google Pixel 7 and the features that it has. I am disappointed in the battery life. I set all the features as I was advised by the support person and still only get about 12ish hours of charge time. One of the reasons I got a new phone was for a better battery. I am also disappointed that I can't add storage with a micro SD card. I do like the camera and the features it has. I don't think some of them work as well as advertised though. Based on these things I would probably purchase a different phone if I had to do it over again.

My Pixel 7 is an ok phone. It does all the phone things well. It's easy to use, except for the fingerprint scanner in the screen. It runs every app I use well. The battery life could certainly be better, but it isn't horrible. The camera is great andit tales good photos and video. I have had the phone for about 3 or 4 months so I have had a decent amount of time using the phone. Overall, I would buy the phone again, I just wish the battery lasted longer.
