As a set they are pretty cool. But each device is missing some pretty standard features that devices at half the cost have standard. The phone has a very complicated process for turning on the flashlight. It is ridiculous. The battery is horrible. Otherwise it is pretty cool.

I now have to power down the device to charge it. Research shows that this was an active choice by Google to force owners to replace their existing chargers with Google branded ones.

Having issues sending and receiving texts, especially group texts. Disappointed with software glitches and difficulty finding settings. Prefer my old Samsung. Calls are great though.

If your thinking of switching from samsung to pixel, there are only slight differences in the interface, the biggest on being navigation (back, home, switch apps) they are gesture based vs having dedicated touch points, but its intuitive and quick to pick up.

Those issues now seem to have been corrected on the Pixel 7. Screen is much brighter, and the input lag is no longer a problem. The fingerprint reader feels a little quicker too.

On my pixel 6, at some point the touch feedback would be gone. The touch feedback here is great ans consistent.
