I prefer the volume on one and the power on the other. I had a slide pop socket and it doesn't work on this phone because the buttons are too low on one side. I didn't want a permanent one because I can't adjust for how I am holding the phone.

Plus it was on sale so, that made it even more of a great deal. However, the phone was unable to read and detect my international/roaming sim card. I tried everything I could find online to troubleshoot but I was unsuccessful. I also read some posts that even local (US) sim cards are having issues. It was just frustrating that I had to shell out $45 of restocking fee even if I was having issue with the phone itself.

This seems like a steal of a deal for a smartphone nowadays, especially such a new one. Had to upgrade after the battery on my last phone wouldn't hold a charge. Switched from iPhone - very happy with the switch

Build quality, screen, camera, everything is great. I was even surprised it has a face recognition along with fingerprint sensor so one can choose any auth method to use. My elderly mom is very happy with the phone.

About 6 months in, the phone basically bricked with a corrupted motherboard. Thankfully it was still under warranty and the motherboard was replaced but obviously being without your primary phone for multiple days is not ideal. Since we got it back, my wife has had performance issues and we are finally replacing it on a trade-in deal with Google, less than a year after purchasing it.
