Customers are saying

Customers regard the Pixel 7a 5G 128GB (Unlocked) highly for its excellent camera quality, impressive battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the screen size and find it offers great value for the price. While some users miss the headphone jack and note occasional heating issues, the positive feedback on the camera and overall performance outweighs these concerns. The phone's design and smooth refresh rate are also frequently praised.

I ordered an Excellent Condition - Open Box Pixel 7a from Best Buy, expecting a like-new device. Instead, I received a phone with heavy scratches, far from "excellent" condition. I needed this phone urgently for my daughter, so I had no time to return or exchange it, but this was extremely frustrating. Best Buy should be more transparent and ensure better quality control. If you’re considering an open-box purchase, be prepared for surprises!

Too early to tell. Is there a Pixel 7A "101 course" available? If so, I sure need it. Donald Perrotti

THE WORST CELL PHONE EVER !!!

I needed a new phone. I did a deep dive research on cell phones priced under $500.00. Anybody and everybody that had something to say or wrote a review - The Google Pixel 7a Phone was (is) NUMBER ONE on the list. To say some reviews are a tad over the top falls short. WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CELL PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED. In fact, I exchanged the first one. I am going to Best Buy to return the second cell phone. Call quality - WHATS THAT ? NEVER EVER WILL I BUY A PIXEL PHONE. IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT GOOGLE SEARCH IS OFFICIALLY USELESS. AND THERE PIXEL 7a cell phone is 100% CRAP - PARDON MY LANGUAGE BUT, I CALL IT THE WAY I SEE IT.

Purchase Date 7/24/2023, Review Date 8/6/23 absolutely NOT impressed with phone's ability to play nice with Android Auto. Time researching workarounds/specialized settings ='s NOT plug-N-play. Not impressed with staff's ability to highlight device weaknesses. Who knows, maybe they could have sold me up to something with less downside. Battery life poor. Google's optimization settings maze-worthy. Doubt Joe customer could prove he received a factory lemon battery. Using time w/AccuBattery diagnostic app time (and power) consuming.

DO NOT OPT FOR THE PHONE TRADE-IN!! The department is so poorly managed that they can lose the phone after it's confirmed arrival and then deny paying the trade-in value because they can't find the phone. I have delivery confirmation proof it was delivered but they say it isn't their fault they can't find it (porch pirates in the department, perhaps?) so they don't need to pay the trade-in. Horrible business practice and customer service.

With the Pixel 7a, I feel like I am getting a premium experience for a much lower price point. It has many features that are found in flagship and other more expensive smartphones. Some of the major upgrades for the Pixel 7a include the Google Tensor G2 processor that can handle even the most demanding of tasks, such as gaming, video editing, and multitasking along with implementing the Titan M2 security chip. These so far these chips have only been available in the high-end Google smartphones. You also get a version of the advanced Pixel Camera that is capable of great photos including nighttime photographs. The Pixel 7a has a clean and functional design that is nice to hold, sturdy looking and nice to look at. It comes along with a long-lasting battery that for me lasts an entire day. The display refresh rate is great – giving smooth screen changes. It would be nice if it had more memory / storage – more than the 128G it comes with. This could be done with fixed internal storage or an SDcard type slot. It would also benefit with having a headphone jack. Charging is on the slower side compared to its flagship cousins.
