Customers are saying

Customers regard the Pixel 7a 5G 128GB (Unlocked) highly for its excellent camera quality, impressive battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the screen size and find it offers great value for the price. While some users miss the headphone jack and note occasional heating issues, the positive feedback on the camera and overall performance outweighs these concerns. The phone's design and smooth refresh rate are also frequently praised.

Decided to get the pixel 7a since it had most of the latest features without the high tag. It's fast , easy to use and I really love the smaller size. Easier to fit in my purse or pocket. Only minus is that I noticed that my phone signal is not as strong as it normally is in buildings.

My husband absolutely loves his Pixel 7a. he has been a Pixel fan from the start. he has had the 3, 5 and 7. He just went to the 7a when his phone (7) fell in the hot tub for a couple hours. It honestly does everything the 7 does, but with a smaller camera notch on the back. he likes this because he finds it easier to stick in his pocket. he is really enjoying the ease of the the face unlock. he does prefer the Pixel 5 finger print reader on the back vs the onscreen one of the 7a. The guided frame for selfies has been fun to watch him try. he is not a selfie guy, but it does work well! assistant voice typing is top notch, works great and catches most of his words correctly. most of all he enjoys the adaptive battery. he doesn't always have access to a charger. so if he knows he will be in the field for long periods of time, he turns it on and his phone can last MUCH longer. and as always, any phone made by google has been a favorite of his. he is excited to get into it more and use all the features he never had before!

Google Pixel 7a Is Smarter Than Me

I bought the Pixel 7a to replace my aging LG K8 phone. This phone is amazing. This mid-range phone has many features that the high-end one offered. Two notable features are the call screen with transcript & audio, and the audio & transcript recorder. After activated the call screen, no robocalls and advertisers were able to get thru my phone. I'm not a good note taker when attending a meeting or a lecture. But now with the audio & transcript recorder, I see every words the instructors or lecturers said. Only one thing about this phone that I'm not fond of is its weight. It's a bit heavier than other phone brands of the same screen size, so much so that my wrist started to get tire, if I hold the phone in one hand for 10/15 minutes

    Pixel 7a Review

Best value phone I've ever had. I'm probably not talking from much experience since my last phone was a Samsung Galaxy A6, but switching to google felt comfortable since the android interface was pretty similar. The camera has great quality which allows me to just easily whip it out and take a picture. You can switch video to 4k, there are AI features for camouflage and magic eraser. I love the responsiveness of the screen once I switched it to 90hz from the default 60hz. It has overall been a big step up from my last phone and has made everything much easier to access after watching a couple videos to change the default settings.

The phone has a good quality image on screen and a very long lasting battery. Some of the new features on pixel are very helpful for using the phone hands free

I purchased two pixel 7A's a few days ago for my fiance and I, we are coming from uohone 14's. I have had android in between using iphone but mu fiance has used an iPhone for over 5yrs now and she absolutely loves this phone and the camera is much better than the iphone and the operating system is really easy to use. If you are thinking about switching fron the iphone to the pixel i would definitely do it!

I love this phone compared to my older Samsung G6. It's a nice size relative to newer Samsungs and slides in the front pocket well even with a case on it. The battery is giving me lots of on time and in daily use it seems to have convenient controls. The fingerprint sensing generally sucks to my disappointment.

I had another brand of phone from a similar price range that I had just bought earlier this year that had to be replaced. I was not expecting sich a jump in quality of experience -- all of a sudden my self hosted smart home automations that relied on information/status of my phone started working every single time! I havent had a pixel before so I am also loving all the new sounds/tones it comes with. Battery seems to be a little less robust than my other model -- but that might be because the apps I use for smart home automation are actually working? also I tweaked a setting or two for some apps and it seems to be better. That being said I cant make it through the end of the day using it as long as I am accustomed to with other phones so I do find miseof plugging it in more often. I like the stock android - Motorola used to be stock android too but it does have its own add on apps as well - just more around functionality. I like that updates to the OS wont take a year.

Everybody likes a nice camera. This phone has a nice camera. That said, compared to my pixel 5A the phone in general is a very ambitious, yet extremely buggy mess. Even things that seemed to be fairly solved challenges like the Google assistant work less well on the 7A then two phone Generations ago. The biometric thumb scanner in the middle of the screen, is a terrible location, and only works on occasion. Almost every app I have regularly used in the past runs worse on the 7A. This may be due to the developers not being on the bleeding edge of Google's most recent apis, or some other failure, but nonetheless most apps run worse, lag, or outright crash. This is the first phone I've had in quite some time that needs to be restarted at least once a day if not more often. It is not bad enough that I would return it, but this phone has convinced me that in the future I will start buying $100 phones instead of $500 phones.
