A Very Good Phone for the Value

Extremely fast and great with the Google/Android ecosystem. The only fault I see in this product is that the Gemini AI could be better integrated with the Music/Reminder features that you would have with the standard Google assistant. The camera offers very good, true to world pictures with many options when it comes to taking a picture.

I highly recommend this phone. It is very high quality and easy to navigate. I switched from an iPhone 14 and I'll never go back!

Upgraded from my dead Pixel 5a, just switched out the SIM card and let it do it's thing. A little while later after all the updates and migration, I felt like I had my phone back! All my app menus, texts, contacts, pictures, etc. we're perfectly moved from the old phone. And even better, no Verizon $35 activation fee. Great phone if you're a pixel user or even better if you weren't. No Verizon or Samsung bloatware, just a clean android phone.

Incredible phone! I've been waiting for Google to get serious for a while now and finally this phone really proves it! It's also got a lot of smarts in it too. For me it's always been the little things that made the difference. If you're thinking about switching from iPhone or Samsung and you're not stuck in their ecosystems, and you have some wiggle room, then this is really a great phone to have! Who knows, you might even want to experience Google's ecosystem! The watch, the earbuds, and even Chromebooks are all closely integrated between Android and Chrome OS now. Send Cellular text messages from your laptop or tablet? Yep it's there! Take photos of your phone and automatically see it on your Chromebook? Yes that's there too! Pick up where you left off viewing a web page on any Android Device or Chromebook? Yep that's always been there! Get notifications on your Chromebook from your smartphone? Yes again! Google Assistant everywhere between the two and beyond with all of the Google home products as well! Everything is voice activated now and you can talk to almost every device with just your voice! And it's only getting better!

The Pixel 8: Work Smarter not Harder

The Pixel 8 may not be a pocket powerhouse like other phones packing the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, which Google's Tensor G3 noticably lags behind both in terms of performance and efficiency. But, if you're like me you really don't care about the lack of available processing power. I don't play many games on my phone, and the few I do play aren't that intensive. So, a big powerful processor isn't one of my priorities. And this isn't to say you can't play the newest games on your phone. You might just see a dip in performance when your phone gets alittle to hot. But what the Tensor G3 lacks in general performance it makes up for it by utilizing AI and other software tricks to make your overall smartphone experience better. From custom themes generated to match your wallpapers, screening phone calls for scams, and erasing unwanted subjects from your photos. This phone is smart. And with seven years of software updates promised by Google. You shouldn't have to think about a new phone anytime soon.

Its been sometime since I bought the Pixel 8. I waited long enough to have the december patch before posting my review here. This phone is what brings google on the table to compete with the big leagues. It has an amazing dcreen and the cameras take impeccable photos. You cant beat this phone at this price

Got a great trqde in deal and coulent be happier. Coming from a pixel 6a and iohones before that, the phone doesnr disappoint. Especially love thr battery life. As one who travels alot its great to not need to reach for the battery bank. Wish there was more 3p support with cases as all the big players go with the pro only.

    Google Pixel 8

Got the Pixel 8 instead of the 9, since I didn't necessarily need all the latest tech, because I mostly use my phone for utilitarian purposes (I'm not a big gamer, for example). I thought the value was about right. This phone does everything I need it too well. My biggest complaint (and it's not enough to knock it off of 5 stars) is that the vibrate on this phone is kind of weak (and I've seen that in a few other reviews).

All around good phone. Good photo and camera quality. Great editing capabilities. Decent ram. Battery would drain pretty quick at first over time battery life started to extend Although after a few months screen started to freeze pixels and now has a pink line going up and down the display.

I ordered the Pixel 8 and received it the next day through pickup at my work; Walgreens. I got the rose color which is beautiful, I'm already familiar with the pixel series as I upgraded from the Pixel 7a to give to my mom. This is a huge step-up, not the perfect phone but it's very close

I decided to switch from the Motorola razr2023 to the google pixel 8 and it did not disappoint. Setup was incredible easy and the response time is incredible. I also love that I can sync my Google home, Chromebook and pixel to all work together in the home. I recommend this phone to anyone in the market for a great device that won't break the bank.

Not a lot of difference from Pixel 7

Broke my Pixel 7 so I had to buy a new phone. Decided to spend the extra to go to I Pixel 8, but honestly I haven't noticed any difference in performance. The screen is slightly smaller. I wish it were the same size. Also wireless charging is slower. I'd suggest the larger drive size.
