Love the phone. It is smooth and works flawlessly. It does tend to get warm when charging but nothing to be concerned about. I do not use thr phone for playing games qnd I cannot vouch for the processor. My concern so far has been thr battery life. I am having to charge by the end of the day with moderate use. I am hopeing the adaptive battery will make things better in the future.

This phone replaced an antiquated flip phone. The transition between a highly featured device has made it difficult to provide a meaningful review. It requires understanding new terminology with minimal guidance. It takes a lot of research to deploy the "settings" if you don't know what the feature is designed to deliver. A detailed user's guide would probably have allowed me to more readily deploy this phone.

Apparently the phone is supposed to withstand being submerged in water, but from my experience, the phone is not water resistant at all. Mine broke after getting some water splashed on it — not even submerged. During the less than a year I had it, I enjoyed the high refresh rate display and quality camera.

Phone is very user friendly. Camera leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise a really nice phone.

The difference between the P7 and P8 is not much, but when Best Buy offered me $450 and free Pixel Buds, I couldn't resist. Phone works great and you can't go wrong with vanilla Android. What is nice is you will get system update until 2030, but I will probably get the P9 if Best Buy offers another good deal.

This is my third Pixel and I love it. I was very frustrated at first with my call audio not going through my Bluetooth headset (while all other sounds including the phone ringing, were), but a quick search and trying a few things fixed it right up (factory reset wifi and Bluetooth settings and hook them back up).
