The phone's absolutely amazing and smooth. The camera is great, though I would have hoped that night photography was better. The phone hasnt hanged yet at all.

Almost perfect. There just aren't many phones like it. Near perfect size (pixel 5 was the perfect size imo, and its basically the same width and just a few mm taller). Screen is outstanding. Haptics are perfect. And the cameras are about as good as you can get at this size and price. I have no real use for a 5x zoom so this is just fine for me. Also, there are basically no mainstream phones available with a wide angle selfie camera. Pixels are basically the only ones, so I appreciate that they keep it year after year. Battery life gets me well through a moderate day of use. But I still long for the battery life of the pixel 5

I received my Pixel 8 when it came out in October 2023 and am still happy with it 10 months later. It is pretty fast, charges at a good clip and works great on the Pixel stand to charge overnight. It is smaller in size and weighs a little less than the Pixel 7, and that was main reason I upgraded after a year- it has made a big difference in being able to comfortably use the phone all day (whether I should or not.)

My only pick for a phone is Pixel, and I was concerned that my previous phone wouldn't be matched by a new one. How wrong I was. The Pixel 8 is an incredible model with an incredibly affordable price. Pics are, as with my last Pixel, so clear. Battery lasts so long that sometimes I forget that I need to charge. Love, love, love my Pixel

Juan, Ray and the whole front desk team were excellent. I came in last Friday night to buy a new phone because my old one was having trouble charging. I needed the new phone for work early the next day. I came into the store around 9pm and was unsure if I would get what I was looking for. I enjoyed using my pixel 6 so I decided to upgrade on the same brand to a pixel 8. I saw online there was a promotion going on where the price was $499. I asked if that phone was in stock and the front desk team helped me find just what I was looking for. I explained my issue with the old phone and they offered a trade-in. I went forward with it as they said they could apply the credit to my new phone. Unfortunately I didn't have my driver's license on me that night so I was told I could come back in tomorrow or Sunday to apply the credit to the new phone, while still purchasing the pixel 8 then and there. I went to work the next day and the new phone worked great, had high speeds, and everything got transferred from my old pixel. I went back in Sunday morning to see if I could repurchase the new phone with the applied credit from the trade-in for the old pixel. I was told that Sunday morning the price for the phone went back up to $699, and I couldn't go forward with the return to add the credit. Juan, the store manager, let me know the reasoning behind it, and also explained that a possible option would be if I was a Best buy membership holder I could return the phone, wait until the price went back down, and repurchase it with the added $80 discount then. I appreciated his advice, but decided that $200 off was already a substantial discount and was overall happy with the purchase. I did go forward and trade-in the phone and still received the $80 credit, which I used to purchase a phone case the front desk team helped me find. Outstanding customer service, great team, upper management is definitely running this store with excellence!

Pixels were usually considered best phones for a clean Andriod experience. Pixel 8 takes it further and is probably one of the best smartphones with great camera, clean OS, regular software updates, lots of helpful/smart features and overall very well rounded software-hardware tech. I have been a pixel user for a couple of years now, have had issues here and there since the Pixels started to use their own Tensor chips but every feature seems to be getting better and better inching towards optimum performance. Highly recommend.

my 3 yr old pixel 5 started to split apart and its had other issues like volume problems and fingerprint sensor being inconsistent. plus battery life has dropped. Pixel 8 was in stock and easy to migrate to before I lost the display on the old phone. The pixel8 is slightly larger and heavier, but not huge. i value a smaller phone so that's why Went with the 8. camera and photo editing is great. I've used samsung but am happier with the google interface.

Coming from Pixel 7 Pro, this one feels like a better fit for me, size-wise. Still has all the good things I loved about P7P. Was worried that I'd be downgrading on camera capabilities but the camera on Pixel 8 is amazing.

Love this phone. I previously had a Pixel 5 and loved the size and shape. When I upgraded to the 7 it was good but too big and heavy and the fingerprint sensor sucked. Now on the 8 the fingerprint sensor and face unlock are superior to the 7 for me. The 120hz and super bright display is awesome. The size and weight is very comparable to the Pixel 5 but now with the tensor G3 instead of the budget processor of the 5. Overall very happy with the purchase and pre-order/trade in experience with Best buy.
