Mom loved it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t had the phone for that long but got it as a gift for my mom. Was easy to switch over sim after watching a video. Transferring all the data from old phone was simple, just needed to follow prompted instructions. Mom has loved the camera quality. Upgraded storage from her old one, so she doesn’t have to deal with deleting apps or pictures like she was before. She is also a big fan of the “hey google” as an elderly.

Mobile Model Review: [Google Pixel 8 Pro]
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Competitively Priced: The phone offers a compelling set of features at a competitive price point, providing value for money. Advanced AI Features: The incorporation of advanced artificial intelligence features enhances the user experience, contributing to the phone's overall performance. Terrific Cameras: The camera system on this mobile model is exceptional, delivering high-quality photos and possibly innovative features powered by AI. Compact: The phone's compact design makes it convenient for one-handed use and easy portability, catering to users who prefer smaller form factors. Excellent Build Quality: The build quality is commendable, ensuring durability and a premium feel in hand. Cons: Unimpressive Battery Life: One notable drawback is the phone's battery life, which falls short of expectations. Users may find themselves needing to recharge more frequently. No Telephoto Camera: The absence of a telephoto camera limits the phone's versatility in photography, especially for zoomed-in shots. Storage Capped at 256GB: While 256GB of storage is substantial, the limitation may be a downside for users who require extensive storage for media, apps, and files.

Pixel 8
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice upgrade from the Pixel 7, slightly smaller in size which works for me. So far the battery life is great and with moderate use my phone lasts all day one a single charge.

Happy with my Pixel 8
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely buy open box items but this one was labeled "excellent condition" so I decided to give it a shot. The Pixel 8 is a great phone. The more I use the Pixel, the more upgrades and improvements I notice over my previous four year old Android phone. Beginning with call quality, the Bluetooth quality and internet coverage are all greatly improved. The sound quality is better. The battery life is almost double of my previous phones. This is the first phone I have owned the has legit all day battery life. The OLED display is awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great flagship phone for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm reviewing the Pixel 8 as a previous Pixel 7 owner. First thing first, the Pixel 8(6.2 inch screen) is actually 0.1 inch smaller than the Pixel 7. For me this is a good thing as I want a smaller phone, which is why I have a Pixel 8 and not a Pixel 8 Pro. On the plus side, the refresh rate is now 120hz versus the 90hz on the Pixel 7. So scrolling and touch operations feel slightly smoother. Other than that you have the expected processor upgrade (Google Tensor G3) though the battery is thankfully slightly upgraded too (4575 mAh versus the Pixel 7's 4355 mAh). Do note you get seven years of software upgrade with the Pixel 8. Regarding the camera, the hardware is just about the same. I myself don't take too many pictures, but there are some nifty upgrades on the software side. The Macro Focus lets you take photos of tiny objects with better clarity. Real Tone for video recordings captures skin tone more accurately. Best Take lets you splice similar photos together so if let someone blinks during a picture, you can replace his face from another photo taken in succession. Magic Editor uses A.I. to help you make edits to your photos. A lot of other features are brought over as expected such as the Call Assist and Live Translate. One new standout feature though is AI Wallpaper(Android 14 feature). You basically pick a category and then wallpaper images will be auto generated as you change the word prompts that are given to you. Call quality is good on the Pixel 8 much like the Pixel 7. There seems to be some algorithm at work that helps cut down on the amount of background noise on the person you're talking to. This is an important to me because at the end of the day a smartphone needs to have good call quality to facilitate phone conversations. At $699, the Pixel 8 is one of the more affordable flagship phones compared to other companies like Samsung, Apple, or Sony. If you're buying a Pixel phone for the first time and want a smaller phone(compared to the Pro) as well as a pure Android experience with less bloat, I can strongly recommend the Pixel 8. Though if you're upgrading from the Pixel 7, you have to see if some of the new features are worth upgrading to. That said if you can get a good trade deal, I would say to go for it.

Pixel 8 is great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works like a champ! Smaller size makes it more comfortable in the pocket. If you can get it on sale it's 1/2 the price of the top dollar phones with an awesome camera to boot! I'd recommend it to anyone looking at Android phones.

Best smartphone for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality smart phone. Good camera and software, with little to no issues. Sometimes it will get a bit warm, but only if brightness is up all the way and I've been on it for a while (think, doomscrolling for hours) so it does not happen often. Camera is great at post processing, and the macro lens captures details beautifully.

Android's iPhone is pixel 8
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a flagship smartphone released by Google in late 2023. It featured notable improvements in camera technology, a custom-designed Google Tensor SoC for enhanced AI capabilities, and an updated design and form factor The camera system on the Pixel 8 was praised for its image quality and computational photography capabilities, which are areas where Google's Pixel series has traditionally excelled. The Tensor SoC 3 was designed to optimize AI tasks, which contribute to various features like better speech recognition and improved image processing. Additionally, the Pixel 8's new design language with its distinctive camera bar across the back. It was available in different color options and offered a range of storage capacities of which hazel was my favorite pick, In addition to the phone I also received pixel buds pro as a introductory offer which is amazing.

Not great, but not too bad either.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is okay, but not the greatest Google has made. Some of the main issues: Camera: For some reason, the autofocus is glitchy. Specifically when taking videos, but also when trying to take photos. The autofocus tends to focus on random objects instead of the person (people) in the frame. There have been too many times when I try to take a video, set up the camera, walk away from it, and find out later that mid-video it focused on a different object and the whole video is now blurry. Overheating: The phone overheats ALOT. I could be doing something basic like scrolling through TikTok or checking emails, and the phone is burning. I did fix it by disabling 5G (which the phone should be able to handle is can't) and disabling adaptive connectivity services and reabling it (like a reset). This fixed the overheating issue, but it does mean I need to leave the 5G function disabled. If this is an issue for you, then this is not the phone for you. Personally, 5G does not make much of a difference for me because of the area I live in, but I know it does for some people. Speakers: The speakers are just located in weird places. It's not too much of an issue with the phone itself, but it does present an issue when you put a case on it. Overall these are more annoyances for me than complex complications, but its still bad considering phones have come such a long way for there to be these basic problems. Some positive because there are some: Processing Speed: The processing speed is great though, incredibly fast. AI and features: The AI and assistant are great and it has so many features to make your like simpler. Honestly, its features is the main reason why I continue to get google phones. I like the simplicity of Apple, but when it comes to having a phone that will actually help your everyday life, google always blows me away. Pictures and Video: The picture and video on it is amazing, when it actually takes pictures and videos correctly it looks amazing. Battery: The battery lasts a long time and I use my phone ALOT. This could also be because I disabled the 5G function in mine, but its still great to know it will last me all day

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great update to the Pixel series of phones. The screen is vibrant and the speed of the phone is really fluid. There is a benefit to getting an Android phone directly from Google. Great quality shots from the camera, too.

Great experience!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Juan, Ray and the whole front desk team were excellent. I came in last Friday night to buy a new phone because my old one was having trouble charging. I needed the new phone for work early the next day. I came into the store around 9pm and was unsure if I would get what I was looking for. I enjoyed using my pixel 6 so I decided to upgrade on the same brand to a pixel 8. I saw online there was a promotion going on where the price was $499. I asked if that phone was in stock and the front desk team helped me find just what I was looking for. I explained my issue with the old phone and they offered a trade-in. I went forward with it as they said they could apply the credit to my new phone. Unfortunately I didn't have my driver's license on me that night so I was told I could come back in tomorrow or Sunday to apply the credit to the new phone, while still purchasing the pixel 8 then and there. I went to work the next day and the new phone worked great, had high speeds, and everything got transferred from my old pixel. I went back in Sunday morning to see if I could repurchase the new phone with the applied credit from the trade-in for the old pixel. I was told that Sunday morning the price for the phone went back up to $699, and I couldn't go forward with the return to add the credit. Juan, the store manager, let me know the reasoning behind it, and also explained that a possible option would be if I was a Best buy membership holder I could return the phone, wait until the price went back down, and repurchase it with the added $80 discount then. I appreciated his advice, but decided that $200 off was already a substantial discount and was overall happy with the purchase. I did go forward and trade-in the phone and still received the $80 credit, which I used to purchase a phone case the front desk team helped me find. Outstanding customer service, great team, upper management is definitely running this store with excellence!

||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 8 is just the right size it feels great one handed. Battery life could be a bit better however it changes so fast if you have a long day it's easy to get a quick 5 min charge in. Screen brightness is very good one of the brightest phones I've seen. The OS is perfect with the Google ecosystem I replaced a pixel 7 that I hated before read a pixel 4 and loved it so maybe go with even pixels.
