Bad UX. Wouldn't Purchase Again

Is it good? NO. The camera itself is good, but the gallery photo organization is terrible. Instead of just storing photos locally they try to make you sign up for a subscription to Google photos and pay extra for storage (even if there's plenty on the phone). You can opt out of this, but the default gallery for the phone IS Google photos so if you choose not to auto backup your photos it makes the galley app useless and you have to navigate through the camera every time to see your photos. In general the UX is terrible for someone who wants any separation from the Google space. Every default is also organized in the worst way possible. For example even though most people only use the ”/” when typing, the keyboard is mapped to the "\" making things like typing dates incredibly inconvenient. If you could adjust or customize any of these settings it wouldn't be such an issue, but there is no flexibility with the Google apps.

Couple small issues for me... 1) don't like that I can't have a memory card. Not the phones fault. 2) Hate that no speaker jack is the "norm" 3) Battery doesn't last anywhere near as long as my 7 year old LGV30. 4) Phone gets noticeably warmer than the LG above ever did. Beyond those things, the phone and price are/were both pretty great.
