Same phone as pixel 7 pro but with a flat screen. Phone gets hot when taking video. Reception is really terrible. The phone can't switch between cell towers or Wi-Fi access points without dropping the connection.

Does not have good performance.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This phone is a vast improvement over the Google 7 Pro which in itself was a great phone to use. For one this phone has a flat screen which is much much easier to use than a curved screen. Now a glass screen protector can be used. Secondly is that this phone's brightness is much brighter than the 7 Pro. The camera is excellent on this phone. It's better than it was on the 7 Pro. Face unlock can now be used to not only unlock the phone but also banking apps and other apps where security is needed to get into and access. Battery life is better than the 7 pro as well. Once you get on the phone and turn off a few things such as wifi scanning, etc then for sure this phone has a 2-day battery life. Lastly, the Google 8 Pro is guaranteed to receive 7 updates. This even beats IPhones. I highly recommend the Google 8 Pro phone.

Basically out of my preorder deal that included a pixel 2 watch for free.
