My first top tier phone so my review should be taken with a grain of salt. So far, I like the screen, the speed, the cameras, etc. I have not yet used the special features of the phone. Battery life is not top tier. Only time will tell. I don't plan on changing this phone for 7 YEARS!

I really enjoy the feel in the hand over the 7 Pro. The screen also doesn't have the exaggerated curved screen. The camera will not disappoint and the security options are incredible. I legitimately only charge the phone once every few days. Amazing product

I upgraded from Pixel 6 Pro to 8 Pro. The 6 Pro had avg display quality with horrible battery life. Pixel 8 Pro feels like a real flagship. Camera quality is amazing, battery life is all day. build quality is really good. Display is also top notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Android ecosystem.

In a vacuum this phone is great. Able to work every app, and have multiple opened at the same time. Beautiful camera. There are other phones out there with faster processors but only a very select few if any people that will/can take advantage of it. This phone will just work as a phone with an exceptional camera. Getting it on sale makes it so much more worth it.

The phone itself is almost perfect. I got it since the newest flagship Samsung I upgraded to was dying in half a day, even while charging. However, there is one issue. It gets a little hot and (super) fast charging is not a feature (apparently?, I didn't even think about this in 2024). My previous S21 Ultra had it and charged in 30-45 mins and it was years older. Camera is great, the phone lags and stutters once in a while if I am multitasking. Overall a great phone, but I would say it is not really worth the price tag when I bought it.

Nice device, works well so far. Fast, the photos are professional, the resolution is wonderful. The easy setup to transfer files and apps from the old phone. I recommend to anyone

Solid phone honestly. I am upgrading from a Pixel 7pro, so not much of a upgrade. However, I feel that this performs much better and camera is slightly better. I like the new UI. Camera has slightly more contrast, also the dimensions of the phone are slightly uncomfortable. However, everything else is good.

The phone has good battery, smooth interface and amazing camera. The photos look best and lots of editing features come with the stock software. Speakers are much improved. The actual display makes the phone worth it with 120hz refresh rate. Just go for it. One of the best ones in the market.

The experience using the Pixel is great and battery life is up to the other major players. You are getting this phone mainly for the camera and AI features. The raw power of this phone isn't good enough to play games like Genshin Impact but is more than enough for everything else.

Great phone! The Google Pixel 8 Pro takes incredible photos, has good battery life, and a beautiful display. It would be nice if the Pixel 8 was just as good as the Pixel 8 Pro just with a smaller screen, but unfortunately you need to go with the Pro if you want the flagship device this year.

Pixel 8 pro is a really good sample of a pure Google top creations. The camera is amazing, I love the live photos. Phone is fast and very intuitive to operate. Battery is amazing. I would like to see a Google 360 case to protect the whole phone. Cases on the market are basic.

I had to upgrade my OnePlus 7 Pro after it developed some problems and was stuck on Android 11. I'm glad I waited for the Pixel 8 Pro vs going with the 7 Pro. It's my first Pixel and I love it so far! I had heard that people were having issues with the 7 series of pixels, but I haven't had any issues with it. It runs all my apps with no problems, doesn't get hot and I generally have 50 to 60% battery left at the end of the day. The 30W chargers do an excellent job of charging it quickly. I was out of town the day it was released but picked it up two days later on Saturday. I was debating on the Pixel 8 Pro vs some other flagships but when Google announced seven years of updates including security patches, feature drops, and OS updates, that sold me.

I bought this phone although I really wanted the smaller Pixel 8. The processor and memory are the same too. A smaller display size, but more responsive, was my goal. However, they offered the new Smart watch with the Pro making both phones the same price. Now after having this phone and testing the smart watch, I would advise users to just get the regular Pixel 8 and go for the smaller screen size. Easier to handle and use. The Smart Watch is not anything to go crazy for and the Pixel 8 Pro's camera, seems like normal camera to me. I haven't used all the features but the normal features would have been enough for me. Still a good solid phone. There was an issue when you first load the phone. The Virtual keyboard was not coming up. I had to search and install the keyboard from the Play store. It required an update. (you should try doing this without a keyboard.. LOL) Overall a good phone. I paid 3x what I normally pay for a phone but I hope the 7 years of upgrades is honored. Even though, keep in mind that after 4 years, your CPU is pretty much obsolete for any new capabilities.

Came from a Galaxy S22 Ultra and the google pixel is really quick. The interface is much nicer and doesnt have all the samsung stuff slowing it down. Really like it! Build quality is good too.

I bought this phone for my gf, and as far as I can tell she loves it! Good upgrade from the pixel 6 pro, camera seems to be very good. Battery life seems to be decent but not the best. And it was a smart decision going to a flat screen.
