Good phone great value, solid deal if you can get a discount. Not very different from the pixel 7s which is a good thing.

My Pixel 5A finally gave up the ghost. This phone has been a great upgrade. I miss the finger sensor on the back but the screen and face unlock on this one does great. The battery is a little less than the 5A but still does a good job lasting through the day. And I love the blue color of the phone. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but great phone for price point.

Love the new phone. The screen refresh and brightness is a step up for the 6a. Better battery life than the 6a, too.

This was purchased to replace my wife's Pixel 4a. Towards the end the battery required frequent charging.
She is overjoyed with this phone. Overall it was an easy transition to the Pixel 8. She is very appreciative of the battery life and the new processor.
This is the fourth unlocked phone we have purchased from Best Buy. They will be our first stop when it is time to replace the next phone. The staff in the Paducah Kentucky store were very pleasant and helpful.

I bought this open box because I wanted to try out a budget Android phone from a lifelong iOS user. Ive got to say, this is a really solid device for the price. I really appreciate all the features packed into this thing with the software. The camera is workable and it feels like its solidly build. I’m excited to keep exploring all the features with this. Who knows, I might end snagging a foldable after this!

This is my first Pixel phone, previously I owned several Galaxy phones. I enjoy the Pixel for the size, camera and Google ecosystem. The battery leaves a lot to be desired. I am a light phone user with no games, social media or videos but the Pixel battery struggles mightily. I hope this improves or I learn ways to improve battery usage. I indicate I would recommend the phone but will allow the buyer to determine how important is the battery life.

If you have a Google account you should get a Google phone. Everything is stored in the cloud, and easily accessible between your devices through your Gmail. These phones are awesome as well, photo processing is unbeatable and so is the price. I'm very impressed that a $500 phone takes better pictures than most flagship devices like Apple and Samsung. 5 out of 5 would recommend

Beware, the Tensor 3 overheats and the phone shuts down especially when it is over 85 degrees or when you use it for Amazon Flex or other driver apps. This happened with the Tensor 2 in the Pixel 7a as well. Email notifications are often delayed by 5-15 minutes. Google these issues, they are quite common. Too bad, I really loved the size of the phone and the great camera but had to return it and get a Samsung.

I was a little hesitant due to some negative reviews about connection problems. However this phone works well in an area with weak Verizon signal. Very fast and good battery life. Very pleased with Best Buy open box deals.

Pixel8a is everything that I expected. As a long-term iPhone user, I wanted to experience the latest Android features. I enjoy using native Google Apps. The responsiveness is not premium but it is good enough for the price.
Hardware quality is solid. It can be slippery without a case.
The font size is a little tricky. The larger font does not display well in some of apps that I use.

Picked up the phone today I’m not a noob to the pixel line I have owned all of them I’m a bit of a reviewer. The 8a in my opinion replaces the pixel 8 (unless you do a lot of low light photography) for me I’m mostly during the day or dusk timeframe both phones snap identical pictures of the black starlight nights perfectly trumping my galaxy s23 and 24 as they seem to over brighten the night sky. This G3 is actually as snappy as its big brother’s P8 pro as they use the same chip. My P7A last year was a bit watered down compared to my P7 however that’s not the case this year, the pixel 8a hit the sweet spot snag one I got the blue and it’s nice matte back no fingerprints! I’m not gonna rave on but it’s an awesome phone and is on par with our iPhone 15 pro max it’s got that “rich contrast “ type of photos that the iPhone has (not a specific setting just they way pics look) For an android I say it’s as close as you will ever find in camera quality to a 15 pro max nothing touches it Samsungs over saturation kills the pics lots of the time. But I say there close behind next year watch out new everything on galaxies..

A bit of a down grade on size from last phone. No pen to use on the screen either. But it's features and everything else is amazing. It also should have mentioned when purchasing the phone that a separate port for charging is needed to be purchased.

I liked the 6a and got this was for my father, he felt it was easy to use, quick to adapt and liked it more than his previous iphone. It lasts 2 days for my father, he dropped it 2 times till now and it still works fine

The Google Pixel 8a offers excellent value with its sleek design and solid build. The 6.1-inch OLED display is vibrant and sharp, making media enjoyable. Performance is smooth, thanks to the Google Tensor G2 chip. The camera delivers great results, especially in low light with Night Sight. Battery life is solid, and the clean Android experience with timely updates is a bonus.
