I like the interface. It's fast, comfortable, and has a good camera. Maybe it doesn't have much zoom for photos, but I don't consider it a problem.

Best choice to upgrade and old Android phone with no more updates. Fast phone, battery life need is good, not difficult to maneuver at all if u have been an Android person. The go back arrows are a pain if playing any letter games and Google must make the photo app much easier to navigate.

GOOGLE PIXEL 8A REVIEW

I am very much enjoying my new Google pixel 8A. I picked the A because I do not do a lot of online gaming and didn't need the bigger ticket price. But this phone does everything I would need- calling, texting, emails, FB, etc. The biggest plus to this phone is the amazing camera that outperforms any iPhone.

Phone is a noticable upgrade over my pixel 6a in the viewing screen and camera. I also appreciate the wireless charging. I may have not upgraded had it not been for the promotional $100 credit I got for my 6a on top of the best buy $100 credit. Battery seems to last about as long as my 6a.

This phone feels great on the hands, it resemble a lot the handling of an iPhone, it is small, round and soft, it feels great.
The display is sharp, bright and color accurate, the battery life is good, the internet speed antenna is good, never a dropped call, and the media sound quality is excellent when connected to headphones or my car audio, also the phone own speakers are great too, they sound big and whole.
My only gripes with this phone for which I am getting rid off it, the memory ram management, if you switch from one app to the next, it has to reload every app, it doesn't hold anything in memory.
For example, if you have google maps going, taking you to an address, and you minimize it to open youtube, when you go back to google maps, you will find that it got shutdown and you have to renter the address and start the navigation again. Very frustrating.
The worse of the gripes is its face recognition and horrible finger print reader, there is no easy way to authenticate and get into your phone, it is a frustrating struggle to open this phone because it fails every time to read your face or your finger print.

Upgraded to this from a pixel 4a, which was necessary as the battery software upgrade made the 4a unusable. Nice phone, can hold easily, even with small hands like mine. Would recommend as a pixel 4a replacement.

The phone works great overall. I love the size and the speed. The keypad and fingerprint are a little off at times. Some of the Google features are not preset and you have to go search for them. Camera is great, but sometimes zoom looks weak. Battery could be a little better.

pixel 8a with the trade promo and gift card was a good value. Im happy with the phone and the 7 years of updates give me piece of mind. I am not a power user so this budget phone is perfect for me. Calls are clear, pictures are great and battery life is good.

Great value. Phones are expensive this ones price is good. Will be an upgrade from your old phone and especially if you don't care for the new AI features phones now have that make them cost $1,000

Functions as expected. Has taken a minor beating due to the lower quality gorilla glass but has held up almost a year later and see no problem getting it to 2 years

Took a minute to get used to from the 3a but it feels good in my hands now. Don't regret the purchase at all. Will definitely recommend

Great features, feels snappy and great camera all at a good price.
