Customers are saying

Customers love the Pixel 9 Pro XL 128GB (Unlocked) for its exceptional camera quality, outstanding battery life, and smooth performance. Many appreciate the phone's impressive design and large screen, while some find the storage capacity on the base model to be insufficient. The high price point is another area of concern for some buyers.

Switched over to Google Pixel after using iPhones and Apple watches for over 10 years. I was really hesitant about switching, but I have not regretted it. While there has been a learning curve of new system and layout, I have enjoyed the different features and customization/personalization options.

I tested iPhone 2 years ago by changing my pixel life to the iPhone 14 pro max and apple watch, the iPhone is really good, don't get me wrong, it tool a while to get use to how to do some things but very good and usable for, but I really missed some pixel features and the pixel camera, this new pixel does not make me miss the iPhone at all, loving my new phone like I didn't love a phone in a long time!

What I needed. Had the Pixel 7 Pro but had an unfortunate accident and it was no longer operational. Enter the Pixel 9 Pro XL An absolute upgrade, Just wish the pricing was more budget friendly.

very good looking phone. battery life is good too. but this phone is slippery without a case and I like to go bare-back... giggity. I like the google android OS. high end phone with meh specs. overall good phone and the average person will like it, but I ended up selling it on eBay and bought the OnePlus 13. much better value.

What I like ------------ High build quality, beautiful and classy design Stunning display Seven years of Android updates Camera Innovative Gemini features Ultrasonic fingerprint reader What I don't like ------------- Tensor G4 chipset still gets hot and doesn't pack flagship tier specs Top Shot (Live Video) still doesn't have audio The Pixel 9 XL Pro by Google has impressed me. A 6.8" display in a beautiful, slick body that doesn't feel overly large in the hands, but I would have liked a slightly smaller 6.6” screen. I'm so happy Google went completely flat screen and bezels. I never liked curved screens. It feels solid and well-built. It has a heft this year that makes it feel high quality. The curved edges of the body only enhance its looks and help make it more comfortable in the hands. The rear camera module has changed from the Pixel 6, 7, and 8 but maintains a distinctly Pixel look. The polished metal frame feels solid and adds a touch of sophistication. Pixel 9 Pro XL feels grown up to steal The refreshed design with a pill-shaped camera bar looks sleek and one of a kind in the current bar phone market. The Pixel 7 and 8 were great-looking phones and very unique but the Pixel 9 Pro looks better in every way. This is the best-looking phone that Google has made (although the Pixel 4 Panda color scheme is a pretty close second or tied) The screen is beautiful with the highest brightness on a cell phone at 3000 nits. I did not have an issue with visibility in bright sunlight. The bezels seem more uniform and slimmer this year. The OLED screen appears to extend to the edges. The flattened frame means you won’t accidentally tap the edges of the display, either. The Pixel Pro’s upgraded panel is called Super Actua - which is marketing but it frankly is the best screen Google has put on a phone. The screen is vibrant, sharp, and immersive. It's super responsive and the one to 120Hz refresh rate makes everything glide. There are times when the animations are fast but not necessarily smooth but everything has been fluid in my usage. This year the Pixel Pro comes with 16GB of RAM. According to reports, 13GB is for the operating system, and 3GB to be used for the Gemini AI. While the raw performance of the Tensor G4 may not be the main focus, its software capabilities are what set it apart. The benchmark results of the chip against the flagship competition exhibit expected results. The Tensor G4 is slower and runs throttles more than its rivals. Pixel fans will have to wait until next year, as we’re expected to see a raw power boost while being built at TMSC’s factories. But not to worry, the raw power of the phone and chipset will not hurt the overall experience. Most users won't push the CPU or GPU to their limits. I haven’t noticed much of a difference compared to my previous device. Users should be more than happy with the phone as it keeps pace with the average person’s needs. As far as battery life, I can’t complain. The phone lasts 5+ hours of on-screen time before the need to charge. I've seen and heard a lot about the fast charging capabilities of the phone, but I find that the phone charges quickly enough. How many people need to charge from zero to 100 in 30 minutes? Most people I know are charging throughout the day. 27 watts on the Pixel 9 Pro XL while connected to a USB-C adapter I already owned is pretty fast, but more importantly, it's fast enough. The Pixel 9 Pro camera delivers everything you expect from a flagship device. The camera opens fast and loads fast and it focuses within milliseconds. Those factors are almost as important as quality photos. I have owned phones that were expensive but didn't focus quickly or well. Its performance in low light is outstanding, and it excels in daylight, with good macro shots. It's probably the best point-and-click camera on a phone. The big push this year is the features powered by Google’s Gemini AI. Google is giving you one year of Gemini Advanced. Gemini Assistant is the built-in AI assistant. I find it can handle complex queries and tasks better than Google Assistant, especially considering all the intelligence and features they've taken away from Google Assistant. Then you have the Photography Enhancements like Magic Editor, Auto Frame, Add Me, Pixel Studio, and the new Pixel Weather app. I used them all and used them on almost a daily basis…so far. I find them useful and some of the photo AI features are just fun. Reimagine lets you recreate the selected area of an image based on a written prompt. It's far from perfect but I've had a lot of fun coming up with new backgrounds to my family photos. I could talk for pages on the different AI features and how well they work or how rough around the edges they are but I appreciate the direction Google is taking the Pixel line. The features are also far ahead of what other manufacturers offer on their devices. AI is the future and Google has been doing this for years. I hope they keep implementing AI in ways that make things easier from your phone and just make life easier. Google has been very good at pushing features to the Pixels for the last few years. I expect them to improve AI features, Gemini, and Android. I am disappointed that Android 15 wasn't onboard from day one but we're supposed to get it soon. The Pixel 9 Pro XL offers several compelling reasons to consider it for your next smartphone purchase. If you’re looking for a smartphone that combines cutting-edge AI features, exceptional camera performance, and a refined design, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is a terrific choice.
