The Google Pixel Buds A - Series are a pair of lightweight neatly designed true wireless earphones that I really enjoyed using with my Pixel 4XL and Samsung Note 8. They are light, fit comfortably and securely inside my ears and sport a low profile hence didn’t stick out much from my ears like other true wireless earphones I have used before. Let’s start with inside the box where we have the charging/carrying case in which the pixel buds were seated, a usb type C cable, replacement ear tips and the usual paperwork.

Battery lasts quite a while and battery in case is nice so that I don't have to constantly charge them when one ear bud dies (Only use one ear bud).

They fit great and the sound is good; but I found that the battery seems to always be out at the time when I need them most (I'm sure it's my fault somehow, and I'm trying to be more conscious of plugging them in). The biggest thing is that I can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time - again, it could be that I just don't have the hang of it yet, still, I was disappointed.

Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We're glad to hear that you liked the fit and sound of your Pixel Buds A-Series.

If you want to pair your Google Pixel Buds to an additional device, place them in the charging case with the lid open, and once the case status light is visible, hold the pairing button until the light starts pulsing to put them in pairing mode. While in pairing mode, the Pixel Buds will be ready to pair with your new device. Google Pixel Buds pairings can be retained for up to 6 devices. Further pairing of devices will forget the oldest one.

Hello there RonaldP, thanks for the feedback you provided on Pixel Buds A-Series. We’re glad that you find bass and sound good, and we’re sorry to learn that the battery life is below your expectations.

We suggest checking for the latest Firmware version v553, which will include general bug fixes to improve battery performance for Pixel Buds. If a firmware update is available, follow the steps below to update the Google Pixel Buds:
      - Place the earbuds securely inside the charging case with the lid open
      - Go to the Pixel Buds Settings.
      - On a Pixel phone with Android 10 or above: Go to Settings Connected devices Pixel Buds Settings Settings .
      - On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app.
      - Scroll down and select More settings Firmware update.
      - Tap Update available.
      - Follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also try to reset the earbuds and restart the source device:
      - Place the earbuds in the charging case for one minute, then remove them.
      - Reset the Pixel Buds. Refer to [How to] Factory reset your Google Pixel Buds for the complete steps.
      - Restart the source device (phone, laptop, or computer).

If further assistance is required, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll definitely help you the best we can: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/gethelp madebygoogle

TL;DR They're good for the price point. But you should probably go for a pair of Samsung's offerings, especially if you're used to the sound from nicer earbuds/over ear headphones. The earbuds and case are physically high quality. I personally had trouble getting them to fit tightly in my ears, compared to both the original Samsung Galaxy Buds and the new Galaxy Buds Pro. When I was able to fit them into my ears properly, the sound was definitely okay for this price point of fully wireless earbuds. It is missing some bass on tracks, even when put very loud. The pairing process was also fine, as long as you read the manual. Compared to Samsung's offerings, it is a little more complicated (having to press a hidden physical button on the back of the case, instead of just having to open it like with Samsung's offerings). The Google Assistant integration works really well, and the touch pads on the earbuds are easier to use than on any of Samsung's competitors. It registered when I wanted to press much more accurately. Compared to the competition, they are about as easy to use, have worse slightly sound and fit worse in ear. However I never had the frustration of mistapping the earbuds and skipping tracks on accident like I did with the competition. If you've never had better earbuds before, you're likely to find them an upgrade however. They're not bad, just for a little more you can get ones that sound nicer.
