They sound great. I have trouble with the buds staying in my ear while I'm running. I've tried different ear pieces, but they don't like to stay put. When I try to push them in again, play is either paused or it skips to the next song. Others have worked better for me.

They were free for a reason. Good but annoying.

I've been using mine for a few weeks. I have them paired with a Pixel 6 Pro. I use them intermittently throughout the day for audiobooks and phone calls. TLDR: Don't pay $100 for these. I don't recommend them unless they are free or on sale. Battery is awful, but sound quality, call quality and comfort are excellent. Smart features are only just okay, and sometimes annoying.
First thing to note is that the battery life is awful. I have two year old $50 Anker Life Note wireless buds that run laps around these when it comes to battery, and the audio isn't very different from those budget buds. It has been a very frustrating adjustment. The charging time has been okay, but the case dies very quickly, as well as the buds. I have to charge the case every one to two days. The case is usually below 50% long before bed time most days. I was used to keeping my old buds loose in my back pocket between uses, but this is a definite battery killer for the Pixel Buds. They will not go into any sort of battery saving mode this way. They must be placed back into the case every time you are not using them, if you want them to work the next time you need them. But even keeping a single bud in my ear during the work day, just so that I can hear notifications, will kill them almost as quickly as listening to audio for the same period. So, don't expect longer battery just because they are in but not being used. Phone calls kill them much more quickly. From a completely full charge I got about 2.5 hours during a phone call before they started dying.
That having been said, they are the best sounding and most comfortable buds that I've ever used. And the call quality for me and the other party is stellar. They are on the quiet side, but it hasn't been a problem yet. If I hadn't gotten them for free, I would have been pretty upset at the $100 price, considering how terrible the battery life is. I'm almost tempted to turn off the smart features, just to extend the battery, but that would eliminate almost everything that makes them worthwhile.
Also, the smart features are cool... when they work, and work in your favor. I can get them to read back my notifications about 50% of the time. And sometimes they read back group text notifications by announcing every single participant in the group message, taking about 1 or 2 full minutes to cover everyone, and even doing so over phone calls or conference calls that I am on, which is completely unacceptable.

My ears get sore with ALL other brands but these. In fact, since the newest buds are shaped differently, I purchased a second pair before they don't make these anymore!

Very sleep item. I like how it rest and snuggles into my ear. Some slight problems with sound (not connectivity) when talking on the phone. However, a decent product from the Google Accessories portfolio.

These earbuds have nice sound but are terribly uncomfortable. I could not leave them in for more than 30 minutes and could not wear them on consecutive days. If you have smaller ears I'd pass on these (it's the larger part that causes the discomfort- not the inserts which have a variety of sizes).

Hello there! Thank you for sharing your experience with the Google Pixel Buds A Series. We're glad to hear that you found the sound quality impressive. However, we're sorry to learn about the discomfort you faced while using them, especially in terms of prolonged wear and fitting for smaller ears. We appreciate your insight on this matter. Your device is pre-attached with medium eartips and comes with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. If you’re not getting a perfect fit with our silicone eartips, memory foam eartips might be worth a try. We recommend reaching out to our support specialists so we can further assist you with finding a better resolution for you. Hi AMoody, thanks for taking the time to write your feedback about the Pixel Buds A-Series. We made a few focused tradeoffs to bring the same sound quality, design language, and Google helpfulness of Pixel Buds to this more affordable price. Pixel Buds A-Series have the same gesture controls as Pixel Buds (2nd Gen) except for swipe gestures that are used to control the volume in other Google Pixel Buds models. To change the volume, simply say “Hey Google, turn up the volume”.
We’re taking your feedback seriously as we’re always on the lookout for ways to create a better customer experience. If you run into any concerns that need support, please get in touch with us using our contact details found here: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/gethelp

I got these for free with my pixel 6 preorder. These are my first truly wireless headphones, and if the experience I've had is any
The Bad:
- Little noise isolation. I can hear way more of the outside environment than I'd like.
- None of the ear-tips felt like a good fit. The medium one let in even more noise and the large ones push slowly push the headphones out of my ear.
- I've chosen the large tips because they feel better. Because they slowly push out of my ears, a few times an hour I have to readjust the headphones usually after they auto-pause because think I've taken them out.
- 25% of the time google assistant encounters a problem when you try to activate it.
- The touch controls are sensitive and react when lying down or having fabric move against them.
- Even without the the tip issue the "wings" of the earbuds are just uncomfortable. The "wing" feels strange and hurts after a while using them. I never forget I have them on.
The Good:
- They sound okay. I like bass and recommend to turn on the bass boost setting in the app.
- The control scheme is intuitive. While I wish there were volume controls the control scheme just makes senses.

Only good thing I like about is the passive noise cancelling, which enhances my time spent when I want to focus.
Largest disadvantage for me, is these do not fit my ear. My ear shape is partially to blame, but the design of these earbuds & the way they are designed to fit into an ear, is both incredibly uncomfortable and what holds them in place is the very small top 'hook' you can see in the product image, at the top of the earbud. This 'hook' is supposed to snuggle in a part of your ear, but for me, it constantly unhooks perhaps due to my skin not being grippy enough or not having enough depth.
This would seem like an odd problem, but I have tried on other earbuds of friend's, BOSE I believe, which followed a similar design, but were atleast 8x as comfortable and I'm not exaggerating. I can wear the pixel earbuds for tops 30 minutes but the bose one's i tried felt like a pillow.
The pixel earbuds solution to this problem is having different sizes of the rubber bud which goes into the ear canal - the different sizes have not made a significant difference in the grip and if anything worsed the comfort.

Hi Boii, thanks for sharing your experience about using the Pixel Buds A-Series, and it’s unfortunate to learn of your issue with comfort and fit. We appreciate that you tried all the ear tips to get the best comfort, but we’re sorry that the different sizes have not made any difference.
If you haven’t yet, we suggest rotating the placement of the bud. Please note that Pixel Buds don't need to be pushed in deeply to the ear canal like other in-ear earbuds. They can rest lightly in the ear canal. But if this has been tried already with no difference, we recommend contacting us here for further assistance: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/gethelp
