First off, there are some bizarre reviews here. About me - this is my first smart watch, I just need access to my calls, emails, Google maps, and texts and I have it all on this phone. Fitbit integration has made me more active now that I can count steps. The size for me is perfect, not too big that it overwhelms my wrist, but not too small that I can't use it well. I have been able to text quite effectively with this watch, I'm pretty impressed. It's also lightweight.
The only issue I had with it was during set up, I received 3 errors "GMS check in error, Google play services activation has failed, please abort set up and try again." At first, I thought I received a dud and was preparing to return the watch, I decided to try again, and it took me a good 1.5 hours but I managed to set up the watch. It involved restarting my phone multiple times, installing and uninstalling the pixel watch app on my phone multiple times, and 'un-pairing' my watch from the phone. I have never used an Apple product, so I can't compare. Walking my dog has become so much easier as I can leave my phone at home and just wear my watch. I get Nest camera notifications and the video quality is great, calls are also easy to make and receive. Overall, pretty happy with it.

Easy to setup especially if you have a Google Pixel phone.
LTE service works well for times I'm not near my phone at work or elsewhere without WiFi.
Battery easily lasts me all day and that could be stretched further by turning off some notifications and the always on display.
It does however have the same design as the gen 1 watch so caution should be taken as to not damage the screen glass.

It's a good watch, the extra battery life is worth the upgrade over the first pixel watch. The changed the charger and does charge much faster as well. A full 3 day battery would make this watch a lot better.

I've had the original Pixel Watch, the Galaxy Watch 3, 4, and 5, the Watch Active 2, and numerous Apple Watches. This is by far my favorite. It's sleek, and looks great. Not to mention getting between 36 and 48 hours on a single charge with AOD/Tilt to wake turned off. Plus the Fitbit integration has been great. This is going to be my watch moving forward, at least until we get some hints about the Pixel Watch 3. ;)

I had the Samsung watch5 it was fine but needed an LTE watch so I replaced it with this pixel which I find more fashionably appealing. It functions well, no complaints, battery has been fine for me

The Pixel Watch 2 with LTE was available for immediate shipping and the price was right. Got it in 2 days;.
Great watch. I bought it for the fall detection feature, in particular, but especially like the inclusion of Fitbit.

Good but not great, still prefer Ticwatch over these for battery life, screen size, screen quality, touch screen accuracy, and overall user experience. A lot of what you need your phone/fitbit app to view is available on my other watches without looking on my phone. Good quality feel, fast and responsive..... Barely over a day battery life is a bit short for me. Not a big fan of the rounded screen either as it make protecting if from scratches difficult as screen protectors fall off easily.

Being my first smart watch, I do not have anything to compare it to. I have a Pixel 8 phone, and setup was a breeze. I enjoy getting easy notifications, and it has helped me with my activity levels daily. ECG feature is a bonus. All in all, it's a great watch, other than the screen getting a few scratches already. There are a ton of irm and aftermarket bands for it as well.

41mm looks like a joke on wrist unless you have a very small one. I'd say it's good for ladies but any men with a decent wrist size would agree that it looks ridiculously small. Other than that it works perfect with google pixel phones. No bloatware no unwanted apps, just Google.

It took a few days to adjust to the battery. At first it didn't last long and it gradually got better. The function of the watch works great with the Pixel. The LTE function is good, I just which it synced blocked calls from the phone even when it's not in range to avoid spam calls and texts.

The Pixel Watch 2 is the perfect smartwatch as it contains all the health tracking you would expect from a flagship watch and paired with the Fitbit premium app you have loads of visibility on your metrics. Battery life is also pretty good as I am averaging almost 2 days with AOD off and frequent workout sessions. I would definitely reccomend this device to anyone in the market for a new Smartwatch!

Watch works great and tracks steps and your heart rate through out the day. I came from a Samsung Gear 2 and thought this would be an issue being a smaller watch, but I got used to it pretty quickly.
I've bumped this numerous times on doors and metal cabinets and still not a scratch in sight. There's not many tiny nooks for dust and particles to get stuck in so cleaning is a breeze.
Only gripe is that the battery life is terrible in the beginning until you turn on Battery Saver.
It will only last like 4 hours without Battery Saver on, which doesn't really stop any of the main features, just turns off the screen.

Hey there, JeromeB. Thanks for the review of the Pixel Watch 2's durability and health tracking! It's great to hear you're happy with the toughness and ease of cleaning.
We understand your frustration about the initial battery life. Our team is always working to optimize battery performance, and we appreciate you letting us know about your experience. Meanwhile, here are some tips that might help improve battery life without Battery Saver:
- Adjust screen timeout. Set the screen to turn off sooner after inactivity. - Reduce display brightness. A lower brightness level can save battery. - Limit Always-on display. If you don't need the time constantly displayed, consider turning it off.

Once I put the watch on, it seems to melt onto my arm and I never feel it. Super comfortable to wear. It responds well to my actions and voice. Very smart watch. Enjoyable to wear 24 hours a day. Charge it when I take showers. Sleeping with it on is easy. Very lightweight. Good buy from Best Buy.

Great watch. People make too big a deal over the bezels and battery life. It's no Fitbit in terms of battery but after I used it for a bit I can get two days on a single charge if I needed to. Functions perfectly, texts and takes calls no problem.

So we tried two different Samsung watches to complement the phone and just weren't that pleased with how they worked. This watch is very comfortable and stylish and has a significantly longer battery life. Also Google just seems to make some solid products these days.
