Fair at best. There is no way to secure the pen to the device when not in use. Having no flat surfaces, this pen will quickly roll off your desk.

I was looking for more functionality. I think this would be a big plus to someone doing more graphical work but for me the use case just isn't there.

I really only used it once or twice. It's a really cool product, but I would only get it if you know that you'll use it.

I felt like I had to buy it. It works great. I just hatedl that I had to spend $100 for a stylus.

Really crude pen with bad software support. Barely usable for notes and that's about it. Save your money.

The Pixelbook Pen is a great pen for use with your Pixelbook, but at $100, I don't think it's worth it for most people. If you are an artist and looking to do drawing on your Pixelbook, disregard this and buy the Pen. It has great levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt sensing, but if you are looking to use it as a stylus and only want to take handwritten notes, don't spend the money on the Pen. First, I guarantee that it will roll off of the table as soon as you lay it down. I had a friend 3D print me a cap for the end of it that fixes that issue, but straight out of the box, it is an issue. Second, the Assistant button is basically useless, and the way it sticks out off of the Pen, it gets pressed when it is in the case, causing the battery life on the Pen to be horrid if you aren't careful with it. I've burned up the battery in my Pen in less than 2 weeks before. If you just want to take handwritten notes and have a stylus for tapping on things, look to the Lenovo Active Pen instead. It works quite well with the Pixelbook, doesn't roll off of the table, still has a button that will work the Assistant, and only costs about $20.

    Great Pressure Variation Responsiveness

If all you are needing or going to use this for is a normal stylus its extremely overpriced, don't buy it, just buy a stylus. But if you intend on drawing and sketching on your new PixelBook its well worth the money, buy it.!! It can detect and utilize over 2000 variations in touch and pressure sensitivity making its use very close to actually sketching on paper.

Pen is smooth, programs are not

The pen was very smooth on the surface and is built very well, however there aren't a lot of good, supporting programs. When drawing it tended to lag because the programs weren't optimized well, and there weren't many good programs for drawing.

No where near worth $99 especially for how poorly circling a picture works..The assistant worked about 25% of the time finding info on what you circle. Most of the time it said it couldn't find any info. When it did find info it didn't have anything to do with what was circled. If not an artist do not waste your money. i promptly returned it
