I love the cards. I can buy for my teens to use on cell phone and not have to use my credit card. Works as a great week day special treat for doing well in school. Just show up with the card and give it to them and they keep doing well. Also price low enough they can use allowance to buy.

Adds points/credits to your Google play account. Good way to add money without having to have a credit card on the phone. Also a good way to control spending for kids/family members. Comes in a different amounts as well.

I keep getting Best Buy $10 coupons via email. But, they expire in a week or 2 and I don't really need to purchase anything. So, I buy Google Play gift cards and put the credit into my google play account. I can then use it to buy ebooks, apps or rent movies!

I was trying to watch an old movie and every site that I found it on charged a fee for it. I didn't want to have to create yet another online account just to be able to rent/buy a movie that was most likely a one time thing and would never be used again, so when I seen it was offered on google play under the movies/tv option, I went with that. Walked in best buy, bought the card, went online to the store to rent the movie and when prompted to pay, just typed in the numbers off the card and there you have it. I got the movie and the rest of the money off the card that wasn't used was put on my account to use later if I need to purchase another movie, a book, an app, or whatever. Since then I have went back and purchased a song and it worked the same way except the card info was already there which made the process even faster. Can't really go wrong with buying this card.

When we were shopping for are tablet, the Samsung associate helped me and wife install and set up for are daughter and they had all the pre paid cards in one place made it very easy to have all the necessary tools needed to get her tablet up and running.

Loading a prepaid Google Play card is safer and more convenient than linking your credit card to the Google Play store. Keep enough on your account to buy stuff but not enough to get upset if someone by chance drains it out. Reload when needed. Perfect.
