Have been a Chromecast user for some time. Finally took the leap to move to the 4K streamer for our 4K tv. Which I would have done it sooner. The remote is better as is the sound and video. Happened to catch it on sale which was a bonus.

Has more storage than the chromecast streamer which is nice so you can actually have all the apps you want. I just dont like that on the remote itself they kinda changed the layout of the buttons from the chromecast. Nothing bad, just annoying to get used to

everything working fine as advertised , very pleased.

Had a Google Chromecast & a smart TV originally. Both were slow, and just always had issues with connecting to my Denon Atmos AVR. This is not only a major upgrade, but picture quality even increased. Highly recommend.

The streamer is a little faster than the old Chromecast, and just a little[ better at everything it does, but at more than double the price, I don't know.

The new Google TV player is a fantastic upgrade from the older Chromecast. It's noticeably faster and more responsive, making navigation smooth and seamless. I really appreciate the enhanced Google Home integration. Mapping the new customizable button to quickly access my cameras is such a convenient feature. Overall, the device is user-friendly and offers a great blend of performance and functionality. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent alternative to monthly paid subscription services. The setup process takes approximately ten minutes and is relatively straightforward to complete. I bought two: one for the living room TV and one for our bedroom TV. It was a very sound investment. I used to subscribe to YouTube TV, but the rates kept increasing, to over $100/month. I spent $200 on both of these devices, and there is no monthly fee. Link it to your Gmail account, and you're all set.

I wanted to like it, I really did. I have a connected google household, and I thought this would fit right in. I did like that you can see all of your devices on the screen, that was pretty cool. The setup was pretty easy. However, I don't like the UI compared to the roku ultra. I like the app/tile setup better on the roku. The google streamer has all of the tiles listed horizontally. You have to keep scrolling right to get to the tile you want. It's alot easier to scroll down with the vertical and horizontal 4x4 tiles on roku. Oh, and there is the video quality which was a deal breaker for me. I turned on "Reacher" The show broadcasts in hdr10+. The show looks glorious on my 85 inch sammy. I started to notice every 5 or 6 seconds that the video would look like slow motion for a second or 2 and then it would be normal again. This happened again and again. I had it hooked up via ethernet so no problems with my internet speed. I next tried a movie, "Kraven the hunter". The same thing started happening again. That was enough for me. I am returning this. I know that the google streamer, and the roku ultra have different brand chips in them. Maybe this is the reason that the google product doesn't stream smoothly. All I know is I hooked up the roku again, and I have flawless smooth video again. Maybe there are still some kinks to work out with this streamer as it is only a few months old. Maybe I will give this a try again in a year or 2.

A little steep in price for what it is, especially considering it has ads. However, the ease of use is great. The seamless adaptation between all my devices is great. I like that I can control my Google home from the tv. I have a Samsung TV and I didn't want to connect it to the internet or use Tizen so here we are.

I wanted a replacement for my Firestick, and this Google TV streamer works GREAT and was easy to install.

Really happy with the new google tv. It's super easy to use. The quality is very good. I replaced my samsung ecosystem with this amazing google tv.

I haven't notice much of a difference from the cheaper Google Chromecast. I really don't think it's worth the extra money but i have it and it is great. Just as great as the Chromecast with remote. I guess, why fix something if it's not broken, right?

I have been using both the Google and Ruko devices, and the Google streaming device is easier to find the content I am looking for. The home page has more than just the apps.

Much better than the original chrome cast but a little pricey for what it does. On sale it’s a must buy. The interface is smooth and it’s easy to find shows.

Runs well. I got this to upgrade from my Chromecast and it's worth it.

I own four of the Chromecast w/ Google TV (4K) and decided to give the Google TV Streamer (4K) a try. I am definitely not disappointed. The wired ethernet connection is what sold me as I had several issues with the Wi-Fi staying connected on the old units. This new unit is much faster and has more storage space. Looks like I will be updating the three older ones soon.

This is one of the best products I have got that and everything Google in the new streamer just has so much space and when it's so smoothly I was quite impressed and definitely would recommend it along with a lot of Google products
