This is a great charger when you are traveling and will need to swap batteries often. It connected to my portable charger and took the same amount of time as if it was plugged into a wall outlet. I like that you can charge either one or two batteries.

it's compact and therefore it won't take up a lot of space when you bring it for your outdoor activities. it van charge 1 or 2 batteries at the same therefore you can continue recording your activities on your camera.

The dual battery charger is defiantly worth the money. It's nice to have 2 fully charged batters when going offshore fishing! Charges quickly and is a great size.

It's great being able to charge 2 batteries at once. I have had any problems with the charger or the battery that came packaged with it. If you're going to record in 4k, you definitely need more than 1 battery.

When I realized that getting by with two GoPro batteries was not going to be enough, I realized I needed a third battery and a charger to charge two batteries while one is in use. I record 4K, high bitrate footage with my Hero8. At around 50 minutes the battery is dead. I always have two charged batteries by the time one is dead. When traveling, I keep the batteries in the charger. Unlike what has been said elsewhere, keeping batteries in the charger as a compartment when traveling results in negligent drain—it is a non-issue. I can keep the charger connected to a portable USB power bank to keep things going when away from a wall outlet. It has exceeded my expectations.

Small & compact, easy to fit in my case. Able to charge 1 or 2 batteries with out tying up the camera. Top them off before you need them next. Pricey but great quality you would expect from GoPro.

I bought multiple batteries since the GoPro cant hold a charge. Being able to charge two batteries at once saves a lot of time. In cold weather the battery seems to runout a lot faster so it was very handy having the dual battery charger. It has a orange indicator when charging, after battery is fully charge the light indicator turns green. The batteries don’t slip out easily. I charged the batteries in the dual charger and threw it in my backpack while snowboarding, the batteries stayed in place the entire time. Definitely worth the purchase since you will need multiple batteries regardless of the conditions.

Knowing my GoPro 8 goes through a lot of batteries, I decided to purchase this dual charger. Worth it. The extra battery alone is $20. Charges fairly quickly. The extra battery loan is $20. Charges fairly quickly. But do purchase an extra battery. That way you could have two in the charger and one in the camera.

If you're buying a gopro, you'll need batteries. Since you'll need so many batteries. You might as well get one of these. Works well, charges fast.

This charger is definitely a necessity for anybody that plans on doing a lot of shooting with their GoPro. It comes with an additional battery as well so that's a bonus. It's definitely a little pricey but you won't regret purchasing it as the GoPro's usually give you about 30 minutes average of shoot time give or take. Whenever one of my batteries dies, I just pop in a new one and I'm good to go. This is also good because it can hold the batteries in place so you can throw the whole thing in your bag and it carries them just fine.
