Excellent 360 camera with good photo results using the Quik app. Footage also came out steady when doing videos. Seems durable having brought out for a few outings already. Nice tripod stick comes with it. Only downside seems to be the GoPro desktop apps that used to support the camera don't seem to work properly.

I bought this camera for one function, and that was to capture 360 images very quickly for a project. It did the job and I was able to capture an entire showroom in less than 10 minutes. I'm looking forward to exploring the cameras other functions this summer.

Great Camera, Terrible Software

Despite all of the negative reviews about the software for the Fusion I went ahead and gave it a try. The camera itself offers great quality video and has amazing potential. The software on the other hand is horrendous. I wasn’t able to edit via the mobile app and the software for computer editing is a hog. Unless you have a brand new top of the line computer good luck editing the video.

I love doing things outdoors. I saw this being used on Instagram and was immediately attracted to it. I use it when I go to the beach and use it underwater. My favorite time is to use it while I’m snowboarding. It catches so many effects and the apps are easy to use.

It has been a couple of weeks. I have used the camera to play around while riding the bike or taking the trail. Its fun to edit the videos to get a wraparound view of the surrounding. The real complication is while working with the software on desktop. It takes practice. Overall happy with the purchase got on sale with extra charger and battery deal. Havent hard the chance to use the extra battery yet. Initial battery charger life is good and acceptable.

I love this thing! I've mounted it on my motorcycle for various trips I've taken. The quality is amazing and if mounted properly, you can barely notice the stitch point! It's a little heavier than I'm used to when it comes to the Hero but I find myself using it more often than my Hero 7.

This camera shot amazing videos the 360 camera shot breathtaking movies from every angle side you could ask for but it has a down side the software to stick the videos together was great but it took hours to download the videos to edit them and if you were recording anything longer then 15 min and not moving fast the camera over heated and the battery life is what to be expected about 45 min

This is the perfect little 360 camera. Amazing quality for the price, very small and light, easy to set up quickly.
I bought it for a trip to Spain. I carried the camera, spare battery, and small tripod in a very small handbag. I could be set up and filming in under a minute.

Pro's: Camera quality is great. It's built solid, waterproof and has a really good video quality!
Con's: Bulky and heavy compared to other 360 cameras.
*Software for it is an absolute joke. Don't even try to download or edit video on you phone (I have Galaxy S10+)! It just does not work! I have a high end Gaming PC and I hated editing videos. GoPro software is pretty much useless but you have to use it to stitch up the videos before editing. It took about 6 hrs to stitch up 21 minutes of recording. Than you still have to edit it! I tried Quik-it's useless! Adobe Premiere Pro - Good software but a bit too complicated for a casual user.
My recommendation is if you are a semi-pro and are planning on spending a lot more time on post production - get this camera! But if you are like me, casual user...Attaching the camera to my bike, off road vehicle, dog...etc. Stay far away from this. Get yourself INSTA360 ONE X, which is what I did and I love it.

Great 360 action cam.

The fusion is probably one of the best 360 action cameras. With the price down to $299, it is worth it. Hard to justify it at the original $600 price tag.
You will also need two micro SD cards. One for each camera. So factor that into the cost.
No once you have shot your video, you need to stitch the video together. This will bring most PCs to its knees. I would recommend at least a core i7 7th gen or new processor and ample disk space.

I have now tried 4 360 Cameras and this one has great image ability but still not easy to use. Software is not perfect and exporting with two SD cards is not ideal. I think I will give up on 360 cameras for now.

The Best GoPro at a Killer Price!

Yes, the GoPro Max just came out and yes it has a few more features, but is it worth the crazy price difference and to the average GoPro owner the difference wouldn’t be noticeable! This camera is amazing and people trip out over the videos because instead of watching a single view you can watch everything going on around you. Just make sure you use 2 Class 10 or higher SD cards that are the same card because each lense records to their own card and GoPro’s software does all the magic and produces the video instantly. The fusion has its own program and software on a computer. It does use the same GoPro App on your phone as well as creating videos with Quik! Don’t hesitate to buy!!!!

Needs LOTS of work before it's worth the money
I was really excited with this camera came out because I was hoping it would replace the Ricoh Theta I was using but this camera has been nothing but a HUGE disappointment.
- The frame itself is bulky and the GoPro batteries have lots of issues with the first charge (the camera wouldn't even turn on but there were some helpful forums that talked about ways to "force start" them and eventually it worked).
- When charging, the whole camera gets really really hot which is undoubtedly bad for the hardware.
- There is a big lag of about 7 seconds between the click of the button (or voice command) so it takes a while to get used to holding it still for this long to get the shot.
- Both the computer and the iPhone app are totally worthless!! The phone app doesn't allow you to edit or post ANYWHERE except facebook.. you can't even save it to your camera roll! WHAT'S THE POINT? Over the 4 months that I've had this camera I have never been able to get it to connect properly to the computer program which means to import them, I need to save all the files to the computer then manually import. However, the rendering takes so long that it usually causes the program to crash before they are even stitched together.
Overall the Fusion has proven to be more hassle than it's worth and I've gone back to using the Ricoh Theta for my photography business and Google Street View images.
I'm sure the next versions of the GoPro Fusion will improve but for now, this device is just a 900$ paperweight

Good quality like alll GoPro products.
My only disappointment is about the storage of data into the cards, there are times that it doesn’t recognize them.
Other thing to be considered can be a more portable handle for those places where a long stick (that by the way is great) is not allowed.
Overall I consider this camera great for 360 and cropping as standar pictures.

Great camera. Review some handy tricks on You Tube and you are ready to go. Be prepared to be patient with rendering. Requires high powered computers and lots of time to render. Take small clips not exceeding 30 seconds which will each take small time to render. Tie them together afterwards. Otherwise, your computer may lock up if you take more than 2-3 minute clips.
