Excellent camera for all extremes. Works well Mountain Biking, Scuba Diving, Surfing and Snow Boarding. No complaints. This camera does not have all the bells and whistles with the multiple hi res options, but for the every day user, it is worth the price.

Pros: great quality, video and photos are very good. Compact size and a very large variety of mounting options. Cons: not able to instantly review what you shot, you off-load them to another device. Overall great product for the price.

I bought this camera for my 12 yr-old son. He used at the beach and it did amazing video while boogie boarding and body surfing. The underwater snorkeling imaging was great. We did use it with the handle accessory and the head strap accessory that we bought separately. Both were very easy to use. For the price I would recommend this camera five out of five

This camera like i said in the title it is really nice budget camera with a few flaws. Uses mini usb still and doesnt come with the same connectors and joints as the higher end ones but still comes with the essentials likea flat and a rounded mount and a skeletor and water proof backdoor. Also the rubber mount lock thing and of course stickers. The battery is pretty good so far and the mounts stay where you put them so the dont fall off. But one thing is the while housing diesnt come off and you cant buy extra batteries and it doesnt come with a storage card. You have to get your own. Overall amazing for about $130 even if its open box on bestbuy for $112 which is what i got. It was in 100% perfect condition.

I was searching for a reasonably priced "action cam". I figured the quality must be there since so many outdoor programs use them for filming. My kiddo was intended as the primary user so I didn't want to spend hundreds or more on the chance of an oopsie. The Best Buy site had this one for $130 and that's what we paid @ the store. Thus far, we're very pleased with the camera. Works better than many I've seen for twice the price.

The GoPro Hero is a great active camera for new users. Also, it is easy to use and provides a great finished product. I will more than likely upgrade to a higher tier of GoPro in the future.

This GoPro was easy to use and delivered great quality video (even underwater and without the optional red lens). Highly recommended for anyone who snorkels!

I bought this for my athletic daughter. I didn't want to spend $500 for something that may end up in the closet. It is easy to use. The image is good. The sound could be a little better. But overall she has had fun with it. I do wish I would have stepped up one more model to get the additional features like Wi-Fi, remote viewing, etc.

This is a wonderful camera with excellent video and single photo quality. I have not had an opportunity to use it under water where it is required to keep the water proof back on. As I understand it there is a significant loss of quality in the sound. I highly recommend this camera for anyone looking to start their go pro experience.

My new wife and I bought this on our way to Jamaica for our honeymoon. We used it at the Dunn River falls and snorkeling and it worked out great. With it being the entry level camera it doesn't have a screen but only takes some common sense to point. Obviously the range isn't all that good. Its not meant to be an zoom camera. We got great video snorkeling though. Everything is clear and crisp and amazing quality. Make sure when you use it to have your hands completely behind the lens because that thing is so wide angled that your hands will show up on the video.

Great quality camera for the price I paid! Pictures and video are clear and I love that it is waterproof. So glad they came out with a cheaper version of their popular camera.

We purchased this GoPro for our son's birthday and he loves it. The video quality is fantastic for the base model. It seems quite durable as it has already been dropped a few times without even a scratch. GoPro captures video in its own proprietary format so you need to install the GoPro editing software on your PC or Mac. I'm still learning the software - its a little hard to use for someone that has never done any video editing, but the video downloads automatically when the card is inserted into my computer which makes it really easy to review what you've recorded. For the price, you can't beat this camera!

Bought this camera for both of my 10 yr old very active boys. Camera was easy to setup and has provided us with some great action videos!

Good beginner camera. only shoots in 720 and 1080. Waterproof, but non removable battery. Nice camera to have and not worry about breaking it because its only $130.

Nice and light weight. Great videos from this. Son wore it on a head strap down a water slide without any issues.

This entry level GoPro is great for a beginner at $130. It will do 1080, but I prefer 720 at 60fps with supervise. I use it while on my motorcycle. In good lighting and daylight the picture is great, but I feel the other GoPros are better at night. 32gb max SD capacity is low too. I fill it pretty fast. 720x60fps I can get about 2 and a half hours + of recording. I have had the camera crash twice on me. Wouldn't stop recording or turn off. Had to force a shut down and any video it was recording at the time is lost.

Takes great video and fun to use. Nice and compact to use head mounted for skiing. Only negative is the lack of ability to take a selfie, as there is no remote abilities. Get this camera before you move on to the more expensive models.

It's a very well designed camera. I like all the feautures . I'm just disappointed at the fact that it doesn't have a replaceable battery. Very fun and easy to use. To bad it doesn't work with the gopro app.

Great for all the action packed activities my family participates in. Easy to use, light weight and high resolution. Made a multiple camera holder for underwater.
