This camera is amazing for just about anything. I bought it to record instruments and my drums and guitar look and sound amazing. I've definitely taken advantage of the waterproof feature and the various mounts. It is overall great picture and sound quality.

This Go Pro is better than I could have thought. I used it for White Water Rafting and out of the sun roof. Easy to use. Only complaint is that there is no sound but the video quality is great ;)

Wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $200-300 for a recreational camera. So, originally I bought a no name brand camera. It video quality was very poor, and after a few days it stopped working. Luckily I was able to return it. Then I decided to bite the bullet and try a GoPro. I thought they were over-rated, but was I WRONG. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The video and audio quality is excellent. The WiFI capability makes it so convenient to view your recordings and it's very versatile. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in video recording their sports (or general) activities. Also invest in the various mounting accessories, since they come in handy.

As a first Go Pro for my son, it works great! The small size and waterproof housing worked well as an underwater camera. Great price for a first Go Pro.

Easy to operate. Even though is it a starter one, the quality of the pictures and videos are really good. Highly recommended.

I'm having ALOT of problem with go pro studio but it's a good little camera.

Love my GoPro! Super easy to use and set up! Love that I can control it with my phone and put it pretty much anywhere. We took some great shots underwater on our vacation! Highly recommend for those that don't want to spend $400 on the newest one

We were going on our honeymoon on the coast of Turkey and wanted something we could use in the water. This was the perfect size and got the job done. The picture under the water was just as clear if not clearer than above. I picture mode is not my favorite as it doesn't give you enough time to move your hand out of the way. Also, when the waterproof back is on its really hard to hear anything which was a little bit of a bummer.

It was brought to a week long lake trip, worked great As well as a few hiking trips. Good video and the waterproof casing works great too. It's been fully submerged with no problems.

I am new at this GoPro thing. Have really wanted to get one for awhile. I bought the lower end model to get my feet wet. I am really satisfied with my purchase. Perhaps the higher end models do more, but if you want to take photos or video on the go this camera will do wonders. Took video while dune buggy riding, cave diving, snorkeling and parasailing. All came out great!!!

We totally opened this before we gave it to the kid for Christmas for.. umm.. learning purposes. Actually, just so we knew how to set it up on his computer so he could use it day one like a maniac. We were pretty impressed, thought lower price would be lesser quality maybe not bad, but it was awesome. He is going to love it. Wish it came with a hospital voucher :)

I am very happy with the performance of Go pro. Good value fro price. For basic users is the perfect fit. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to buy it. Hard to find since is the first model and may be already discontinued?

Very nice action cam for the price nothing else like it in this price range. Wish I had the wifi and Bluetooth but that's ok.

Opted for this over hero 3 and i wasn't disppointed. Used this on a cruise and did deep sea snorkeling. Don't really know why go for a more expensive gopro when this can do the job. For its price this is a steal

Bought this to film some snorkeling I had done as well some wildlife. Worked great and was pleased with the results. Since the case is fused to the waterproof housing it made things a lot simpler. One issue I did not consider was the audio which will sound muffled (i wish there was an attachment that would let me mount a small microphone externally from the camera. One thing that I did not like about the GoPro is that you have the options of only 720p at 60fps and 1080 at 30fps. I would have been happier if there were options of smaller resolutions to conserve space. Looking back it might be better to buy a waterproof phone since you have more recording options. If you are on a budget I would definitely recommend this.

Takes great videos and pictures. The concerns are the battery life ( lasts for about and hour to an hour and a half). I also noticed that the picture quality is not that clear pass 15 yards or so.

Easy to use camera, good definition and HD pucture

Great product for the money. The one draw back is that the battery is not replaceable you can only recharge it. So we have to see how long it will last.

Pro: This recorder capture moments from a view you wouldn't otherwise see. The picture is clear especially when using HD. My son loves it when playing basketball. Easy to use. Con is a bit bulky

My son loves it. It does not have a screen to view or playback what you taped and that would be nice. But for a first gopro it is excellent and has good quality video. Price and quality great.
