The GO PRO is very easy to use. We loved how light weight the camera feels. It worked extremely well while we rode a roller coaster. Great gift.

I wanted a go pro to record some of my motorcycle experiences, my kids wanted it for unerwater fun, but they were advertised at $3-500 and that was too much as we already have an underwater camera. I got this with a birthday gift card. Upon viewing the recordings, they came out great. Super easy to use. You just don't get the extra conveniences of wifi and blue tooth and remote control, etc. Also, it only takes the 32GB card, tried the 64GB and it said no way hosay. For $127 I am very happy with it.

We have enjoyed a Hero 3 on scuba trips for years. Last year we went with my sister who was amazed at the quality of our dive videos. We wanted to surprise her with her own GoPro camera, but it needed to be simple to use for her and budget-minded for us. To our delight, this version was still available, and will take HD quality dive film and has just a simple plug-in interface--no wifi needed for their purposes!

Overall a great action camera! Only wish I would have upgraded to the next level that was wifi enabled. But still a good camera. Use it to record my daughters volleyball games.

I wasn't expecting much since I bought the base model camera, but I am very pleased with the quality of the Hero HD. I am not sure about the other GoPro models, but I feel like this camera is not that great for regular video recording like a smartphone or camcorder. In short, I feel like the capture angle is a little too wide for more frequent use, but it should be perfect for capturing my skip trip! THanks Go pro.

Honestly, The quality of the go pro impressed me because it was just the first series of the hero. I'm very satisfied because the video quality and the price is unbeatable.

Don't waste your money on the go pro with out a screen you'll regret it! If you're going to go pro I suggest you pay a little more to get the Hero, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I love that you can play back any video or photo you just took, I love that you can connect via wifi and look at the media through the GoPro app on the phone. Great purchase

I purchased this as a birthday gift and he couldnt' be happier. We have used it several times for biking, kayaking and tailgating. Easy to use and has great quality video.

Pros: does everything a gopro is supposed to at a fraction of the cost. Cons: no removable battery and time lapse interval not adjustable. It does lack the higher resolution and frame rates of the more expensive gopro's but the majority of gopro users will never need it. If you are a first time gopro owner or are not sure which one to get this is the one for you. I'd rather have 3 or 4 go pro Heros than to have one gopro 4 black or silver.

I bought this for my active teen. He is able to head mount it for soccer, football and all his other activities. Great choice. Easy to use and a great deal for the money!

It was a gift for my boyfriend and he LOVED it. He purchased a motorcycle recently and I thought the go pro would be a good idea.. I was correct :) the price is great too

It is the bottom of the line of the GoPro Line. I returned it and the top of the line Go Pro 4 Silver and was much more happy with the overall picture, sound and the fact that the silver has a built in screen. There is no way to view the output of this GoPro since there is no WiFi.

The camera was easy to figure out and worked well while snowboarding. I was able to make a great video with the footage.

Bought this camera for SCUBA diving while in Spain. Although this is the basic model, the quality of the photographs and videos were superb, and enabled me to bring back glorious memories. Highly recommend.

We purchased this mainly because we were looking for something with underwater capabilities for an upcoming cruise. The clarity could be better but for the price, it's pretty good. We can get underwater videos and stills. And I can let my 11 y/o roam around the neighborhood with it making his "stunt" videos without worrying too much.
