This is my 4th GoPro action camera, having used the 4 Silver, 7 Black , and 9 Black previously. I like having two GoPro cameras for versatility and I really wanted two GoPro cameras that use the same batteries and charger cables. The 7 and 9 shared charger cables, but didn’t use the same batteries. The 9 & 10 share both. Since I take these with me when traveling, it is really handy to have two cameras sharing a single system for accessories. Setup was simple. I started by charging the battery fully and inserting a compatible fast microSD card. Then I opened the app which was already loaded on my iPhone. The app allowed me to add the Hero 10 while keeping my other camera profiles, and immediately offered to update the firmware. Once the firmware was updated I was able to test it. The controls are simple and compatible with prior GoPro Hero models. Image quality is excellent and there are options for both resolution and angle. What really impresses me is the image quality and stabilization. I took a selfie and did a 360° spin in my yard. My face was extremely stable in the video. It was as if the selfie stick was permanently affixed to my body. Very cool. Cinematic mode is just beautiful. The microphone is really good. Even distant bird sounds came through clearly. My voice was very clear on videos. All shooting is easy with the Hero 10. Select the mode and press the button. GoPro has a quick start (rabbit) setting which allows me to start a video or take a photo with a single touch. This allows me to react to photo/video opportunities really quickly. There many options for photos and videos. Resolution, field of view, image stabilization, time lapse light sensitivity. The image will auto rotate unless you don’t want it to do that…it is just a setting. I have a number of GoPro accessories and just ordered a few more. I keep them in a GoPro case (actually two cases now) so I can just grab these and go. I keep the batteries out of the cameras unless I’m using them, since certain modes keep the Bluetooth and/or wifi active when the camera is “off”, so the remote or phone app can tell the camera to turn on. I also like the tripod accessories that allow me to connect the GoPro to a standard tripod 1/4” 2.0 screw mount. I have a monopod that I can use as a walking stick and a GoPro mount at the same time. When traveling, I usually take the GoPro 3-way selfie stick, mini extension pole and the hat clip in addition to the tripod mount. That way I have choices about how to hold the camera based on the situation. I love this camera (and those that came before it). I have the best GoPro setup of my life (and one of my relatives will get a hand-me-down 7 Black in mint condition, that they will also love). I definitely recommend the GoPro Hero10.

The GoPro Hero10 Sucks! IThey changed the color profile. Flat is the best option now. Natural and Vibrant make a person in the pictures and videos look like an umpaloompa. All orange! And 29fps shooting comes out all blurry! Terrible Camera of the Year! Picture colors are blown out as well. Like I'm filming over exposed all the time when I'm actually filming 4k 60fps at 0 ev comp. And I just missed the refund date.

The GoPro hero 11 is very impressive compared to the hero 10. Some people may say that it’s not much better than the 10 but if you factor in that it comes with a Enduro battery, and it has quicker low time in the more user-friendly, user interface, his head and shoulders above the hero 10.

I have had numerous go pros where I had to throw them in the garbage because they had heating issues and they have a battery drainage problem, I even got an extended membership option where I could go and get a replacement or if I had any type of issue, and what I would find that Best Buy would keep my product for a few weeks And if I was traveling, I would not have a GoPro camera which is intended for adventures and is meant to record special moments, so didnt have it until they were absolutly sure that this profeucyhad issues by keeping my item for a few week. I even took pictures and the camera said that camera had heat it up and it's going to turn off and Best Buy did not believe me on that and they would send the product back and find that it does not have any heating issues, then I would get the product back and I would have seen issue again and I will send it back to Best Buy again. Get a phone selfie stick , your phone is better for everything or look for cheap items on amazon made by china .

Christmas present for my 10 tear old son. It has been enjoyed already and used frequently with out difficulty. The help I received when purchasing will useful and professional with knowledgeable information for multiple accessories.

Bought the GoPro 10 camera for my wife to take pictures while she went snorkeling on vacation in the Caribbean.
