Get the Hero

There is no removeable battery so when it dies you have to recharge it, there is no battery swapping. Mine over heated after 15 minutes of usage then after 10 minutes of usage when I tried to film again. Camera got so hot it burnt my hand when I touched it.

Good camera for its size abs weight

Too hot to use for any project

It's difficult to find clear, step-by-step instructions, which makes setup anything but easy. After spending a long time trying to get it ready, going to store waiting long time and exchanging to the same model, well past the 15-day return window, we finally started using it to shoot sports videos, only to discover that the battery overheats and becomes unusable. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Honeymoon Camera

It was a great addition to take on mh honeymoon to capture moments. Was able to get the underwater case and it was great when scubba diving to capture those memories. One very small downside was not being able to take pictures but was able to use the freeze frame on the app to get pictures from the video.
