Upgraded from a Hero3 to a Hero13 and it was amazing. This bundle was nice--two batteries, carrying case, and the handle that floats. Images are high quality and were easy to transfer to my phone to share with family at home using the Quik app. The learning curve from the Hero3 to the 13 was easy pretty easy to navigate. The only thing I struggled with was opening the battery/memory card storage slot because this camera, unlike my old one, is waterproof up to like 10', so that makes sense. My 10 year-old loved it.

This bundle was a great value and we have been using it regularly. I am a little disappointed with GoPro customer service, as they want you to subscribe to be able to use all of the camera's features and it's rather difficult to buy little things that break without buying a bundle that includes items you probably don't need. Aside from that, we are enjoying the cameral. Not happy with GoPro for trying to get me on another subscription (read the room, bro).

Took this GoPro to the splash park and it crushed it. Totally waterproof and handled everything without a problem. The touchscreen is super easy to use and just feels natural. Setup was simple and the camera quality is awesome. It’s fun, tough, and just works. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that can keep up with all the action.

The GoPro Hero 13 Black is a solid upgrade. The 5.3K video at 60fps looks super sharp, and HyperSmooth 6.0 keeps everything stable, even in action. The new magnetic mount makes switching setups easier, and the interchangeable lenses are a cool addition. Battery life is better with the 1900mAh Enduro, but low-light performance hasn’t changed much. The built-in mics are decent, but no wireless mic support is a bit disappointing. Overall, a great camera for action lovers. Worth upgrading if you have an older model, but not a huge leap from the Hero 12.

A great purchase. Went from a hand me down hero 3 to the 13 black kit here and am loving using it. Its anti jutter is amazing. When watching footage, You can’t tell at all that I have it mounted to a fully rigid retro 26” mountain bike racing on aggressive rooty trails. Worth the upgrade!

The Hero is impressively tiny, coming in at just 1.9 by 2.2 by 1.2 inches (HWD) and 3.0 ounces. It's smaller and lighter than the Hero13 Black (2.0 by 2.8 by 1.3 inches, 5.6 ounces), which I count as a positive if you plan to mount the camera on a helmet or chest harness. But given how slight action cameras are in general, the Hero's smaller frame won't make a notable difference in most cases.
