Absolutely love my new GoPro. I enjoy mounting mine on the underside of my shotgun, snorkeling, and off roading. It handles everything great and i haven't had an issue with it! Video quality is always great during daylight. Has many different options for video quality.

It worked great and waterproof drop proof and had no problems at any time.

It has been a great camera so far...I used it on my camping trip with a mono pod and chesty, so so worth it...kind of help you save time as well, for instance don't have to wait and focus of the shot, just click and done... I love it so far, and definitely recommending it to others....still using it and exploiting the reach....if found a cool use will definitely put it up here...

Cave diving, snorkling, and zip line videos were AMAZING with this go pro!!!

Awesome camera from the regular picture taker and home made movie to high quality HD video for short film making. Water proof for the boat rides in the summer to the winter slopes.. The remote help when u can reach the camera and want to turn it off/on or change settings. Well worth the money. Very durable even to mount on my Rc 1/8 scale buggy or my helicopters

Price is a bit high but for the quality it is worth it. Video quality is great and setting up was pretty easy just follow the directions for the remote setup. Can't wait to test out more footage with the motorcycle once the weather warms up some.

The GoPro is my first HD Cam since ditching my dedicated camcorders for my cellphone. what you get in the package is a variety of parts and cases that will cover most of the basics. The unit is small and simple enough and the accessories are designed to be modular so that you "bolt-on" what you need for each situation. A great accessory is the touchpanel viewing screen.

Great camera, advertise as it is used. Just wish better battery life.

Awesome little camera. Excellent pictures and video. With the Bluetooth off I got over 90 minutes of video on the standard battery. I mount this camera on a 1/5th scale RC truck and believe me, it takes a beating and keeps on ticking.

It's a wonderful camera even for a technological disadvantage old lady like me! Seriously, we love it! From sporting events with our grown kids, family vacations, underwater scenes and Watersports. The video is clear and my kids are able to take pictures off of the video, also. We just video everything now and capture pictures later.

This is my third generation GoPro, it's hard to believe the advances GoPro has made since my first Hero HD. This camera has been redesigned. It's design is tighter, sleeker and sexier than the Hero2, and the rubberized texture of the body feels good in your hands. The camera body is black on 5 sides (and silver on the front). The Hero 3 Black is lighter than the 2, but it feels more solidly constructed. I haven't tested the claims of splash resistance of the new design ;). GoPro cameras are made to go anywhere...or at least anywhere I have been, and they have mounts and cases that protect the camera itself and let you capture video places you'd never think of taking a conventional camera. I've taken my GoPros snowboarding, sailing, hiking, camping, to burningman, on camping trips, cliff jumping, and strapped it to my head, my wrist, my chest, to the roof of the car, to a kayak and its paddles, and to a dog. Before GoPro, I never had a camera that I could just "set and forget" and come up with consistently excellent results. The Hero 3 Black has a better, flatter wide angle, fixed focus lens. With it, subjects are always in focus. The image stabilization is magic. There is none of the motion-sickness-inducing jitter that you get when you strap a normal video camera to a car or boat. There are just a couple of minor drawbacks: the housings are redesigned, so previous generation housings won't work with the Hero 3. The mounts (chesties, head, wrist, etc.) work fine with the new housings. My older LCD backpack works with the new camera, and the battery backpack does too. I know that you can't future-proof everything that you shoot today, but I want to record the highest quality source material so that when I come back to it later, I'll be able to get the most out of it. The extra prostyle features of the Hero 3 Black made the decision for me. The GoPro Hero 3 White and Silver models are similar to the Black edition, with a pared-down set of features. They are solid alternatives that will do just fine, and and at the same time keep you in the latest technology.

Overall the size and quality of the video make it a good purchase. I just think the price is a little bit high and the cost of all the accesory brackets starts to add up.

Took it on a 4-day bike tour. Lots of options. Decent battery life, which charges SUPER fast. Had a lot of good experience with this camera already. GoPro App is helpful. Camera is perfect for mountain biking! Get one!

I bought this camera for a trip to Central America. I've gotten much more use from it than I ever expected. Yes, I captured priceless memories of my trip, but I've also used it in various family activities. The strangest was probably putting it inside my dishwasher with some flashlights to diagnose a problem. Fun and useful!

These things are so fun, they'll make you want to get out and do exciting things more often if you aren't already. I snowboard, longboard, and kayak, along with many other activities and like the description says, its the most versatile camera in the world. You might as well get the black plus edition if you're thinking about getting the silver, its a $100 difference but it comes with the remote which is $80 separately and theres a few more features and better image quality on top of that. I can't say enough good things about these cameras, if you're planning on buying one, make the move!

Very nice camera although a bit expesive,but I guess you get what you pay for. I've dropped mine a few times (butterfingers) but the case protects it pretty well.

Easy to use camera, very practical and price effective

Fantastic camera! This is a wonderful and easy to use waterproof first person view of everything going on. It is great to record our son and soon to be daughter!

My 16 year old daughter actually bought this with "mostly" her money. She wanted it to take on a Snowboarding trip to Vail over Spring Break. I highly doubt she read any of the instructions, but was able to get the GoPro up and running without any problems. There just happened to be a mount on the rental helmet that she was boarding with, so she used that the 1st day and then bought a telescoping wand to try for the next 2 days. It takes awesome and very stabilized videos. There's an iPhone app so you can see what you're viewing and there's also a remote which is similar to the remote for your car. Both the remote and camera are waterproof to 40 meters. I'm going to take it with me the next time I fly and scuba dive....
