Being new to the Action Camera world, there are a lot of different options to select from. In my research, I felt that the GoPro HERO4 Silver was the best choice in terms of bang for your buck, and how it would fit in my active life. As an avid snowboarder, I'm very happy with the quality that the HERO4 offers. Additionally, I really feel that the built in touchscreen is advantageous as I am able to frame my shot just before shooting. I would really recommend this camera to those who are looking to enter the HERO4 line.

I bought this for my kids and, boy do they love it. I do too. In just a short time it has been used for a concert, a snorkeling trip, Bonaroo, tours of college campuses, a trip to the beach and, for my kids shenanigans. The ease of use has been phenomenal. I venture to guess that technophobes will quickly acclimate to it. Lastly, everyone that has used it loves the lens on this Hero 4. It's perspective makes you feel like you're wielding a true cinematic movie camera. I hope that you enjoy yours as much as we have enjoyed ours!

I take this camera everywhere I go. It is user-friendly and there are plenty of avenues to find different ways to use my camera. I have used it in a variety of settings land and sea end it gives me the best possible pictures; clear colorful shark images. I recommend a silver over the black for the touch screen for the average or above average user as the black is great with a little bit more on it but more for the professional.

This is a great camera for sports and action adventure. There are a ton of mounting options for just about anything. Highly recommend, also love the lcd screen, makes reviewing easy.

Great camera. Was easy to learn to use and easy to set up. Also plenty of different mounts and setups to fit any use. Picture quality is good and different photo options are great.

The image quality is really great and the wide angle really captures a large image. The battery life is less then expected but I purchased a second battery to handle that issue.

Opened it on Christmas day and have used it several times since. Have downloaded the video and it looks great. Even my 10-year old finds it easy to use. His review: "I love it!"

I love the size and idea of the Go Pro. I just went on a 4 week trip to Europe and used the Go pro to document the experience. My main problems with it were how long it takes it to turn on and that it would randomly shut down or freeze from time to time. I missed quite a few amazing moments due to these issues. But i love that it's so small and easily hidden. It's pretty amazing what these tiny little things can do. I also don't like that it doesn't come with a strap for wearing it around your neck or wrist. The wrist band thing they have is way to large for my liking, as I'm a pretty small human. I created my own wristlet out of a hair band. Anyway, I love it and hate it at the same time.

We took the camera away with us on vacation and loved it. We found the camera easy to use. It takes great pictures especially underwater. Definitely would recommend this camera.

I absolutely love these cameras. The only thing I would say negative as there is no zoom. But the pictures are gorgeous the videos are great nothing wrong with these cameras.

I bought this camera for my spring break trip to the Rocky Mountains and am so glad I did! I bought the gripped "selfie" stick to go with it and carried it around on our hikes comfortably and was able to quickly get all interesting footage. Videoing is definitely better and used them to get stills for photos because I don't think the camera can focus. I love having a Hero 4 because there is the option of super view that the others don't have. This was perfect for the mountains as it included a lot in one shot.
