My son was happy to receive this as a gift. He is very active, hunting, skiing and living life. Now he can record and share some of his many adventures! He also purchased a ski helmet to mount the GoPro to. That made my wife happy as we could never get him to wear a helmet skiing. I hit a home run with this gift purchase!

I bought this camera about two months ago and have used it tons to film outdoor activities I have been on such as boating and rafting. The camera works great - it really comes in handy when you are going to be doing something that involves water. The video quality is fantastic. I highly recommend it for any outdoor enthusiast.

This has been a great buy! We use it for everything, we're not the hard core sports with skydiving or freestlye bmx on top of a mountain cliff. We use this mainly as a camera to record our everyday lives along with special moments with our new born daughter.

This camera is going to be an awesome edition to make action videos for my fishing clients and guests as we hook,fight , and release game fish. The water proof feature will be a valuable asset on the water. The clarity of the images this camera produces is incredible. I am going to produce some great films this season!

By far, one of the best action cams. Great product! Good for beginners and professionals alike. If you're stuck between the black and silver edition, I would go with the silver edition because of the touch screen.

Great for pics in all kinds of places and easy to use

The GoPro is an excellent camera for any type of person in need of a camera. I am not much of an extreme sport person like many commercials advertise this product to be used for, but it still works perfect in everyday camera usage. I took this camera on my honeymoon and came back with some amazing pictures I'll have forever!

Great pictures, easy to use, awesome for group photos

I have only had this camera for a few months and I love it! Depending on the lighting the photos come out very nice. I have already used it underwater and can confirm that it takes great photos and videos. It also is good for sightseeing too. I recommend you get accessories because they make the experience even better.

I've only played with it a little, but so far it exceeds my expectations! I purchased the GoPro to use on an upcoming cruise...we are going snorkeling and I wanted a good underwater video camera that also takes stills. I purchased the 4 Silver because it has a 12mp camera. I will update once we return from our cruise.
