This is my first GoPro camera. I did extensive research prior to purchase. Looked into the GoPro HERO4 Silver and Black. Decided on the Silver as my first HD action camera. The camera is smaller and lighter than expected which made its use easy and comfortable. I would recommend it. Now, I need to figure out how to use its editing features. Coincidentally, I ran into another family, while on vacation, who also purchased the HERO4 Silver. They were equally pleased.

We recently purchased this camera for our European backpacking adventure and couldn't be more happier. It is easy to use and gave us EXCELLENT video and pictures of our trip. We loved the Go Pro App and highly recommend it. We barely used the 4K feature because we quickly discovered we could not download these to our phone, so we took most video in 1080, but the quality was still amazing! Highly recommend this product! It is easy to take around and store.

Have only used this camera once on a 4 day motorcycle trip to West Virginia. The clarity was better then I expected and handled the changes from full sun to shadowed roads very well. Even handled the bumps and vibration of a motorcycle well. I like the LCD display to line up the shots and be able to see what the camera sees. Easy to use with the new touchscreen menu.

I don't always like how wide the lens is but otherwise this is a good for photos and videos. I like that the screen is built in. The battery compartment is hard to open but the charge does last for a long time.

I've been wanting to buy a gopro for a while but never really got around to it. I decided to make this purchase and I don't regret it one bit. The camera surpassed my expectations.It performs really well, I mainly use it in mildly lit situations at church while I play the drums. The customizations of settings for video shooting was amazing and straight forward. The protune also, helps out a lot in bringing up the sharpness of the video and iso. However, two thinga I don't really like is the camera's battery life and it tends to get pretty warm while shooting (I use the open back door that comes with the camera). So I bought 3 extra batterias and plan to buy a frame mount. Overall, the camera is great and performs really well.

My second GoPro, first one died after a couple years and I was not sure about buying another one. The built in screen on the back is what sold me and I must say, the camera preformed great while on vacation. Allows for great framing of pictures both in the water and out. Love that I can also review and delete unwanted pictures and videos without having to download.

This is a very easy camera to use and easy to carry because it is so small. Also takes very clear pics.

I have had a number of video cameras I've used for multiple activities for my ATV, motorcycle, & jet ski and this go pro is by far the easiest to use, securest to mount, and best quality of them all! I love this thing & have captured some of the coolest footage I wouldn't trust with any other device.

Purchased as a family gift, mostly for my son who is ALWAYS doing something. Great, sturdy product. He was mostly wanting it to film paintballing games. A huge variety of mounts available, but they are all extras and do NOT come with the camera. I liked the fact that the silver had a built in touch screen where the black did not. Amazing quality out of such a tiny device. Very happy so far. Will probably purchase additional mounts.

Purchased for my daughter's 13th birthday and she loves it. She is a competitive swimmer and has a lot of fun taking pics, while swimming. We went hiking to a water fall yesterday and she was able to capture some great footage. Her and her 8 year old brother really enjoy this GoPro and she's currently saving for some accessories. Great purchase! I love the fact that my kids are capturing memories of themselves! No parent required! ha!

I have never owned a video camera of any type besides what is on my cell phone. I have no reference of how good this camera is against others but I did test it out a ton in Florida. Pros 1. The picture is amazing looks really good even underwater which really makes this camera stand out IMO. 2. The battery life is really good I was getting around 2-4 hours of record time depending on how often I turned it on and off you can easily make it last all day. I bought it and it came with extra battery as well as other things that made it even better. 3. Its waterproof which I took full advantage of in the pool as well as the ocean. After the ocean I rinsed it really well with water as it has a stainless steel hinge but you may not even have to do that just my experience with salt water told me I better. 4. Very durable I dropped it a few times and its still like new. I would recommend a floating attachment if using in water I had one and it saved the day as I dropped it after being slammed by wave. There are many more pros about this but im sure most of stopped reading by now. Cons 1. It does not do well at night at all. Any darkness for that matter if you do have a little light it does pick it up rather nicely but without some this will not work. When sun went down and it was still light enough to see the camera had us very dark almost unrecognizable. 2. Not really a con but watch out what SD card you get a lot of them are too slow. They make it easy by putting the ones that work on their website plus BestBuy is really trained to know which one to get. That's really the only cons I had in my experience thus far. TLDR-Camera is awesome, battery last a long time, waterproof is awesome, 4k capable although I didn't use it much 1080 looks amazing. Buy this if your doing any sort of water filming or if you want to strap it to a helmet or motorcycle it really is great!.

Being a tech nerd, I've always loved GoPros but never really needed to own one until this summer. My wife and I decided to do a road trip and I bought this HERO4 Silver with a suction mount to attach it to the front window of the car and record the scenery. The picture quality, the ease of use (AND the mobile app) were absolutely worth the price

I received this as a Christmas gift and it is a very neat camera. It has a nice picture, very stable image when recording and a great size. I like that the view screen is a touch screen, it makes it very easy to navigate the menu setting. The case that it comes in is great and seems like it will really protect the camera. I also like the different mounts that come with it. I am really looking forward to seeing what all this camera can do!

The only that I don't like is the removable door to access the memory card can be easily lost. Other than that it's great!! Not need the backpack LCD is great. I use it for motocross and on my motorcycle. This is a great camera but I would advise that you invest in additional battery.

This camara can be used just about anywhere. Bought the camera to use while camping, hiking, biking, boating, and woodworking. Takes better video than a point and shoot camera and still gives good quality photos. Small size is easy to pack. There are a lot of different mounts available as well. Still learning everything I can do with it.

Got it for Christmas. It's easy to take the camera out to charge the battery and change memory card. It takes neat photos and the touch screen is nice too, but you can't use it unless you switch case backs, or just take the camera out all together. I haven't uploaded pics/video to PC yet, so I can't comment on quality yet. But there are MANY out there, so you can see for yourself. I personally think the attachments are a little expensive for what they are, but, if you're buying a goPro, you have some extra $$ anyway. So, all in all, I dig it :)

I bought this GoPro to use to film a small documentary. So far so good. It's easy to use. External mic would be a beneficial additional purchase as sound is a bit muffled. Also batteries don't last very long so purchasing extra batteries and an additional charger was very beneficial. Over all I'm really happy with the purchase!

I love the ease and versatility of this little camera. It's easy to use, easy to pack and store, and super easy to download and share files. The quality is excellent, even underwater. I had high hopes when I purchased this, and it's the best technology purchase I've ever made. I've used to capture every little moment!

Just got the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. This camera is very easy to learn its functions. Very versatile. The quality of the video is great. With the 64 Gig card, can take over 4 hours of video at 1080. Still learning how to use it, but will be taking it on trips. Planning on making iMovies of international trips for possible uploads. Very pleased with the quality of the camera's videos and photos.
