This is a very good compact recorder and camera. Works as it was advertised. I wish it would have came with documentation and instructions but Google is out there I guess.

I use this on vacations and anytime I want both video and stills. Good quality and several options for picture size. Glad I can see the screen.

An excellent product if you like to record in 4K. When attached to the KARMA grip sometimes an Error on the SD card appears. By simply removing the SD card and reinserting it again will fix the problem.

Purchased this for a cruise we went on to Mexico. My kids really enjoyed being able to record under water and also using the wrist strap and recording while zip lining. Access to live view on your phone is awesome! Very happy with my purchase

I was wanting to get one for a while but was never sure how much I would like one but it is well worth the money and great for kayaking and hiking. Highly recommended

I love this camera. It works really well, and you can sinc it to your phone and watch what your recording and save it to your phone. Very clear display and easy to use.

I had never considered getting a GoPro and one of my friends showed me the value in this to record my artwork creation. Don't know how I lived without this gadget before.

I am going to hawaii on vacation soon so i started practicing with the camera to get good pictures and they are awesome.

GoPro seems to be the standard in action cameras. This is my first action camera, and although i am happy with it I am not impressed. The quality of video while attached to a car or scooter in my case was very poor, the image stabilization really didn't seem to be doing much of anything. GoPro's apps are HORRIBLE. transferring media from my gopro to a mobile device is very painful. the app doesn't keep you logged in, and you constantly have to resync your devices. Also the battery life is poor at best. Shooting 1080P video you get roughly 2 hrs off a full charge, and even while not in use the camera seems to loose batter life. But it is fun to use, and quick and simple, and being waterproof without a housing is a huge plus.

I would definitely recommend a GoPro to anyone that loves taking pictures and videos with a nice panoramic filter and also loves to take underwater pics and video!

Admittedly, I am a novice with action cameras, but I thought I'd at least be able to upload the one very short video I made from the camera to the computer. Not yet. And, while I was trying to figure it out, the battery died. I didn't know that until I tried to capture video again a few days later. Also, I had a heck of a time unfastening the latch that holds the case closed. There is a tool for this, but I've not been able to find one sold separately from expensive accessory kits that have lots of other stuff I don't want or need. So this may be a great camera, but the learning curve is much steeper than I thought and I haven't had time to devote to educating myself. For the novice, this is definitely not user-friendly right out of the box.

Go Pro 5 was great for all outside activities, not as good for low light indoors

My father has always had s GoPro and took it everywhere with him. This camera is AWESOME. Produces great picture and video quality and really a great action camera.

Incredible picture quality. I'd like to figure out some way to output to a hard drive so as to be able to shoot longer timelapses with it, but other than it's great.

Was the couple extra bucks and get a go pro instead of these off brands the best thing I've ever bought amazing quality for both pictures and even better under water

Great camera, easy to use the thing the most like it's case free, easy to use the attachments and easy to open to put it charge.

This little thing worked awsome on our cruise to Seattle, the clarity really surprised me... Can't wait to get it under water and see how it really does!

Wow! What a difference from the Hero 4. Easier to adjust settings, bigger menu, touch screen. Love it. Old photographers eyes had a difficult time with the other models.

I wanted a camera to video hiking trails and ski trails. This is perfect for both, enough apature to video in darker forrest and enough stability that the pictures are really clear . Voice off and on is a great feature. The only negative is the 4 hour battery life.

im a skydiver, and this camara is great for that. also its perfect for great selfies at vacations with big views.
