The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because its a little tricky to get used to the photo or video mode only. At first, I thought there was no stand by mode, but after a while we got used to it. Great image quality and super sturdy.

Love how easy this camera is to use and comes in its own self contained case. The one button for filming on top is so easy and the view finder is a must!!!

My 12 year old bought this for you tube videos. It is really a great camera. He's having so much fun doing underwater video as well as action videos.

sometimes evenif i charge it overnight, the battery doesn't reach 100%. and sometime it freezes while using and recording with it. i think the hero 6 might be a better option. or they need to come up with a better update.

I use these cameras as a backup in my job as a commercial diver. They make quality videos and can even record voice if hard mounted onto the dive hat.

Super clarity, way better then the older model. Crisp clean picture, video and still shot capably makes it the perfect compact camera to take on vacation!

This camera has an amazing picture quality. I love to take it along on all of my trips and events! Even great for home videos of the kids!

I mainly bought this for taking pictures while I was traveling abroad, and the videos I recorded are stunning. The pictures came out looking great too.

So I purchased my go pro a year ago and I love it! I have used it for road/mountain biking, at waterparks and kayaking. I have not had any problems with it, it easily connects to my phone to download my content or to use as a remote to take a selfie. The only thing that I don't like is the battery life it drains fairly quickly but not were you are left with a dead go pro. I've never had it die on me I always fully charge it when I know I'll be doing a lot of use of it during a day of fun but other than that I have no complaints.

I can't tell you enough how impressed I am with the picture quality of this GoPro. I shoot in 4k and have not looked back since. Super happy with quality.

I love my go pro. The ease to operate it and the functionality of it. Use it on land and when we snorkel.

I bought and returned a 4 Black a year ago then decided to try H5 - really like the touch screen and voice controls. Works great and much easier to use.

Its not only great for beginners but even for the advanced camera guy. It takes some awesome wide angle pics. Great 4k video. Definitly recomend it.

So far so good. Camera fits the bill. We had a small learning curve, but pretty simple to use. I LOVE the smart phone/tablet interface.

Great GoPro . I got it for my son as a birthday gift. He went to Colorado on s ski trip it took awesome pictures. I highly recommend it.

I use the suction mount and my go pro at the track all the time the video is amazing. Also make recording easier with voice activation.

Better instructions would be a positive. Hero 5 is definitely cool as it is waterproof on its own. Some of the design of the doors and flaps seem flimsy. Time will tell if they break. YouTube was critical in my not snapping off the doors.

I love that the camera is waterproof without need for additional cases now, and has the screen built into it. Picture quality leaves something to be desired, but that's just GoPro for you. Still, a super nifty addition to my camera bag!

So far, the camera has been great! I love the fact that there is a screen on the back, super helpful! The voice control has been fun, though a little awkward yelling "gopro take photo" in the middle of a crowd, but it's been great so far
